No Need an Umbrella

Suoh Mikoto x Reader

[ Store, Shizume City, Homra Bar – Normal POV ]

"Ne, Mikoto-san."

"Hm ?"

"Which mochi set should I buy for them ? The red matcha, strawberry, or... green matcha?

"Anything is fine."

"Hmm... okay~ I'll buy the red matcha mochi set. What about you ?"

"Anything is fine for me."

"Oh come on... You have to choose which one do you like !"

Mikoto sighs and reads the list of the mochi flavors. He points on the list and puts it back.

"Wow~ I never knew Mikoto-san would order a strawberry flavored mochi."

"Is that a problem ?"

"Nope. Definitely not a problem. It's... cute though. Hehe~"

"Hm.."

After they buy mochi, they go out from the shop and look around. Unfortunately, there aren't many people around. It's Saturday noon and there should be many people walking on Shizume's busy streets. Some are running or walking fast. _ looks at Mikoto who is almost asleep while standing. She shook Mikoto's shoulder to wake him up and asks something.

"Mikoto... Do you find this weird ?"

"Hm.. ?"

"Look. All of the people are running and walking fast."

While they are talking, a strong wind suddenly blows. The sky darken itself. The leaves from the trees shake along with the wind. The rain begins to pour. The longer they stand there, the harder the rain pours.

"Damn it... I didn't check today's weather."

"I did."

"You did ?! But why didn't Mikoto-san say that earlier?"

"Because you kept yapping when I wanted to talk, _."

"Urgh... I didn't bring my umbrella. What should we do. The rain is getting harder and harder."

"..."

"I guess we have to stay here till it stops."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Why are you looking at me with that face ?"

"We can run."

"Run ?! Without anything to protect us ?"

"Hm.. I think you don't need to run while I'm here."

"What ? I don't get you..."

"Stop yapping. Let me carry you."

"H-hee... ?!"

Mikoto carries _ and puts her close to his chest. He uses his black leather jacket to cover her. As _ holds tight to him, he runs as fast as he could to the bar. The jacket keeps _ from the rain, while Mikoto uses his power to warm her, which... she is already warm enough near his chest.

As they arrive at the bar, Mikoto puts her down to the sofa and asks Kusanagi to give them a towel. _ is still hiding from Mikoto's jacket and then curls herself like a ball as if she is keeping the mochi sets warm. Mikoto suddenly pulls his jacket to see _'s face. As what he thinks, her face is red as a tomato. He quickly grabs a towel and dries her gently. While he is doing that, he smirks.

Baka, Mikoto...

DONE !

Sorry for the late ! How is it ? i made it short, but i added some fluffs~ anyway, im sorry that the story is rather different from what you think, Bellacloudy D: because... to be honest, making stories like protecting the reader from danger is something a bit boring. So i hope you don't mind with this. well at least mikoto protects you from the rain xD /slaps

Anyway, hope you enjoyed this drabble.
