Hello all of my lovely readers! Woah! So many updates this week! X3 Well, I've been in the writing mood a lot lately so why not put it to good use and update these stories for ya. :D
So anyways, enjoy!
Sasori dug through his pockets and handed his tattered raven haired friend some money. "Here. Take it."
Itachi looked down at the money and gave a weak smile to Sasori. "Thank you." He said in a raspy voice. He coughed to clear his throat before grunting as the pain from coughing due to his cracked ribs left him bed ridden. He sighed once the pain started to fade. "Hn. Kisame, will you please go into town and buy some rice and food?" He asked, his onyx eyes flicking over to the pale blue skinned man sitting in the corner of the room, sitting at a table.
Kisame looked up from his book and nodded. "Of course, Itachi. Whatever ya need." He offered Itachi a toothy grin as the younger male handed him some money for the food. He placed a tender kiss on the raven's forehead and muttered something to him before smiling and leaving.
"Oh, hi Kisame." Konan smiled at the shark like man as she passed him, entering the house Itachi was held up in. She frowned and bit her lips as she examined Itachi's body. "Oh honey, you look awful."
Itachi shrugged and looked up at the bluenette. "I'll be fine." He gestured to Sasori. "This is my colleague, Sasori."
Konan shook Sasori's hand and nodded. "Nice to meet you." She frowned and placed her hands on her hips. "Will you please tell the board of directors that they must take some responsibilities for Itachi? They shouldn't just abandon him like this."
Sasori nodded. "Sure, I'll tell them."
Konan smiled at the red head. "Thank you." She kneeled down beside Itachi and set her basket of medicine down. "I didn't know how bad you would be so I brought a little of everything I thought you might need." She said, taking out some pain pills and handing them to the raven haired male.
Itachi held out the rest of the money Sasori had given him. "Here, this is for the medicine. I don't want you to waste your resources on me without getting paid for your loss."
Konan shook her head and pushed the money away. "No, hun. You keep it. Really, it's no waste to me if it's helping you. Just take it; I know you didn't get paid yesterday so you'll need every penny you can get."
Itachi stared at the woman for a moment before tightening his grip on the money and giving a curt nod. He looked away and took the medicine, swallowing the pills and muttering a quiet 'thank you'.
Sasori stood up and nodded to Konan, figuring Itachi was in good hands. He left the Uchiha's small house and wandered down the street. He couldn't keep his mind off from what happened to Itachi. What if that had been him? What if Kisame never found Itachi and he died? What if they have others involved in the beatings of the local gay prostitutes? He knew they did. There were several men who beat Itachi. By going out and working, he was putting himself at an even bigger risk than before.
But he had to make money and provide for not only himself, but for Deidara also. The blonde still wasn't well enough to work, so what he made selling his body to men was all they had to live off of.
Sasori walked across the bridge and glanced out to the harbor. A cool breeze blew some red strands away from his face as he lost himself in thought staring at the calming water. He sighed and continued his way home. He knew he had to tell Deidara what had happened to Itachi and how it happened. And he knew what the blonde's reaction would be. He would beg him not to go out ever again. His lover hated that he was a prostitute to begin with, this only added to the reasons why he should find work elsewhere.
When Sasori got home, he told Deidara everything and the blonde reacted the same way he'd expected him to. He pleaded with tearful eyes, begging him not to go. His heart clenched but he had to. He was a professional prostitute, he couldn't quit just like that. Not even for his love.
Later that night, Sasori was getting dressed from his shower. He sat at the edge of the bed and laced up his shoes as Deidara sat at the head of the bed, reading his book quietly while subconsciously running his fingers through the soft fur of their cat.
Sasori gazed at his lover almost sadly before shaking his head and sitting up. "Don't wait up for me. Get some sleep, I'll be home late."
Deidara slowly raised his gaze from his book, locking eye contact with the red head. "You're going out to work again, un?"
Sasori simply nodded. "Yes."
Deidara's bottom lip quivered and tears threatening to spill burned his eyes. He swallowed hard and looked at Sasori with pleading, teary baby blue eyes. "P-please don't go, Danna..."
Sasori frowned at the blonde and turned his head. Closing his eyes and taking a breath before exhaling and looking back to his lover. "Deidara, it's my job. It's just work...you know this." He stood up and grabbed his leather jacket as he walked to the door.
"Please don't go!"
Sasori paused. He tightened his grip on the doorknob and took a deep breath before opening the door and leaving into the cool night, not glancing back at his lover. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and sighed, looking up to the starry night sky and trying to ignore the ache in his chest. "Deidara..." He whispered, shaking his head and making his way down to his usual spot.
