Restarting with the DEAD chapter 14
L.T: Heey, so I've been thinking about this chapter, and I've come to a decision! I will keep writing this until the next season comes out in English dubbed, then create a second series version of this! Thanks again to my Beta –reader, Dezmoonbear, who has once again done a fantastic job, and let's keep working together, hmm?

"Really!? Want me to invite it in for a drink?!" I hissed. "Saeko, we have to get out of here! Now!"
But… How? How could we get out, and save our friends? Could we even save ourselves…? Was the thoughts that raced through my mind little did I know that this was one battle that could cost us everything we'd done to survive...

HOTEL ROOM 299 (TAKASHI'S P.O.V)
I darted around the room, stealthily grabbing my clothes and dressing. Thank God Rei or Takagi hadn't seen that, I thought. Finally, I shoved my feet into my Vans, and grabbed my axe-bat.
Saeko finally woke fully and dressed herself. She walked over to the door then silently peeked out of the door.
"R rrrrr..." Closing it, she apologized. "You were right, Takashi. There are four of 'them' I could see. There may be more elsewhere. What's our plan?"
(add a thought and describe his concerns)"Well, all we can do is gather as many of the others as we can, without attracting attention and then get the hell outta Dodge. If we can get out of the hotel and take a car or van."
Saeko picked up her blade-edged bokken. Silently we slid out of the door and made our way as quietly as possible along the hall to Kohta and Yamada's room. Knocking quietly, (describe the meeting. what was said, Kohta and Yamada's reaction reactions etc) we got them to listen, and arranged to meet in the lobby in ten minutes. The same thing happened with Yuuki Miku, Takagi and Shizuka-sensei. The only one missing was Rei.
"Um, I think she went downstairs," the busty blonde nurse offered, looking a bit bemused.
Following her vague advice, I decided to check the ground floor, Saeko close behind, her face serious. Stepping downwards, we tiptoed through the almost-deserted lobby. Three of 'them'. I immediately saw how the dead had gotten in, and cursed myself. I knew I should have locked the van, but I hadn't known this could happen. Suffice it to say, that was one mistake I wouldn't make again in a hurry.
Saeko dashed forward, her hair flying. As she leapt into the air above her target, I lashed out at the nearest one, cutting him open down the middle, then reversing my swing and splitting his skull open from the chin upwards. Looking around I saw Saeko-chan slicing through the final horror, I grabbed a pen, scribbling a quick note for anyone we left in case the worst happened. Putting it down with a faint 'Click!' I turned, scanning the hall for anything we could take. Seeing nothing, I gently took my girlfriend's hand, sneaking over to the van doors, creeping out into the streets.
Spotting a toppled bike, I hurried over to it. A Honda CBR1000 Fireblade! These were my favourite bikes to ride! I'd done a part-time competitive riding gig for a while, whenever I visited my uncle. I checked the ignition. The keys were still in it. Righting it, I kicked out the stand. Leaving Saeko to guard it, I hunted out a small van, one of those anonymous white numbers, and loaded all the gear we'd brought with us, except for our weapons.
The others turned up, but Rei wasn't among them. Kohta and Yamada went back to grab the rest of the stuff. As I started heading back to see if I could find my ex-girlfriend, I heard a 'CRASH!' from out in the street. Shizuka-sensei had dropped a wine bottle, and the smashing glass and her squeal of outrage had snared the attention of every single one of those undead, brain-eating, skull-humping fuckers within a mile.
"Shizuka-sensei, get in the van, and we'll meet up at your friend's! You know the way, and I know where it is, you gave me the address! I'll take Saeko-chan and follow you! Sensei, you take them straight there! We'll look for Rei! GO!"
Kicking the stand closed, I thumbed the button and revved the Fireblade. Saeko jumped onto the back, and we roared away down the main street, away from that accursed hotel. Saeko and I had nothing but our weapons, bike, and the clothes on our backs. We were moving targets, and we needed a place to stock up. Nothing around here was untouched, though. The stores we checked were empty, everything untaken destroyed.
Stopping at a gas-station, I rummaged through my pockets, looking for cash. Nothing, zip, nada. Sheepishly I looked at Saeko. Not like I wanted to borrow anything on a first date now. That was not the impression I wanted to make. I thought.
"The bike's low on gas. Got any cash I can borrow?"
She shook her head, but pointed into the store. "Why not go and break the register open?"
Pausing, I opened my mouth, and then shut it. She was right, why didn't I do that? The world is ending and I'm worried I'll look bad in front of my girlfriend, for being broke. I really need to get my priorities in order, I chuckled to myself
Walking off, I slipped into the deserted store, eyes scanning the darkness. Utterly empty. Bottles and packet littered the floor, but no zombies. Stopping by the till, I raised the bat. As I brought it down, I jarred the disk-saw blade loose. I didn't care, though. The heavy blow had split the frame, scattering buttons and screws everywhere. The top fell off, and I began stuffing my pockets with banknotes and coins.
"Eyahh, Takashi!"
My girlfriend's cry stopped me in my tracks. Turning to the front, I strained my eyes, but she wasn't there. As I grabbed one last wad of cash, my gaze fell on the shelf under the counter. I reached out. A stun gun...
As I fumbled with a lever, the bottom clicked out. Two needles. Slipping the gun into my belt, I sprinted out of the store, and froze. Saeko's bokken lay a few feet from her, and she had... a black eye. She looked dazed, and was being pinned against the chest of some crazy, bear-sized thug. He had … He had a knife to her throat.
"LET GO OF HER!" I roared, sprinting forwards, but he made to cut her. I stopped.
"You… put the money you got from the store in the pump, fill up the bike, and walk away…"
"What the fuck, man?! You fuckin' crazy, or something?!"
The thug looked at me, threw back his head, and spluttered with laughter, his dagger pressed against Saeko's pale skin.
"Crazy?! Hell yeah, I'm crazy! I killed my mom, my dad and grandma... even my little sister. I smashed their heads open, and then left them to die! OF COURSE I'M FUCKIN' CRAZY!"
I raised my bat, but he dug the blade into my girl's neck, drawing blood.
"Stay the fuck where you are, and drop the bat!"
Tossing it away, I waited. The metal clanged on the tarmac like a bell... a dinner bell...
