A/N: This is just part of the chapter Hectic split up. I have edited it a bit more to fix some things though. Please enjoy.

Chapter Ten

Plans for the Holiday's

The next morning Ace snuck out before any of the other first years where up. He had grabbed Fred and George. Both of them where looking at the stone at the moment.

"How much you think it is worth?" Fred asked.

"No idea…" George said.

Ace smiled "I will take it to the goblins have them tell me what it is."

Twins looked at each other. "Wait till the end of the year you never know we might find out more later on. The goblins might want to get a cut from it."

"So where do we keep it" Fred had finished as George had stopped.

Ace took it. "I will put it in my trunk. At Christmas I will take it back to my place. Only Hagrid knows where I live and could only find me with my Hogwarts letter." He stood up holding up the stone smiling at it knowing it was a big deal.

"We should go see Lee. You all hold this for the week." Ace said tossing them the stone.

Fred snatched it out of the air and wrapped the stone up and put it in a compartment in his trunk that had his Play Wizards magazines.

George was grabbing Lee's things and change of clothes. They took off and Ace started telling them what Snape said.

"Well we did-"

"Say we help Neville."

"Guess we have no choice now." Fred ended.

Ace looked at them "You think the others will be ok I mean they lost a lot of points."

Fred looked to George "Well I guess we will just not lose any this week and everyone will not notice the difference by next week."

George sighed "We could even try earning points."

Ace looked at them "What are you talking about?"

The twins smiled "We get bored with the classes-" They said same time. Fred hoped on Aces left. George on his right.

George started to talk. "When we behave in class we don't lose points. So everyone else points earned are worth double then."

"Since we lose at least thirty points a day."

George smiled "We make people laugh so they don't care."

"Also if they say anything we make them pay." They said standing in front of Ace. The switched places looking at him "They know better than to mess with us."

Fred leaned forward "If we earn points it will help get them back. It was only 75 points. Now if it been around 150 or something that be hard. Also remember we have two more games. If we win them by a landslide we can win both cups."

Ace shook his head smiling "So no pranks this week."

Fred looked to George smiling "None on the snakes at least." George said. And walked into the hospital wing.

..

.

.

Neville woke up and looked to see Ace was already gone. He lowered his head thinking he made Ace mad. That morning all the others in the room where slowly getting ready. Thinking of the backlash they get at breakfast.

Only for once they got there everyone was waving at them and greeting them like they didn't care about the lost of points. He noticed the twins and Ace where goofing off and making jokes.

Neville looked to everyone "why aren't you mad at us?" He looked to the table.

One of the sixth years looked up. "We all have lost points. It was a shock to us. But the Twins and Ace said it was their fault. You over heard something and went to help them out. And twins promised not to lose any points this week to make up for it. And since they lose at least twenty points a day-" He was cut off my Fred yelling.

"Thirty Points thank you very Much!"

The sixth year shook his head. "Ok thirty points. Any way with them not losing points we will pull into the lead. And they said they would try and earn points too. So we kinda have to thank you guys. I mean yes you lost us seventy-five points. But it was to help one of our own. And then you make is so the twins won't be losing thirty points a day. That is at a minimum of 150 points a week." He said smiling.

Neville looked to the twins in surprise who pointed to a sleeping Ace. Meaning Ace did this for them. Hermione was walking to the table nervous her eyes were red and puffy. She had cried all night thinking everyone would hate her. Only to greeted friendly. She smiled at them and sat down. Looking at the first years also in trouble she lowered her head. "Guys you might not want it. But I wanted to offer you help. We could research together. And I could give you my notes and proofread and point out some books."

Ron smiled at her "Thanks Hermione."

Dean and Seamus smiled at her "Thanks Hermione you are the best."

Neville looked at her "you don't have to do that."

"I want to."

Fred and George laughed at them joking about.

Ace opened and eye and smiled as he woke up and started to eat.

Minerva walked up to the students who been out of bed last night. "You have been punished already by Professor Snape… So I will not take points away. But you will be spending this Saturday with me. While you work on that paper you must hand in. I will not have my Lions turning it in late. You will have it done Saturday night. And no later. If it is done before Saturday you may hand the paper to me. I will point things out to you and you will fix it. You will be showing up after breakfast and have Lunch and dinner with me if it takes that long."

"But that is when Ravenclaw faces Hufflepuff." Ron said.