Deidara sat alone in their apartment, staring at the closed door and trying hard to fight the tears streaming down his cheeks. He couldn't handle Sasori going out almost every night and having sex with other men. It hurt thinking about Sasori with other men, touching him, moaning as they had their cheap sex. It made him sick and he knew he'd never get use to it. He loved Sasori with all of his heart and to have him leave him to go have sex...he didn't know how much more he could take.
And after hearing about what happened to Itachi, it scared Deidara. He didn't want Sasori getting hurt. He couldn't bare the thought of losing him and prostitution was risky enough as it is, now it's even worse. It's a horrible business and he hated everything about it.
He choked back a sob and tightly held his pillow, burying his face into the pillow as he let it all out and began crying loudly. He trembled and his body was racked with neverending sobs. His chest felt so tight and his heart hurt.
Deidara screamed into the pillow and angrily threw it across the room. Panting and getting up, storming over to the amaur and taking all of his clothes out. He threw them all into a suitcase before stopping and letting out another loud sob.
He couldn't do it, he couldn't leave Sasori. He loved him too much. He shakily got up and began putting his clothes back where they go. Fresh hot tears were endlessly streaming down the blonde's flushed cheeks as he put everything back to the way it was.
Deidara went to the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. His hair was messy and his face was damp with tears. His eyes were red and puffy and his cheeks were painted a dark pink. He sniffled and splashed some cold water on his face, pulling himself together and taking a deep, shaky breath to help himself calm down.
He shuffled back to bed and flopped down, snuggling under the covers and hugging Sasori's pillow tightly. He closed his eyes and inhaled Sasori's scent from his pillow, fighting back fresh tears as he tried to fall asleep, alone again in the big empty bed.
Hours later, Sasori quietly opened the door and slipped inside. He sighed and took his jacket off, tossing it on the couch and glancing at Deidara in bed. He crawled into bed next to his lover and wrapped his arms around him from behind, sighing and kissing his bare shoulder.
Deidara grunted and tiredly nudged Sasori. "Hnn...you have that stranger's smell, un. Go take a shower."
Sasori didn't say anything for a moment. He closed his eyes and sighed before getting up and making his way to the shower, making sure to scrub every inch of himself to rid himself of anyone else's smell.
After his shower, Sasori put on some sweatpants and crawled back into bed beside Deidara. He gazed at the blonde and sighed softly to himself before laying down on his back, looking up at the ceiling.
Deidara still had his back to Sasori, not looking at him as he bit his lips and took a deep breath. "Do you really love me, un?" He asked, breaking the silence that had settled between them.
Sasori glanced at the back of Deidara's head from the corner of his eyes. "Yes. Very much."
Deidara clenched his teeth and scowled at nothing in particular. "So how can you continue to go out with customers almost every night, un?" He spat.
Sasori paused for a moment and furrowed his brows. "Because I am a professional prostitute." He turned his head to face Deidara's back. "Do you know what being a professional prostitute means? It means you have to divide yourself into two separate parts."
Sasori shifted his gaze back to the ceiling, his face void of any emotion as he spoke. "Your body is the tool to earn money. The customer's money can only buy my body to satisfy themselves, but they can never touch my heart." He swallowed a lump forming in his throat and looked at Deidara's trembling body. He rolled over and wrapped his arms around the blonde, kissing his neck softly as he whispered. "That belongs to you, Deidara."
Deidara hiccuped and gripped Sasori's hands tightly, keeping his back to Sasori and leaning into his touch.
Sasori sighed heavily and closed his eyes. "It won't be long before you get used to it."
Deidara whimpered and gave up fighting the tears any longer. How long? How long would it take to get use to it? He's waited so long already and every time Sasori leaves it hurts just as bad as the last. He's never going to get use to it. He hates it and will always hate it and he refuses to accept it.
Sasori held Deidara with his strong arms and nuzzled the back of his neck. He kissed the back of his head and whispered. "I'm sorry, Deidara."
Deidara turned around in Sasori's arms and buried his face in the his chest. Crying himself to sleep, never wanting Sasori to leave him again. He never wanted Sasori to go out and sell his body ever again. He didn't know if he could handle the pain for much longer, but he knew he'd stay with Sasori no matter what. He loved him too much and Sasori knew it.
Who doesn't love a bit of angst every now and then? :D But it's a sad story, seriously. All of the happy parts are pretty much over.
Anywhoo~ I hope you all enjoyed! Don't forget to review and have a beautiful day~
