Finally it arrived. The day of the wedding. Ginger could not be more excited. She was about to become Mrs. Roy Hinkley, Jr.! She was marrying her darling Professor! A dream come true indeed. She Ginger Grant was going to marry the man of her dreams! How lucky was she to have been shipwrecked with someone like the Professor! What luck to have decided to take that trip on the Minnow! Storm or no storm she would do it all over again as long as she had her wonderful Roy. No one could ever take him away from her. Nothing was going to keep them apart.

Speaking of which, there was no news of Diana/Eva. The police did find both abandoned cars but there was no sign of the blonde. The owner of the black car was none to happy at the damage his priceless sports car received and vowed the perpetrator would pay and pay big! The Nuns were aghast at the extensive damage to their van. Ginger offered to pay for the damage but the sisters would not hear of it. It was not her fault and they held her blameless. They were happy that she was okay and offered a blessing on her wedding.

Right now that was the farthest thing from her mind. All she was concentrating on was the beautiful ceremony that was going to be taking place. Her gown was amazing! Monica did a fabulous job and she could not be happier with the results. Off the shoulder like she wanted. Roy needed to be able to nuzzle her neck. She giggled to herself. The skirt was full and had light crystal blue sashes sewn across. White roses were carefully placed between as well.

Mary Ann was standing behind her wearing her bridesmaid gown which was a beautiful off white gown with a colorful flower print. She was brushing Ginger's redhair and sweeping it up on top of her head. "You are going to look so good." The brunette smiled. "The Professor is going to go crazy over you."

Ginger smiled. "I hope so."

Jessica laughed as she fastened a diamond earring to her own ears. "Are you kidding me? Ever since you returned from the island I don't think he's ever taken his hands off of you!

Mary Ann smirked. "He never took his hands off her before we got back."

"Oh hush!" Ginger said swatting the farm girl.

Mrs. Howell emerged looking elegant in her light blue silk blouse and matching pants. A beautiful blue hat from Paris adorned her head. "Oh Ginger you look beautiful." She commented.

"Thank you." The redhead smiled as she stood up. "Okay let's get my dress on!"

Joan and Jessica picked it up from the bed and carefully unzipped it from the garment bag. Everyone gushed at how gorgeous it was and even more so when Ginger was zipped into it. She stood in front of them and smiled. "Let's get me married!"

The group headed down the stairs and to the limo that Pierce had waiting for them.

The women piled in and off to the church they went. Ginger gazed out the window smiling. She could not wait for Roy to see her! She couldn't wait to see him in his tux. He was sure to look so handsome!

The limo arrived at the church and they climbed out heading into the bridal room.

Ginger touched up her make-up a bit and checked to make sure her hair was perfect.

It was then time to begin. The bridesmaids made their way down the aisle. Gilligan watched Mary Ann in her gown and thought she looked beautiful. She smiled at him as she walked over to the left side of the altar.

Soon everyone rose as the music changed and Ginger made her way down the aisle on the arm of her father. The Professor could not keep his eyes away. Never did he see her look as beautiful as she did at that moment. Princess was not the word. Not even queen. Goddess. Goddess was a good word to describe the vision coming towards him.

Ginger arrived at the altar and her father kissed her cheek before going to sit in the front pew. The redhead linked her arm with the Professor's and the ceremony commenced. Ginger's heart was beating so fast and the excitement she was feeling was amazing. It was actually happening! All the months of agonizing was over!

The minister then asked the couple to join hands. Ginger handed her bouquet to Mary Ann and placed her hands in the Professor's.

Father Martin talked about how wonderful an occasion it was and how blessed these two were brought together. Ginger nodded in agreement.

It was then time for the rings and the vows. Through tears of joy Ginger said "With this ring…I be wed. I love you so much Roy. I swear I will be a great wife. I promise."

The Professor smiled. "I love you Ginger." He stated. "And with this ring I be wed."

Father Martin pronounced them husband and wife and declared the academic could kiss the bride. The Professor placed his hands on Ginger's delicate face and kissed her pink lips. She circled her arms around him tightly and the kiss seemed to go on for a long long time. It finally did break and they headed back up the aisle.

Mary Ann smiled as she watched her two fellow ex-castaways. So happy for them. Ginger deserved the Professor. He was a good man and he loved her so very much. There were plenty of times the farm girl thought of trying to match those two up in someway.

There were no two people who were more perfect for each other then Ginger Grant and Roy Hinkley. Well maybe her and Gilligan. She looked over at the sailor thinking of her own wedding that would take place in a few months.