"Oh I know this very well. So you better start today in your free time. Since you have detention Tonight, Astronomy classes Wednesday night, and detention Friday Night, then detention Saturday. Now your grades better not slip up because of this. I am telling you this is a easy punishment if it been me who found you it would have been far worse punishment." She walked away only to stop at Fred and George. "I heard Lee will not be able to attend classes today. Can you get notes for him or must I find someone else to help him out."

"We got it." Fred said.

She nodded and walked back to her seat at the head table.

Everyone was silent knowing she was telling the truth.

Ace looked to Neville "By the way you have to show up Sunday at the potion labs with Fred and George. They have to help you with potions."

Neville nodded looking at the table his life was full of so many things to do now. He had to go running in the mornings with Ace, then Detentions, then Hermione helping with classes, and then Fred and George. Life was going to be horrible for him. But he was wrong.

..

The holidays where coming closer and closer. Christmas was coming. One morning in mid-December, Hogwarts woke to find itself covered in several feet of snow. The lake froze solid and the Weasley twins were punished for bewitching several snowballs so that they followed the new Defense teacher John Dawlish around, bouncing off the back of his head. The few owls that managed to battle their way through the stormy sky to deliver mail had to be nursed back to health by Hagrid before they could fly off again. Dadan had come back with a letter two weeks after he sent her off. The letter said someone was getting in the way and to meet on his Holiday break in person. Lee looked to Ace and smiled having read the meet in person. He offered for him and his parents to give him a ride if he needed it. Which Ace thanked him for. The next day the headmaster had returned to the school.

Ace noticed many just couldn't wait for the holidays to start. No one could wait for the holidays to start. While the Gryffindor common room and the Great Hall had roaring fires, the drafty corridors had become icy and a bitter wind rattled the windows in the classrooms. Worst of all were Professor Snape's classes down in the dungeons, where their breath rose in a mist before them and they kept as close as possible to their hot cauldrons. Except for Ace which people noticed was still wearing his normal clothes only putting his cloak on when he entered a class?

"I do feel so sorry," said Draco Malfoy, one Potions class, "for all those people who have to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas because they're not wanted at home."

He was looking over at Ace as he spoke. Crabbe and Goyle chuckled.

Ace, who was measuring out powdered spine of lionfish, ignored them.

Malfoy had been even more unpleasant than usual since the Quidditch match. Disgusted that the Slytherins had lost, he had tried to get everyone laughing at how he about fell off his broom.

Then he'd realized that nobody found this funny, because it was a teacher who tried to kill him. And they were all so impressed at the way Ace had managed to stay on his bucking broomstick. Save Fred and George, and help score goals and get the snitch. So Malfoy, jealous and angry, had gone back to taunting Ace about having no proper family.

Ace knew it was true that he couldn't get back to Luffy, Marco, Pops, and the rest of the crew. And going back to Privet Drive for Christmas was out of the question next time he stepped foot in the place he was burning it down to the ground.

Professor McGonagall had come around the week before, making a list of students who would be staying for the holidays, and Ace asked her if he could come back early. She asked him why and when he told her to study. She said just to give her the date and would pick him up in the Leaky Cauldron.

Ace found out the twins and their brothers were staying, too, because Mr. and Mrs. Weasley were going to Romania to visit Charlie.

When they left the dungeons at the end of Potions, they found a large fir tree blocking the corridor ahead. Two enormous feet sticking out at the bottom and a loud puffing sound told them that Hagrid was behind it. "Hi, Hagrid, want any help." Ron asked, sticking his head through the branches.

"Nah, I'm all right, thanks, Ron."

"Would you mind moving out of the way." came Malfoy's cold drawl from behind them. "Are you trying to earn some extra money, Weasley? Hoping to be gamekeeper yourself when you leave Hogwarts, I suppose - that hut of Hagrid's must seem like a palace compared to what your family's used to." Ron dived at Malfoy just as Snape came up the stairs.

"WEASLEY!" Ron let go of the front of Malfoy's robes.

"He was provoked, Professor Snape," said Hagrid, sticking his huge hairy face out from behind the tree. "Malfoy was insultin' his family."

"Be that as it may, fighting is against Hogwarts rules, Hagrid," said Snape silkily. "Five points from Gryffindor, Weasley, and be grateful it isn't more. Move along, all of you."

Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle tired to push past them only to bump into Ace and fall to the floor.

