The flash of claws.

The screech of my own

Agony.

Over.

Many.

Times.

Then it hits.

I'm dying.

Do I feel regret?

Maybe.

Maybe the heartless murderer

Is not so heartless.

Maybe.

Maybe I just want to be

A kit again.

Maybe.

Maybe I want to

Start again.

But the shadows beckon.

And the regret is gone.

Gone like my soul.

Gone like the goodness in the world.

And I wait.

I wait for revenge.

Then it comes.

And here I am again.

Dying.

Screams.

They fill my ears.

My life ends the same as it began.

Painfully.

But maybe this is how

It will always be.

How life will end and start.
