As the bullets zoom through,
And the men and women scream,
We look for our enemies,
But instead we found love,
In a place where love doesn't merit existence.
We look for an excuse,
To keep each other,
But all excuses we have, is to die together,
And we can just end it all, together.
You, an Atlas soldier, sworn to hold up the world,
And me, a Sentinel soldier, sworn to guard it,
We both have good intentions,
But Irons thought different.
I understand, you just follow orders,
As I do myself,
Both orders mean, we must not see each other,
And to kill if seen,
And it's worse than dying,
To fight you.
I don't want to listen to the sounds of battle,
Or to look at the fight,
I just want to look at you,
With no guns pointing,
Or any insults or orders,
And our mask and helmets off,
Lets just listen to nothing,
Ignore the sounds of battle
The cries of men,
And do nothing,
But listen to,
The sounds of silence.
