[ Hospital, streets - Reader's POV ]
I had an accident 2 months ago.
The accident made me hospitalized for a month. It was the most boring and painful moment of my life. I didn't know that it was almost fatal and the worse part was that my legs might not be able to walk again. I wanted to cry so badly because of the bad news. I thought my life would be over soon. Maybe if i had a knife on the table next to my hospital bed, i would kill myself without anyone noticing. But luckily... none of them happen.
2 of my friends from Homra, the famous red clan in Shizume City, visited to take care of me. One of them is the famous-most bloody handsome- bartender in Shizume City. The other... is somewhat lively-spirited yet unpredictable. I didn't know that they cared enough about me. I wasn't that attractive in the circle, not that i have the guts to flirt with the clan members. They are guys and I'm like the only girl in it. I'm a shy one, like a certain loud-redhead in the clan.
Even though I'm not attractive to guys, the lively-spirited guy, whose name is Totsuka Tatara, believes and convinces me that i can be fun towards them. While the bartender, whose name is Kusanagi Izumo, supports me when no one is there to turn my upside-down face. Yup, 2 of those guys were the ones who were there all the time, during my rest in the hospital.
A month after, I was confirmed that I can go home. At last, I can breath the fresh air and hear the busy streets once again. Breathing a hospital air made me sick to the core. Iron and alchoholic smell were everywhere, which was bothering. Anyways, as usual, the 2 guys visited me to pick me up. what I doubted was that they wouldn't want me to live alone. Instead, they wanted me to stay in Homra. Izumo-san stated that he has another empty room beside Mikoto-san's, and then Totsuka bluffed that he can be my servant, which made me chuckled.
I couldn't go anywhere but sitting on a wheel chair. Yes, I can't walk. But thank God it wasn't permanant. My feet just needed some rest. During the walk to Homra bar, Totsuka was the one who pushed my wheelchair, while Izumo was carrying plastics full of medicine and food.
It was a bit quiet when Totsuka suddenly started the conversation. He always starts the conversation whenever me and Izumo couldn't think what to talk. And so we talked about our old days back in the high school. I was in the same school with them. We used to play kick the can in the park and chicken race when it's windy. Also, whenever either of us have birthdays, we will surprise the person with a cake we made. We didn't buy because cakes were expensive at that time and homemade are far better.
Why did i hang out with them ? Oh well like I said, I wasn't that attractive. I do have girl friends but none of them were permanent, meaning that they were just 'friends' and not more than that. While the trio, Mikoto, Izumo, & Totsuka were the only ones who cared. I rarely talk to Mikoto because he doesn't talk much, except Izumo and Totsuka.
At that time, when I had problems during practices for exams, Izumo would help me.
[flashback]
"Izumo-san, can you help me solve this equation ?"
"Oh, let me see."
"Do you know how to find 'x' ?"
"Of course I don't."
"W-wha-why so?!"
"Because I don't date. So I don't need to find 'x', if you know what I mean... haha~"
"Urgh, Stop being so flirty all the time!"
"Ouch... that hurts!"
"A-ah... I-I-I'M SORRY! I DIDN'T MEAN TO HIT YOU IN THE FACE..."
"Bleee~ I'm just kidding, _-chan !"
"U-uwahh... I'm so gonna kill you later !"
"Ahaha... anyways, let's focus on your problem."
"U-un..."
And when I needed to fix my guitar, Totsuka was always there to fix it. It was also the time when he- I mean, I stole his first kiss.
[flashback]
"Hey _-chan~"
"O-oh hey, Totsuka-kun."
"What'cha doing ? I see you have problems fixing 'Melody'."
"Yes... I broke 'Melody' again. I think I didn't ajdust her string right."
"Hmm... Let me see if I can fix her."
"Here."
After fixing, he tested 'Melody' and the melody sounds were good.
"Here you go, _-chan~"
"W-wow... she's good as new !"
"Yup~ Thanks to Doctor Totsuka, haha..."
"Thank you so much ! H-how can I repay you, Totsuka-kun ?!"
"No need, _-chan."
"No... I will do anything."
"Oh, well how about..."
"How about...?"
"How about a kiss?"
"Eh?"
"A kiss, silly~"
"Eh?! Can I just treat you something instead of a kiss ?"
"Nope. You said you'll do anything ,right ?"
"B-but-"
"No buts~ Since you aren't a person who likes to start things, I'll start~"
I was going to back off when I suddenly (somewhat) slipped and leaned my face to his. In the end, I kissed him. We both blushed, but then laughed at what we did.
Those were the best moments of my life.
When we were graduated, we went to the park and pictured the 4th of us as a memoriable thing. And after that, we made our own promise by writting on small a note and then put inside a balloon. It was Totsuka's idea and we agreed to do it. This was what I wrote...
"Whatever happens, promise not to leave me !"
We flipped the note into a small square shaped note and put it inside the balloon. Mikoto pumped the balloon with helium to make it fly. I don't where did he get it, but it was probably Totsuka who found that helium pump. And so, when the balloon was set, the 4th of us hold and released carefully. The balloon flew up to the sky, reflecting the rays of the sun. I quickly took a picture of it.
It was the most beautiful moment I've ever had.
Whatever happens, I don't want to leave you guys. So don't dare to leave me.
Omake - (at _'s room, Homra)
Izumo : How does it taste?
Reader : It's so good ! You cook pasta well.
Izumo : Merci, mademoiselle~
Reader : you're welcome.
Izumo : By the way. I heard that you stole Totsuka's first kiss, is that true ?
Reader : E-Eh... N-NO I DIDN'T !
Izumo : Liar~ Tell me how did you steal his first kiss?~
Reader : B-baka !
Izumo : Tell me, please~ *leans his face closer to me*
Reader : B-baka izumo ! It was he who-
*accidentally slipped myself and kissed Izumo-san by accident*

I know this isn't Totsuka Izumo x reader... more like... mikoto Totsuka Izumo x reader... but anyways, I hope you like it !
