Two years later.

Welcome to Forkshire. That was what the sign indicated. Only, this time, Edward was pleased to be back.

This time there was a spring in his step, instead of dragging his feet. He was desperate to get home to see his wife and his son. He was thinking how much his life changed since he came back from Rhodesia, more than two years ago. Well, it wasn't only his life or Bella's, it was the whole town.

After Alice's trial, which lasted a month, he and Emmett rushed the girls to get finally a wedding date. Renee, Esme and Tanya were vying for a Christmas wedding, but his unbearable desire to be with Bella, and an impending journey to Rhodesia to settle his business there, make him push the wedding to October. They left the winter wedding for Emmett and Rosalie.

Edward remembered how beautiful Bella looked in her white satin dress, like the angel he knew she was. Their wedding was very simple, only family and close friends attended, much to Mrs. Stanley and the Duchess chagrin.

Then they left for they honeymoon to Rhodesia. He spent the time showing Bella the beauty of the country and loving her madly. Forty-five days later they were back, with Bella pregnant. Eight months later they welcomed Ethan Phillip Masen, his son.

He smiled, recalling how chaotic those first days back were. He and Emmett had a lot of work, to get the company going without any of the shady business Carlisle conducted. Then Bella had awful mood swings, and she developed a fear of loosing him, because he had to travel frequently. He talked to Emmett, and decided that one day trips were enough for clearing the mess Carlisle left.

Edward was so lost in his memories, he didn't notice the tall man, coming in his bicycle to him.

"Hey Masen! Glad to see you here." Demetri smiled to him. "Your wife is at my house, helping Tanya with some baby stuff."

Ah Demetri! Edward smiled to him. Tanya and Demetri got married at the court-house, a week after Alice's trial. They have a small house near Edward's own. Tanya just got pregnant, and she was confined to her home, because Demetri wanted to spoil her after all her suffering at Carlisle's hands. All the ladies were delighted with this turn of events, and Bella was hoping for another boy to play with little Ethan.

"Really?" Edward was hoping for a little alone time with Bella, maybe he could leave Ethan with Renee...

"Come on, give me your suitcase." Demetri tied it to his bicycle. "Now, come on. Your wife and Esme are cooking, and I'm really hungry."

Demetri was a quiet man, so the road to their home passed in silence, letting Edward get lost in his thoughts. He recalled the trial. Alice admitted she was guilty, but until the end, she begged Jasper for forgiveness. He never gave it to her. She was sentenced to spend her life in prison, but six months later, when she realized she would never get anything from Jasper, she committed suicide. Esme, Helen and Didyme were the only people present at her funeral.

Now Esme Platt, that woman was really a saint. Not only she forgave Alice, she brought her dresses and food to prison. She said it was the least she could do for her, after all, she took care of Alice since she was a child. When Alice died, Esme took Kate under her wing, and they traveled a lot. It was after one long cruise that Kate met her husband, Caius. He was a science professor, but when they met it was love at first sight. He came to live here in Forkshire, and he teach biology and chemistry at Esme's school.

Ah, the school! Esme thought that the Cullen's house was too big for her alone, so she talked with Renee and both decided to make the house a boarding school for young girls. Renee and Esme had the right personality to direct the school, and they got Kate and her husband to teach there.

Kate changed a lot after her mother's demise. She was too scared to live alone, and felt that the whole world was on her shoulders. Esme talked to her; and it turned out that Kate was fluent in French and Italian, which was the excuse Esme used to get Kate to travel with her. After meeting her husband, Kate decided to teach languages at Esme's school.

Edward noticed they were finally at Demetri's home. Emmett beat up Ford model T car was parked, so he knew Rosalie was there, maybe he could get her to take Ethan home with her...

"Edward, you're here!" That sweet voice was his reward at the end of the day, no matter how difficult or stressing that day was.

"Love." He got Bella in his arms and kissed her. He didn't care if they have public watching them. She was wife and he missed her.

"Hmm. I missed you so much..." the kiss was getting out of control if only Edward could get her alone... "but everybody is here." Bella pushed him back. "Come on, Alec is back and brought the most disgusting mask from Japan."

"For Jasper?"

"Yes. I don't think he will keep it, but who knows?"

Jasper had changed a lot in these two years. He was truly depressed after what happened with Alice, and during the trial he got to drink so much... Finally, it was Uncle Aro who took him aside and told him he was going directly to ruin. Aro forced him to take some time away to clear his head. Jasper used the time to go to Surrey and stayed in Aro's home. In that time he developed a great friendship with Alec. Both tormented each other with pranks now and then, and now they were back in Forkshire, still pranking into each other. Jasper is still the town's Doctor, and he also is still single... he and Alec are courting the Black's sisters, yes Constable Black sisters. Everybody was vying for a conjoint wedding on spring.

Uncle Aro and Aunt Didyme decided to come to live here with their girls. They brought Alec with them and settled in with Renee. Aro is the administrator of the school and Didyme also teaches home economics in there. Both are pushing Jasper and Alec to propose but the guys were taking their time.

When Edward came into the house, he was astonished to see how many people he could consider his family. Aro, Didyme and Rose were playing with baby Ethan. Esme and Renee were pushing Tanya to seat and lift her feet, claiming it would make her feel better. Alec was showing the hideous mask to Demetri and Emmett, while Jasper was trying to hide it from everyone's view. Kate came with Caius, both were smiling at Jasper's antics. Then he turned back, when he heard more voices coming to the house. Helen, Charlie and Robert Webber were coming with a cake. Edward knew hewas blessed.

He felt a soft hand caressing his cheek, his beautiful wife was calling for his attention.

"I though it would be better if we got together at Tanya's house, so we could leave early. My mother wants to have Ethan to spend the night with her. what do you think?"

He pulled her into his arms and gave her an earth-shattering kiss. "I think I have the wisest wife in the whole world."

He tried to kiss her again, but she put her little finger in his mouth.

"Wait, I have news."

"Tell me, sweet girl."

"It seems you're going to be a father again."

Edward smiled, his wife never stopped surprising him. He kissed her again, not minding the chorus of voices inside the house that were calling to them.