Ace looked down at them glaring "Really no Malfoy you trying to pick a fight with me."

"Why would I try to fight you? You're not worth it." He said walking away roughly past the tree, scattering needles everywhere and smirking.

"I'll get him," said Ron, grinding his teeth at Malfoy's back, "one of these days, I'll get him -"

"I hate them both," said Seamus, "Malfoy and Snape."

"Come on, cheer up, it's nearly Christmas," said Hagrid. "Tell yeh what, come with me an' see the Great Hall, looks a treat." So the Lion first years followed Hagrid and his tree off to -the Great Hall, where Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick were busy with the Christmas decorations.

"Ah, Hagrid, the last tree - put it in the far corner, would you?" The hall looked spectacular. Festoons of holly and mistletoe hung all around the walls, and no less than twelve towering Christmas trees stood around the room, some sparkling with tiny icicles, some glittering with hundreds of candles.

"How many days you got left until yer holidays." Hagrid asked.

"Just one," said Hermione.

"And that reminds me - Ron, Neville, Seamus, Dean we've got half an hour before lunch, we should be in the library."

"Oh yeah, you're right," said Ron, tearing his eyes away from Professor Flitwick, who had golden bubbles blossoming out of his wand and was trailing them over the branches of the new tree.

"The library." said Hagrid, following them out of the hall. "Just before the holidays. Bit keen, aren't yeh."

"Oh, we're not working," Dean told him brightly. "Ever since you mentioned Nicolas Flamel we've been trying to find out who he is."

Ace stopped while he was looking at a tree hearing that. He turned to look not knowing they been doing this. He been trying to figure what the stone was.. He didn't think of looking up Flamel to find the stone.

"You what." Hagrid looked shocked. "Listen here - I've told yeh - drop it. It's nothin' to you what that dog's guardin'."

"We just want to know who Nicolas Flamel is, that's all," said Hermione. "Unless you'd like to tell us and save us the trouble." Seamus added.

"We must've been through hundreds of books already and we can't find him anywhere - just give us a hint - I know I've read his name somewhere." Dean added.

"I'm sayin' nothin," said Hagrid flatly. "Just have to find out for ourselves, then," said Ron, and they left Hagrid looking disgruntled and hurried off to the library.

Ace walked up to Hagrid "Ar'n't ye going Ace?"

"No it is not my business doesn't bother me so why go. I have other things to worry about and Quidditch." He said smiling.

"Thanks Ace..."

"I better get going later Hagrid."

Ace walked up to his dorm he was packing a smaller bag having pulled most his things out. Dean was walking into the dorm and smiled at Ace.

"Any plans for you Ace?"

Ace smiled "Well I plan to get some things done. But I am on my own. I have to fix my place up. And then some things done. I will be back at Hogwarts before you."

Dean looked at him and sat on his bed "Ace, I meant what are you doing for the holidays. Who are you staying with? I over heard you say you would never stay with your Aunt and Uncle again."

Ace did have a loud talk about that in the Great Hall the other day. The headmaster was asking where he was staying and was happy he was going to be seeing his family. Which to the Headmaster's surprise and everyone but Hagrid. Ace had snapped. It felts as if his magic was giving off waves of pressure and told him he would never see those vile people again after what they did to him.

Ace smiled "I live by my self Dean." That was when the twins walked in with Lee and jumped on the clear spots of Ace's bed.

"I don't believe you kids don't live on their own." Lee added.

"Agree" Added Fred and George.

"Ok before the trio barge in what do you mean live by your self?"

Ace was pulling out his dagger the stone and his boots hoodies and other muggle winter clothes. "Let's say when I was much younger. My family deiced after they found out my magic wouldn't let them kill me. Well they tied me up while I was knocked out. Drove me to some forest far away from them and dumped me. I woke up all by myself tied up. So I did what I had to do to live."

Twins and Lee looked to Ace while Dean was staring at him in shock "Wow Ace… I am sorry family shouldn't do that. If you want you should come have Christmas dinner with me any my family."

Ace looked at him "I couldn't impose on your family like that." He said smiling tilting his head to the side.

"No problem at all I will go owl mom. Just have to find out how she wants to pick you up. Later." He took off running.

Ace smiled only to see Neville at the door walking in. "Is it true Ace?"

"Yes Neville." He said putting the stone in his shoe. Then rolling his shirts nice and tight. He then put his shorts and pants into the bag.

