Chapter 24: Golden

STORY START

It was early morning and the sun has yet to rise over Camp Half-Blood and yet already five people were already awake and about. Naruto was the first to awaken meditating as usual to control his magical stores; Saber was simply staring off into the distance preparing herself for battle reminiscing of times past. Medusa and Tamamo were also awake but were opting to take a bath together to which they invited Naruto to join them earning them a blush from Naruto along with a refusal from him. Clarisse was in her cabin grabbing a few weapons for herself before going off to meet Naruto and Saber at the docks.

It would be a few minutes before the sun as fully risen signaling that the quest team meets up at the docks of the camp.

"Good morning Clarisse did you sleep well?" Naruto greeted Clarisse as she approached him and Saber.

"Yeah I did. Hey I kinda got this dream form my dad and he gave me some things we can use for the quest should we use it now?" Clarisse said as she explained to Naruto and Saber the dream she had along with the items she got from Ares.

"Save it for some other time. Who knows when those might come in handy again but for now we will use my means of transportation along with some undead crew to fulfill prophecy" Naruto said as he prepared to summon the Vimana once again.

"Wait you can summon the undead I thought only the children of Hades could do that?" Clarisse asked shocked she had known of his proficiency for magic but she wasn't aware that necromancy was part of it.

"Yes I can do so as well as my mother Hecate however it is not a skill we use often because it can clash with the realm of Lord Hades and cause conflict between my Mom and Lord Hades." Naruto said and just as he finished speaking a low rumble could be heard from underground. Skeletal hands burst from the ground like something one would in a horror movie. Once the skeletons have emerged from the ground fully the girls could see them in full view. They were exactly like how one would picture a skeleton somehow kept together without any tendons and the face rather than a skull was a huge gaping mouth that belonged to a carnivore of some kind.(A/N: Caster's skeletons from F/S N: UBW)

"Whoa that is freaking cool." Clarisse couldn't help but comment out her thoughts mirrored by Saber. Hey it was a cool thing to have an army but to have an undead army was even better.

"Well come on were burning daylight here let's get a move on shall we?" Naruto said as he was now seated on the Vimana's throne chair waiting for his two traveling companions to come with him.

Eventually boarding the Vimana Clarisse and Saber took flanking positions beside the chair of Naruto unable to sit anywhere on the Vimana without risk of falling off. Seeing this Naruto created some chairs that magically stuck to the hull of the Vimana for Clarisse and Saber to sit on earning nods of appreciation from the two.

"Hey Naruto can I ask you a question? Why did you leave Percy at camp not that I'm complaining or anything it's just that nobody would do that especially since he was a son of Poseidon and Chiron kinda did favor him." Clarisse asked with curiosity a few minutes into the trip.

"He was being a bigger brat than usual he should know better by now that not everything will go his way just because he wishes it or thinks it. I should have known better than to expect a good acceptance from Percy anyway it seems that his first quest had gone straight to his head clouding his better judgment." Naruto scoffed out he really did expect this to happen especially when everyone had praised the boy a little too much after he finished the last quest since the one before Percy's failed miserably.

"Clearly the boy has no respect for authority why was it not addressed earlier than this?" Saber chimed in interested in the subject as well. If Percy was like this since his first quest why had no one rectified it at all yet this troubled her somewhat was the camp so inept as to allow a camper to become this rebellious? In her time such acts were not permitted at all and were punished severely.

"Not that I hold anything against Chiron but he prefers to let it be unless it comes to the point that other campers would actually be harmed from it is my guess but I could be wrong. It is also a factor that his father Lord Poseidon is a powerful deity at no one save a few would dare oppose. " Naruto said calmly answering Sabers question.

"I see well hopefully with your punishment I hope his personality improves after all it creates divisions with a group if one person refuses to follow certain rules and hierarchy" Saber commented with Naruto and Clarisse nodding to her words.

"I hope so to Saber I really hope he improves or it will be a huge pain if he doesn't" Naruto said resting his head on his fist.

A few minutes Naruto, Saber, and Clarisse felt a shiver run through their bodies as they passed closer to the Bermuda triangle or better yet known to them as the sea of monsters.

"What was that?" Clarisse asked Naruto as she felt the shiver run through her body.

"A magical barrier cast over the area don't worry it's nothing to worry about" Naruto said as they proceeded onwards to their destination.

"A magical barrier surrounding what exactly?" Saber questioned.

"The sea of monsters." Naruto said calmly his face not betraying any emotion at all.

"I see so we have arrived at our destination." Saber said as she looked onwards spotting a few islands up ahead.

"Yes however we have a few pit stops first" Naruto said.

"Pit stops? I thought we were here for the Fleece only?" Clarisse asked confused.

