Again, I just want to say how sorry I am, and honestly, I think the main reason this chapter has taken so long, other than the ones posted in my Explanation chapter, is that I have no idea what this 'plan' of Ryan's is! It sounded good, so I put it in, but I didn't plan out what it would be! So, I'm sorry if this chapter is lame, I just need to get past this part so I can continue the story! As always, please R&R, and don't hate me too much! ~Admin (aka Amber)

At the lab it was close to midnight, and everyone was exhausted, going over and over the evidence and finding nothing. "God damn it!" Eric yelled, slamming his fists on the table, causing everyone to jump, but everyone felt his pain. Two CSI's missing, and nothing that could help them find their friends... no, family. All Natalia could think about while searching for evidence was how poor Calleigh and Ryan were. 'What if they were hurt? What if they were beaten? What if they can never be the same again? Calleigh has been kidnapped twice... I cant imagine how she feels.' She shook her head to clear it. She needed to be sharp and alert to help her friends, obsessing over it in her mind wouldn't help at all.

When she looked around, all she could see was exhaustion, and sadness in everyone's eyes. Everyone was on the verge of giving up, including her. What can you do when you have nothing to go on? She sighed, the silence was heavy with grief. It was so quite that she almost dropped all of her papers when Horatio came flying in the door, causing a large bang, and everyone to, well, almost crap themselves. "Hand me that!" He demanded, holding an active cell phone in one hand, and gesturing with the other. Eric grabbed the tracking device and handed it to his boss, who hooked it up to the cell phone. He pressed the speaker button on the screen, and immediately screaming, shooting, and fighting was heard, and then, silence. Everyone's eyes were wide with horror, Eric was almost in tears. They all knew who had called the office, but was anyone alive on the other end?

The waiting was agonizing, and then, a familiar Southern drawl sounded. "Tell me where we are, or so help me God, I will put a bullet in your skull right now!" and then, a slightly more dazed voice, obviously beaten too the ground, spoke the address. Before anything else can happen, running was heard on the other end. "Calleigh, they're coming!" "Its fine, they got it." and the sound of a body slumping to the floor. Many sets of footsteps were heard, and then a man yelling that was muffled and couldn't be made out, and finally the line went dead.

Horatio put out a call, and units were sent to rush to the location of their fallen CSI's. Horatio and Eric jumped in one of the PD's hummers, and raced to the scene, arriving just before the police cars, and just in time to see two large men dragging Calleigh and Ryan out to a blacked out van with now license plates, or model in view. At the site of the hummer, Calleigh and Ryan both put up a fight, attempting to free themselves and get to them. Ryan, being farther from the van, broke free and made a run for it, but Calleigh's head was easily knocked against the side of the van, rendering her unconscious, and she was tossed in, the doors slammed shut, and the van sped off. There wasn't a chance to follow as the officers showed up, and men flooded out of the building, and yet another shoot out began.

Eric crouched near Ryan behind the hummer door, gun drawn, and talking to him between shots. "Do you know where they're taking her?" he asked above all other questions. "No. I heard them talking about an air port, but thats it." he said, catching his breath. "Its good enough for me." Eric muttered. Soon, the gun fight was over, and the police officers, and medical examiners, were clearing the scene. The CSI's gathered around Ryan for the story of everything. "Like I said, all I heard was them talking about an airport. I don't know which one, I don't know when they are going there." he said, shaking his head. "I'll check every airport in this goddamned country until I find her!" Eric said, his voice growing with anger. And everyone knew that he wasn't lying.
