Hope devoid

Grew up loved
Living life under
the stars up above.
Then Starclan came
They tore down her heart
The death of family
Caused my rage to start.
Ambition raged,
sharpened my claws,
And arose in my head,
A fantasy of war.
Yet no blood stained my claws
Trust was hard to find,
Until she came,
She settled my mind.
I truly loved her,
with all of my heart,
Then Starclan came again,
And ripped us apart.
With nothing left to fight for
Except my own aims,
My ambition only grew,
and Starclan was to blame.
Though still I died
with no death at my claws,
No scars in my pelt
No blood on my jaws.
I joined her in Starclan,
Reunited in love,
But the stars still mocked
They laughed from above.
