TAKASHI'S P.O.V
"Oh shit, oh shitohshitohshit…" I stared around between shells, my shotgun booming loud and angry. Hordes of Them, the creatures we'd tried so hard to avoid, were closing in on us. The wires stretched across the street were going to be our downfall. Pathetic, right? After so much sweat and effort, a few strings of metal were going to finish us. Arisu was helping Kohta by handing him fresh clips, Yuuji Maresato was using the crossbow, since he was the only one of us strong enough to cock it, Rei was still winded and sitting up against the wires, using them to support herself while she shot.
Even with all our strength, we could only hold out a little longer. Even our swordmistress was flagging, her bokken moving slower. She was still cleaving heads and removing the tops of skulls, but it was a drop of blood in the ocean of the damned surging towards us. I sighed. The only way out was to draw as many of them away as I could, and hopefully my friends could make an escape.
There was one problem. I couldn't do it alone. Grabbing Saeko's hand, we slashed and clubbed our way over to a flight of stairs up to a higher part of the pavement. "Hey! Over here, you undead fuckwits!" I yelled, and a few of Them turned. Not enough to make a difference. Lifting a new metal baseball bat from the weapons we'd gathered, I slammed it down on some railings, making a loud metallic clang echo out, drawing much more attention. Better. "OVER HERE! COME GET ME, YOU STUPID BITING FREAKS! I'M GONNA KILL ALL OF YOU IF YOU PISS ME OFF ANY MORE, YOU FLESH-EATING SACKS OF SHIT!"
That did it. With howls and groans, all but a few swivelled and turned on me, as I pounded the railings again, then threw a glass bottle through a window. With Them in pursuit, Saeko and I sprinted off, making noise now and then to keep them coming after us.

ARISU'S P.O.V
While big brother Takashi and big sis Saeko made the bad ones chase them, big brother Kohta and big sis Saya were fighting some who didn't go away. Daddy tried to get me to climb through the strings stopping the car, but I stayed. "I don't want to be alone, daddy! I wanna stay! With you, and the brothers and sisters and auntie Shizuka!"
He smiled sadly. "Okay, pumpkin." He reloaded the funny gun he was holding. It was a 'cross bow', although it didn't seem very angry. Kohta said, "too many tangos, I can't tag 'em all! Need a re-up, Arisu!" that was my job, feeding Kohta's gun, so I grabbed the things with metal French fries in and handed them up. "No more gun food, big brother Kohta!" I called up as he took them. "thanks, poppet!" he dropped an empty one and put the full one in. the gun must really like the food, but it must have lots of seeds in, because it kept spitting them at the bad things outside the car.
Daddy's angry weapon spat a stick at one of the bad things, and it fell over. "Yay, daddy!" I cheered, hugging Zeke. He licked my face, and it tickled. But, even with all the guns spitting seeds at the bad monsters, it wasn't enough. I looked out of the window through the strings that stopped our car, and saw people in funny clothes and yellow fireman hats, carrying long shower pips. They rested them on the strings and sprayed loads of water at the monsters, who fell over. One of the fireman hat people put a ladder over, so we could all come to them. "Don't worry about your car, we'll collect it later!" one of the new people said, taking her hat off. She was really pretty, with long purple hair. Big sister Saya screamed, "Mommy!" "Saya! My daughter!" the purple lady hugged big sister Saya, and then, we went back to a big castle where Saya lived with her mommy and daddy!
There were lots of people there, but most of the people who worked for Saya's mommy and daddy were wearing school uniforms. Saya said they were 'reetayners', who said that they would help, and lived in the castle too! Big brother Takashi and big sis Saeko were still playing tag with the monsters, but I was okay. They were too fast for those dumb monsters to catch! And now I'm gonna go eat cake!