"Yes we will first be visiting my step sister in the area" Naruto said earning him the stares of his traveling companions.

"You have a sister?" Clarisse asked incredulously

"Please explain to us clearly Naruto" Saber added in before Naruto could reply to Clarisse's question.

"Yeah my sister from a long time ago the daughter of Hecate the bewitcher of men the sorceress Circe" Naruto said as he gave his sister her introduction. Regardless of what she has done she was his sister and he was proud of her after all she was feared by a lot of people that enchants heroes making demigods weary of her and that was a good thing for Naruto.

"Are you sure we should be going to see her Naruto? After all she does have a reputation for turning men into pigs you know." Clarisse asked with a raised eyebrow after all it was not that surprising to her that Naruto had such family.

"Yeah she won't be turning me we have a strong bond after all I just have to drop of some of her gifts from mom than we'll be off to Polyphemus's island." Naruto said with a smirk as he sped up the Vimana towards Circe's island which came up on sight.

It took just a few more minutes for them to land on Circe's island. From their vantage point they could see that all of the residents of the island were women.

"Brother! So nice of you to come I haven't seen you in quite a while" They all heard a voice come from the crowd. It was a woman with dark colored hair a pair of green eyes a shade or two darker than Percy's.

"Circe always a pleasure to be here I hope you have been well?" Naruto asked as he greeted his ancient sister with a hug which she returned.

"Of course brother dear I hope the outside world has been entertaining to you after all I remember how you were such a child who was easily bored by anything not related to you" Circe said with a teasing grin on her face.

"Please don't mention it after all what could possibly be more interesting then family." Naruto retorted to which Circe had to nod.

"Indeed brother dear though enough of that what are you doing here I was informed you were taking care of that daycare camp" Circe asked with a teasing smirk on her face.

"Hmm it seems mom told you huh? Anyways she told me to drop of some of her gifts to you since it was on my way to the fleece after all" Naruto said as he presented her with a parcel he had gotten from Hecate.

"Oh my it seems mom got me the potions I asked for huh? Thanks for bringing them bro" Circe said as she hugged her brother after getting the parcel.

"Now do you want to rest a bit before going on your journey or are you leaving right away?" Circe asked.

"Actually there is one other thing Lady Hera has asked me to get Hylla and Reyna out of your island as she believes them to have some part in the future to come." Naruto said in a whisper which only Circe could hear.

Nodding she gave him her consent and left to go get the girls Naruto asked for.

"What was that about Naruto?" Clarisse asked as she raised an eyebrow at the secretive actions of the siblings.

"Nothing for you to be worried about don't worry about it" Naruto said trying to distract them from the subject.

Seeing Naruto trying to change the topic Clarisse and Saber decided to drop the subject. Hey if Naruto said they didn't need to be worried then they really didn't it just must be one of his secrets is all.

A few minutes later Circe came walking back towards them with two girls in tow.

"Naruto these are the ones you asked for." Circe said as she presented the girls to him.

Both of them looked similar in appearance hinting they must be related to one another.

One was around sixteen with piercing black eyes and glossy black hair this was Reyna.

The other girl was also around sixteen with a darker shade of black eyes and her dark colored hair was longer than Reyna's this was her sister Hylla.

"Girls say hello to my brother Naruto" Circe commanded to the two sisters.

"Hello Lord Naruto." The two sisters greeted and bowed only to be stopped by Naruto himself.

"None of that now I believe you are wondering why I asked for you two yes? Well suffice to say Lady Juno has requested your presence elsewhere" Naruto said and as he did brought out two peacock feathers from his pocket and handed them to the girls.

"Those are from Lady Juno they will take you to where she wills to take you. Do not ask me where for I cannot disclose the location at the time but rest assured you will be safe." Naruto explained the use of the peacock feathers as the two sisters looked at each other than back to Naruto and nodded their heads to him in thanks.

"Thank you Lord Naruto we will do our best to please Lady Juno" the two sisters said before they used the feathers and were teleported of to their locations set by Juno.

"Well sister I will be off now take care of yourself." Naruto said as he hugged Circe one last time before he left once again.

"You to brother I know Mom worries about you and from what I can foresee of the future you will face Herakles again and whether or not the outcome will change is unknown to me as well." Circe warns Naruto who simply accepts the warning with a nod.

Parting ways Naruto headed back towards the Vimana where Clarisse and Saber where waiting for him having gotten bored of waiting for Naruto to conclude his business.

"Can we go yet or do we have more reunions to go?" Clarisse asked slightly put off at the delay for some action making Naruto chuckle.

"No, no we can go now and get that blood lust out of your system hm. It should be interesting to watch at the very least" Naruto said as he got back on the Vimana steering it towards the island of Polyphemus.
