A/N – Yes yes yes I know I suck. I am a horrible author for not updating. That being said I hope this satisfies your thirst for some more story :) Sorry about the back and forth b/t POVs. This felt like the easiest way to git 'r dun. Oh and minor character death. Just FYI. Sorry had to re-upload this!

Oh, one more thing: I don't own Twilight. If I did, it would've ended very differently! No copyright infringement intended!

Edward POV

Too fucking easy. Looked like I still had the ability to dazzle my singer. I have never felt more powerful in my life. All it took was a little breath, a little look, and a lowered voice and BAM she was under my control. God what a RUSH!

I watched Bella as she ate her breakfast. Fortunately the tray landed right side up when she knocked it off the bed so nothing hit the floor. I couldn't help the wrinkle in my nose as I smelt her breakfast. Good Lord there was nothing worse than the smell of cooked food. Raw food was bad enough, this is just beyond horrible. But she seems to enjoy it. Just another reason I despise humans.

As I thought over my plans, I realized that it would work beautifully. I've already got Bella under my spell, now to convince her that sacrificing herself to satiate Victoria's thirst for vengeance would be a snap! She couldn't help but want to obey me. I am awesome.

Bella finished her breakfast and after cleaning her dishes and herself, she met me in the living room. She smiled adoringly at me and sat curled up into my side. Oh sweet torture. Just a little longer and I can be rid of this. I knew Victoria had probably found my by now so it was a safe bet that she would be around within the day.

"So Edward, what are we going to do now? Will you change me? I don't want to be apart from you."

Ah, here we go!

"Well, my love, it's not as simple as that really. You see I'm being chased and I can't seem to get rid of her." Bella's look of horror was so comical I almost lost control of my sad/emo façade and burst out in laughter. "WHAT?! Who is it? I will take them down, I swear!" Oh this girl is priceless!

"Unfortunately my darling, you cannot just 'take them down'. You see it's Victoria that is chasing me and I just haven't had any luck catching her. I know she is out for vengeance for her mate that we killed, but I'm not sure what to do at this point." I heaved a heavy sigh and wait. I knew she would take this bait. She had to!

Bella POV

My head was swimming. All I could see and feel was love for Edward and rage against Victoria. How dare she attempt to take my love's life! No way was I going to let this happen. My mind set to work, trying to figure out something, anything!

Wait! The legends Jacob told me so long ago, the stories from the bonfire. The Third Wife! As my idea formed, I began to feel an ache in my chest, like something was missing. But what? I had Edward back, I had everything I needed right here! The ache continued though as I thought more about the wolves and their legends. I tried to shake it off and offered Edward my idea.

"What about a distraction? If I am with you and she decides to attack, I can distract her and you can take her out!"

Edward looked as though he was contemplating the idea. "That could actually work Bella. I don't really want you near her or in any kind of danger but this looks like it's this may be the only way we can finally be together."

I nod my head determined to help. "So where is she now, when can we do this? I want it OVER!" I couldn't wait to begin my life as a vampire and safe in Edward's arms. A glorious eternity awaited us!

Edward's POV

Again…TOO FUCKING EASY. Man, it wasn't even a challenge. Is it really worth it now? I mean I want the bitch off my back, but I didn't think it would be this simple. Let Bella distract Victoria, and as soon as Bella is drained, rip off Victoria's head and be on my merry way. Wow. Almost idiotic in its simplicity.

"Well my love, I'm sure she's around here somewhere. I bet if we take a walk, she will simply come to us. But first, I want you to rest and prepare yourself. I don't want you distracted by fatigue or hunger. We need to be alert. I will take a short hunt so I am not distracted by your blood as well as Victoria."

She nodded her head in agreement and I stood with her, leading her back to the bedroom. She laid down and I pulled the covers over her, kissed her forehead and left the room. I made sure all the windows and doors of the cottage were secured and took off. My intent was to just grab some animals, but my lustful urges were getting the better of me at this point. Never was I so glad to know the thoughts of the idiots of this town. I knew Jessica Stanley was around somewhere. Easy pickins there.

It was no time before I had found, seduced, and drained the idiot girl dry. Spending so much time on this animal diet again had almost made me forget how delicious human blood was, especially mid orgasm and then fear. You can taste the change when they go from excited to terrified. There are really no words to compare that special ambrosia. I left her body at the edge of the forest near the Quileute land and felt a bit of satisfaction that I would be causing those damned wolves problems. As I made my way back to the cottage, I constantly checked the air for a scent of wolf or vampire. So far nothing. At least nothing close. They seemed to be a ways off. I grabbed a couple of deer to make sure my eyes were still golden when I got back to the cottage. No need to let her in my dirty little secret.

Bella was still asleep when I returned so I got a frozen pizza and put it in the oven. At least I didn't have to handle this food so much. I heard her stir from her nap and checked the clock. Two o'clock, good time to entice a vampire.

Bella POV

I stretched lazily, feeling refreshed from my nap. I tried to grasp the wisps of my dreams, but they alluded me. All I could see were stormy grey eyes, a motorcycle, and black hair. I felt a phantom touch on my cheek, but couldn't place it. I shook my head thinking it was probably something I had seen on TV.

I took my "human moment" quickly and made my way to the kitchen where I smelt pizza cooking. I was kind of surprised at how well Edward seemed to be taking care of me. He met me in the middle of the room, offering me a seat at the island and setting the pizza in front of me. I dug in hungrily, though in all honesty it felt like I had just eaten breakfast. I felt Edward's eyes on me the entire and my cheeks flushed. I don't know where shy Bella came from, but she needs to go away. We had a mission to accomplish!

I finished in record time and cleaned my plate in the sink. As I turned around Edward was right behind me. He grabbed my hips and pulled me close. "You ready for that walk?" he whispered to me. I reveled in his sweet breath on my face before smiling widely at him. I nodded and said "Let's go!"

He led me out the side door and towards the woods. I admired the beauty of the forest around me. So green and lush and earthy. I took a deep breath, enjoying the smells just as much as the beauty. We seemed to walk a long time before another scent hit my nose. Oil, beach, man. What was that? It smelt familiar.

Suddenly Edward came to a halt, keeping me close to his side as he looked up.

"Hello Victoria. I see you have found some friends."

When he said "friends" I felt a chill go through my body. This wasn't part of the plan! It was supposed to be one on one. Simply get her distracted and let him go in for the kill. There are supposed to be any other here.

At Edward's statement, the ferns around us rustled and I let out a squeak at what was standing before me. Four giant wolves; one black, one brown, one grey with dark spots, and one silver. The silver one seemed to be staring at me and I couldn't seem to keep my eyes off of him. I heard him whine and he took a step forward, but a low growl from the black one stopped him in his tracks. There was something familiar about those eyes. What was it? I felt myself starting to drift from Edward's side and towards the wolf, but Edwards grabbed me and spun me to face him.

"Shhh, my love, we will fix this," he whispered to me. Again his breath was heaven and I sagged against his body. Yes, he was right, everything would be ok, and we just had to figure it out.

Suddenly, I was in front of him, facing the bitch that was stalking my love, Edward's arms wrapped tightly around my waist. "Now Victoria, what is it you want?" Edward's voice was low and deadly. I shivered thankful that voice wasn't directed towards me.

The red haired vampire seemed to harden her stare at us, especially at Edward's hands around me. She glanced at the black wolf who nodded at her. That's when things went black.

A/N – so it's battle time. I have never written a battle scene before so hopefully I can do it some justice. Hope you enjoyed this one. Thanks for reading! Review if you like :)
