their light shines down
water glowing,
stones shining.
They call,
yet I do not answer.
I am caught,
like a fish in claws.
By my brother,
my father,
they haunt me.
Both with claws of steel,
they would run through my dreams,
speaking from the shadows.
But they don't.
Because the stars call,
yet I don't answer.
They are stars.
