Annabeth

We finished eating, and he led me into the back, where his home-made recording studio is. This is pretty much my dream come record a song I wrote, and to be with my idol.

"Do you know how to operate the recording gear?" He asked me.

"No. I never been in a studio before." He smiled. This was going to be a challenge if he didn't know how to work it.

"Ok, when your doing recording, I will teach you. It is pretty easy." I nodded and grabbed my guitar.

"What kind is it anyway?" He asked. I smiled.

"A Gibson Fire bird acoustic. My father got it for me." I said no more. I wonder if my father is even looking for me. I guess I wasn't a good of a daughter as I would have liked to be. I started to tear up, and Percy was by my side, holding me close to him.

"Ok hun, before we record, you have to call your father. He is a good man who has a good daughter. You can't delay it any longer." I wanted to argue, but I knew he was right. I needed to tell him where I was, and that I was fine.

"Ok love. Where is the phone?"

Frank

I didn't sleep a wink last night. I was hoping I would hear the door open, or at least get a call from my daughter. But nope, not even a text. Then, I heard the phone ring. With out even checking the caller I.D. I picked up.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hi dad." I couldn't believe it. She finally called.

"Where are you baby girl?" I had to know where she is.

"In a cabin with Percy Jackson, about to record one of my songs." Oh my god. She is with her idol, and about to record. I had to call Athena and go see her.

"Where is the cabin Annabeth?" I heard her asking Percy where the cabin was.

"About three or four miles from our house. And dad, please don't bring her." She still dosen't know that we split. Good.

"I won't. Just please, stay put. I have a surprise for you. I'll be there soon."

"Ok dad. I know I don't say this often, but I love you." I teared up.

"I love you too Annabeth." We hung up, and I called Athena. It's time we see our daughter record.

Percy

"Your father wants you to wait till he gets here. I can feel it." She was a little upset that she couldn't record right away, but agreed to wait. So we plugged in a movie and waited, cuddling up on the sofa. Roughly twenty minutes later, we heard a knock on the door. I got up, and found it was her father, and what I guess her real mother. I smiled before slipping on my poker face.

"Annabeth, it's for you." I said, sliding out-of-the-way. She got up and walked to the door. With out checking through the peek hole, opened it.

"Annabeth, I brought you your surprise." I heard her father say. I moved behind her, right as he stepped aside, and showed her mother. Annabeth just stood still, before running to the both of them, hugging them. I smiled.

"I think she likes it." I told them both. I led them inside, and made up some sandwiches and coffee. They were surprised that I decided to come here to this cabin

"To be honest, I do not like big houses. I prefer living in the country, in a log cabin or something like that." They nodded as they snacked and talked. Finally, I suggested that we go to the back and start recording. Annabeth jumped up and ran into the back. I looked at her parents and we started laughing.

"Ok love, just sing and play into the mics, and we'll fix any mistakes, ok?" She nodded.

I started the recording, and told her to start. She then started singing the most heart filled song.
