A/N: Hey everyone! So this is the next chapter, I am so sorry that I kept you all waiting. The thing is that school stuff is really getting in the way because I'm a graduating student and things are going on so fast so I needed to concentrate on my studies first. Hope you understand but, I promise you, by the time summer vacation starts here, I will absolutely update every single day or if not, as soon as possible. So here it is, hope you enjoy and please keep reviewing...

After 9 months...

At the royal chambers, the king and queen are having their breakfast. The queen wears a loose gown for comfort because of her baby bump and the king wears his usual white tunic and brown breeches.

"Arthur, I'm fine. You must attend to your knights, they need you." Guinevere insists.

Arthur sighs deeply and says "No." he reaches for his wife's hand and continues "Sir Leon will be in charge of the meeting and they all know of your condition, they will understand. And you cannot possibly expect a husband leave his pregnant wife all alone." Arthur looks into Guinevere's eyes.

Guinevere looks back into his and sighs "Of course not. I want you to be here but I fear that you're rather giving more attention to me than you are to your knights, they need attention too."

"I do give enough attention to them. But," Arthur takes both Guinevere's hands in his and kisses them "When I married you, I swore to myself that my queen would be given much more than just proper attention."

Guinevere looks deeply into his eyes

"I would take care of you," Arthur pulls her into a hug "I would be by your side when you need me," he caresses her cheeks and faces her "I would strive to be a good father for our child," he caresses her bump "and most of all I would spend the rest of my life showing you how much I love you." he moves back to holding her hands.

Guinevere smiles "I love you too, Arthur. And you must know that I too will do everything to be by your side." she caresses Arthur's face.

Arthur closes his eyes, turns his head to kiss Guinevere's palm, and holds it. "I know. Now will you please let me stay with you?" he pleaded.

Guinevere giggles "Of course. Even if I didn't want you to, I don't think it's possible that I could get rid of you." she said coyly.

Arthur smiles and leans forward to kiss her until Merlin barged in.

"Arthur Sir Leon wants to know if-" he stops because he has interrupted something.

"Ever heard of knocking Merlin?" Arthur asked annoyingly.

"Well I'm sorry for doing my job properly." Merlin protested.

"Properly? I can hardly believe you doing your job in a proper manner. Now what is it? I haven't got all day." He looked at Guinevere, who looks at him sternly.

Merlin sighs and said "Sir Leon wants to know if you would be able to attend the knights' training session this afternoon."

"Can't you see that I'm with my wife? Of course not." Arthur said annoyingly.

Merlin scoffed "Excuse me for asking you nicely." he said mockingly.

Arthur answered again until they began to argue. While they were talking, Guinevere's stomach began to hurt and she winces at the pain.

"Arthur..." Guinevere called to him.

Arthur turns to Guinevere and comes near her immediately. "Guinevere! Are you alright?"

"I think it's the child Arthur." She shouts "Aaahhh!" She holds Arthur's hand tightly.

Merlin was shocked as well and said "Arthur she's going to deliver the child, I'll go get Gaius." He runs as fast as he can.

With this, Arthur stands and lifts Guinevere with him "Come Guinevere, we must get you to the bed."

"Arthur..." Guinevere looks into his eyes worriedly.

"It's going to be alright Guinevere, you're going to be alright." He kisses her forehead as she settles onto the bed.

Arthur assures her but deep inside he knew that he needed to be strong for Guinevere even if he is worried so much for her. He needed to be strong for what is about to happen.