The guests made their way out of the church and headed to the reception being held at the Howells' country club. Everything looked gorgeous. Tables with crisp white linen. Sparkling crystal glasses. Shiny silverware and creamy white plates. A polished hardwood floor and beautiful white flowers all over the room.

Everyone took their seats and Ginger and the Professor were announced. The starlet kissed her new husband before they took their seat at their table.

Mr. Howell stood up holding his champagne glass. "Everyone I would like to propose a toast….To Ginger and Roy…I wish you both the best. I hope that you are as happy as Lovey and I are. Many blessings on your union!"

Everyone cheered and sipped their champagne. The band then began to play and the newlyweds made their way to the dance floor. Ginger picked the song Strangers In the Night by Frank Sinatra. She felt the song fitted her and her love. They were strangers before falling completely in love.

As she danced with her husband she felt overwhelmed with joy. He truly was everything she could ever dream of. The men she dated in the past could not compare. They were no good louses who never cared about her. Not the way the Professor did. He treated her like a person. He cared about her thoughts and opinions. How lucky could she get!
She then giggled feeling him nuzzling her neck. "Roy…really…..you are way too obsessed with my perfume…."

"You love it." He replied not letting go. "That's why you are wearing this type of dress and your hair is up." His lips just barely touched her skin and she sighed.

Later on it was time to throw the bouquet and she aimed it in the direction of her sister who caught it. Jessica laughed and asked Roy for the phones numbers of his single friends. He joked and said he would warn them all she was looking. Ginger shook her head and told him to be nice to his new sister in law. The Professor kissed his bride and told her he was the luckiest man in the world.

Everyone had a terrific time. Jessica did dance with a few colleagues of the Professors who were very nice and also some friends of the Skipper and the Skipper himself. She told him he was a dear man and was happy he was there on the island helping to keep her baby sister safe. Jonas confessed to her that he did have a thing for the redhead as she was so beautiful but knew that it was never to be. Jessica assured him he would find that someone special someday to which he was appreciative of.

Mary Ann lured Gilligan to the dance floor and held him tight. She told him she could not wait for their own wedding. How wonderful it would be! The farm girl decided she did want to have it in Kansas on their farm which Gilligan thought was a swell idea.

The Summers had a huge barn that could be used for the ceremony and their were plenty of acres for the reception to be held. Mary Ann was also thrilled that her Aunt Susan was allowing her to wear her gown for the wedding. The brunette had always admired it. It was a bit old fashioned but that's what she loved about it. Her own mother had also worn that same gown for her own wedding and was proud that her daughter was following the tradition.

The party was coming to and end and Ginger thanked everyone for being there. She hugged her family and her friends tightly. The newlyweds got into their limo and headed off. Ginger leaned over and kissed her husband. 'I love you." She purred as she kissed him yet again. "I can't wait to show you just how much…" Her lips touched his once more and he then smiled at her.
She snuggled up to him and noticed they turned down a different road. "Darling where are we going? This is not the way to my house…."

"My love yes it is." He replied.

"No darling the driver should have turned the other way…Driver…" She said leaning towards the front.

The Professor pulled her back. "We are going the right way."

The redhead was puzzled and wondered what was going on. The limo pulled up a long drive and came to a stop. Ginger looked out the window at beautiful cream colored house. The door the to the limo opened and she stepped out followed by the Professor.
"What is this?" The actress asked. "Where are we?"
Her eyes took in the surroundings. A beautiful water fountain sat in the front with different colored flowers. The lawn was lush and green. It was obviously well attended to along with the other flower beds and the different shrubbery. The house had a huge porch which reminded her of the one from Tara in Gone With The Wind. She had always wanted a porch like that. It was amazing.

The Professor took her hand and led her over to the huge white door. He opened it and swept up Ginger in his arms.

"What are you…" She asked. "Roy…"

He carried her inside and carefully set her down. He closed the door and Ginger was still confused. "Roy…what is going on? Why are we here?"

"My beautiful wife….This is our new home."

Ginger could not believe it. She looked around at the elegant antique furniture. She then took notice of the huge portrait of herself hanging in the stairwell. Her eyes went wide.
"Roy…I…."

"You like it?" He asked his breath on the skin of her neck.

Tears came to her eyes. "I…I love it…You did this for me?"

"I thought we should have a place we can all ours. All ours. Mr. Howell happened being selling and I gave an offer and…well this is our new home."