"Why don't you come stay at my place Christmas Eve we will be having a huge party at the Longbottom Manor." Neville turned to the twins. "Oh course your invited that night as well as your brothers. Lee you too. I will invite the other first years."

Lee looked to Neville "Won't your parents get mad you inviting so many people."

Neville's eyes looked to the ground for a brief second. "My Gran said it was ok for me to invite who ever I wanted to."

Ace smiled at him "Ok Neville. Think I can get a ride from the Leaky Cauldron."

Neville smiled "I can meet you there at noon that way we can hang out. You can bring your broom too if you want."

Ace smiled "Can't where I live I shouldn't be taking it. I have to go in front of many muggles."

Twins looked to each other whispering "We need to owl our parents they leave in two days. Let's go find Ron and Percy." They ran off.

Neville smiled and looked to Lee "Also we have to have dress robes… But… I am sure."

Lee smiled "it is alright Neville. Anyway Ace mom and dad are ok giving you a ride tomorrow."

Ace smiled "Thanks Lee. I need to pack and get everything together. See you later."

Lee nodded "Yeah I should Owl my parents about the party. Any way Neville I will tell Dean when I see him." He walked off.

Neville started to get his things packed as well.

"Neville thank you. I haven't been to a party." well in this world. He looked down because he hadn't had a dream about Marco or Luffy in a very long time and was hoping it wasn't just a dream.

Neville looked at him and smiled "No problem. So any plans you have for the break?"

Ace smiled "Just needing to get some things taken care of. And apparently should get some proper clothes."

Neville smiled and both boys packed in silence. Neville left to hand out with the others and invite them. Ace though was sitting at the window watching as the snow fell down on the grounds. He smiled thinking about Luffy out playing in it. Both building snowmen. He looked at the sky 'take care of Luffy, Sabo.' He thought about the day be been with his Pops sailing the high seas. To have the news coo come in.

Thatch was reading the paper "Seems Dragon's number two is up to something."

Ace walked over to look at the paper. It had been two months now since Luffy turned seventeen. He wanted to see if his brother was up in the paper yet.

Only then to see the Dragon's Number Two, 'he's alive…. He didn't get a hold of us at all….. All this time he let…'

Ace watch over Luffy for me I am heading out sooner than I planned…

Ace walked away in shock. He smiled though. He had to meet Sabo when he got the chance.

Ace looked out at the snow wishing it was the sea. He drifted off to sleep.

"Hello Ace. So weird how you are a kid now." Marco said looking at the second in command.

Ace turned around and tackled his brother to the ground giving him a hug. "Marco I am so happy to see you."

Marco smiled at Ace "Wow what's with you?"

Ace stood up and glared at Marco…. "I… just stressed out ok."

"Talk to me about it."

Ace groaned grabbing a chair and sitting down. Telling him everything that had happen and about how he stole the stone.

"Don't take it to the bank…"

Ace looked up to see a shadow over Ace's eyes. "What do you mean?"

"The person got in there once, and it seems it is important. Take it to where you live and burry it some place only you can get it." He lifted his head smirking.

Ace smiled knowing he put it with his stash. "Not a problem." He was going to go to the bank… Just to find out what it was. But if it was known he had it then he be in trouble. He had also told the Twins he ask about it at the end of the year.

"Ace it is a good thing you got it. I just have a bad feeling. And everything you said I don't trust your headmaster. I can't say much but something seems wrong… Anyway what do you have plan?"

"I am seeing the goblins tomorrow… Maybe I should have Dadan fly home… With the stone…"

"Sounds like a good plan… Why the goblins."

"When I changed my name they said they be sending me things. Never got it. And what I have been reading. You can file about any paper work with them. So my plan is to have me be seen as an adult by Easter break. Which is in a few months. That way no one can force me to do anything because I am a child."

Marco smiled at him "Sounds good."

"That's not all… From things some of the teachers say about my parents from here. Well they knew Voldemort was after them. Why would they not leave a will or even something? It doesn't make –"

"Sounds like the world government." Marco said with a stern face.

Ace clenched his hands flames where coming off his body. Images of the war passing through his mind. What they did to everyone his friend, his family.

Marco noticed Ace was having Haki coming off of him.

"Ace calm down… We need to train you in Haki…"

The rest of his dream he spent with Marco who was teaching him how to learn Haki. And what all of them were.
