Thanks for the reviews sorry for not updating sooner I was in hospital for a while and I didn't really feel like writing. I'm gonna try and update sooner but I'm in the middle of planning to go to mania again and also catch up on all my courses in college.
Chapter 5
It's been a couple of days now since Lita woke up and she was finally well enough to go and see her daughter she'd been hounding the doctors ever since she woke up about seeing her it's all she wanted to do, but they insisted she couldn't until she was ok to move. Randy had barley left her bedside, even though she knew it was hard him being there she was happy he didn't leave again especially when she said no to his proposal she'd never seen him so broken but she just couldn't say yes. He'd hurt her too much they still had so much stuff to sort out without added pressure.
It was the hardest thing Lita ever had to do, to tell the love of her life she couldn't marry him even thought it was all she wanted, she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Randy more than anything but she just couldn't say yes. She thought for sure he'd leave again but he hasn't even though she could tell it kills him the fact she said no, she had to do what was best for her and their daughter.
When the doctor told Randy it was ok for Lita to see their daughter he was so happy he knew she needed to see her. Even though he told Lita he'd wait to see their daughter together, she wouldn't let him, if she couldn't be with her she at least wanted Randy there so she wasn't alone. Even though he wasn't expecting to be a father especially yet, it was the best thing that ever happened to him when he first held his little girl she was so tiny and she had tubes every where he was so scared to hold her but the doctor reassured him she was going to be ok and it was fine for him to hold her. The love he felt in that moment as she tried to open her little eyes it was like she knew he was her father and he swore from that moment on he'd never let anyone or anything hurt her she was his world and he was never leaving her.
Randy was hurt when Lita said no but he understood completely he didn't deserve her not anymore not after what he did how could he have been so stupid to leave the way he did. He knew now though he was going to do anything to be a family again, he needed Lita in his life like he needed air.
As they wheeled Lita to the baby unit she got this overwhelming feeling of love rush over her as she looked at her daughter for the first time though the glass nothing could compare to this moment she knew nothing else mattered in that moment than the girl who stole her heart the first time she felt her move which seems like such a long time ago. When the nurse finally placed their daughter in her arms she couldn't describe the love she felt in that moment nothing could compare to this moment.
"Hi baby girl I'm your mommy" Lita cried as she held her this was what she was waiting for and she knew her daughter was going to be ok she's a fighter it's in her blood.
"Lita have you thought of a name yet" Randy asked the same question a couple of times now over the last few days and Lita never said anything, so he thought she was waiting for this moment.
"Lilly May Orton, it's my Nan's name and I know she would be so proud I wish she was here to see this moment" Lita cried she'd been thinking about a name ever since her daughter was born and she knew this was the perfect name. Lita knew she had to give her daughter Randy's last name he was her father and she knew he loved their daughter and it was the right thing to do.
"I love it thank you" Randy smiled he wasn't expecting Lita to give their daughter his last name and was so happy his little girl would take his name.
"So Randy what's going to happen now with wrestling and everything I know you said you were leaving but I can't let you do that" Lita asked she knew how much wrestling meant to him and she didn't want him to give it up because they have a child she didn't want him to one day regret his decision.
"Lita I already told you I'm not going anywhere. Wrestling wasn't fun for me anymore it kept me from you and I was a mess and I know I hurt you but I'm not going anywhere and one day thing's will be alright with us again" Randy said hoping she believed him he didn't need wrestling not anymore.
"Randy you can't just walk away what about your contract Vince will not let you just walk away" Lita asked she wanted to believe him she really did but she just couldn't.
"After the three months Vince thinks I'm going to go back but I can't and I don't want too I don't know how I'm going to make you see that but I'm not going to give up trying I've rented an apartment and I'm going to stay there until you're ready to be us again" Randy said as he moved closer to Lita and their daughter.
Lita didn't really no what else to say to Randy she never thought things would be like this for them they where always so close ever since they started working together when they where both in the WWE. She knew things where going to be hard now that their daughter was here because she'd have to get used to Randy being around again. She really wanted to believe he was going to put her and their daughter before his career but he'd hurt her to much in the past it was going to take a long time for her to trust him again.
After Lita spent an hour with her daughter it was time for her to go back to her hospital room she hated leaving Lilly and all she wanted was to be around her. But she knew she needed to rest to get better so she could finally take her daughter home where she belonged.
After leaving the hospital Randy went back to his and Lita's home he promised Trish he'd get the nursery ready for when they where both ready to go home as Lita hadn't managed to finish it before Lilly was born. It felt good to be back home again even though he knew it was going to be hard to have to leave again when Lita would be allowed back home. Randy knew Lita wouldn't want him to stay so after he finished the nursery he went back to the apartment he recently decided to rent. The apartment had nothing in it just a bed he didn't want it to feel like home all he wanted was to be a family again with Lita and their daughter.
It was hard for Lita to be in the hospital she felt so helpless she felt fine to go home but the doctors wanted her to stay in for a few more days she knew she'd been through a lot in the last couple of weeks but she felt fine. It was weird not having Randy with her she'd got used to him being these last few days she understood that he had to go home and get things ready for when Lilly was coming home but even though it was hard to admit she missed him when he wasn't there with her.
Lita's mom was flying in from Atlanta any day and she couldn't wait to see her, Lita knew it be awkward with Randy her mom didn't like what he did and she knew there'd be drama but she wanted her mom here right now and her mom promised she'd try and stay out of it even though she was going to give him a piece of her mind.