Ginger smiled and turned to him. "Oh darling….you are so wonderful! I love you!" She threw her arms around him kissing him passionately. She let go and gazed at her husband. "So this is why you said you couldn't move in with me? You were planning this the whole time?"

"I wanted it to be a surprise." He said gently touching her cheek.

"It certainly is." Ginger said with a laugh. "I can't believe you did this! Oh I want to see more.." She started to walk away but felt a tug on her arm.

"Why don't we start with the upstairs…" He said with a certain look in his eyes.

Ginger grinned. "I would love to."

The Professor picked her up again and carried her up the staircase and to the second floor. He brought her down the hallway and to the master bedroom. Ginger could not believe how gorgeous it was. All done in reds with cream carpet. So elegant and classy.

The starlet was set down and she could not stop beaming at the scholar. "This is incredible. Darling this house…it's gorgeous…You really did this for me?"

"With a little help from Mrs. Howell." He smiled. "She did the decorating."

"She did a wonderful job." Ginger said approvingly. She then moved closer to the Professor. "So what do we do now?"

"I can think of something…" He said carefully removing her veil and setting it down on the floor. The hairpins were removed and her hair cascaded down to her shoulders.
She was then pulled close and he brought his lips to hers. Ginger circled her arms around him tightly giving into his kiss. As usual a millions sparks shot through to her core. Her hands then began unbuttoning his white shirt and it was soon peeled off.

Her dress was carefully unzipped and slowly removed from her body.

The Professor picked her up and placed her down on the king sized bed kissing her softly. He then brushed her hair back from her cheek. "I love you. I will always love you. There will never be anyone in my life but you. No matter where we are. On that island or off the island. You are all I want and need. I'm glad that I can give you this home to live in. You should have a something special."

"I love you too Roy. And I know that I will never want anyone in my life but you." She whispered. "And I love this house. It's perfect. I love that you love me so much that…You would go through all this trouble just for me…." She choked up and continued. "No one ever loved me this much before."

Their lips met once again and their firey passion was ignited as they held each other tight.

The moonlight shined though the window and onto their bed as Ginger happily laid against her husband. His arm was around her and he was gently touching her hair.

Her hand was placed on his chest as her head on his shoulder. She didn't say anything. She just wanted to bask in the moment. She and Roy have of course made love before but for some reason it seemed different this time. This time she was his wife. They were spending their life together. He would be with her for the rest of her life. No more would she agonize about not having him in her home. Feel the twinge of sadness when he would leave in the morning. She would not have to feel that anymore.

The Professor looked down at his wife appreciating the happy blissful expression on her face. She deserved to be this happy. "My love.' He said.

"Hmmm…" She murmured.

"I have something I want to show you."

"Darling again?" She giggled.

He shook his head. "No not…..my love I wasn't talking about…I meant something else."

"Oh." Ginger said sitting up. "What is it?"

The Professor picked up a robe sitting on a chair and pulled it on. He then went to a closet and handed Ginger a silk white robe. She tied it on and he took her hand leading her out of the bedroom. They went up one floor and to a door.

He opened it and Ginger stepped inside. She could not speak. The emotions she felt were indescribable. She walked carefully over to the wooden crib and looked down inside seeing a multi-colored patch puppy. There was also a mobile hanging with little brown puppies. Her mind could picture the little baby laying in that crib. Slowly the actress walked to a rocking chair that had been painted a light purple. She imagined rocking her new baby in that chair. There were several different animal toys on the shelves and the wallpaper was Mickey Mouse and his friends.

With tears in her eye she turned to the Professor. "I love you. I love you so much.." The tears spilled out as she could not believe how much love she was feeling for him at that moment.

"I thought this would make the perfect nursery for our children. I take it you approve."

"Approve? Darling this marvelous! It's absolutely perfect! Our children….Children? Did you say…children?"

"Of course." He said taking her in his arms. "I assume you want a large family."

Ginger giggled wiping her tears of joy. "Yes I do! I want a lot of kids! Oh darling!" She hugged him tightly. "This is everything I could want."

"You deserve it." He said holding her. He then kissed the top of her head. "My love what do you say we get back to um…insuring that this nursery gets used properly…."

"Professor…what you said!" She said pretending to be scandalized.

He kissed her again and lead her out of the nursery and back to their master bedroom.

The door was shut behind them. Their lips were pressed together in a deep kiss and they landed back on their bed with the moon shining brightly on them.
