Chapter 12: Sam (annoyed)
A/N: Takes place after Chapter 7: Sam (jealous)
Carly was sitting on the couch when she heard someone attempt to open the door. The attempt was followed by a second attempt and then knocking. Carly got up and opened the door as far as it could go with the chain on it staring at the culprit.
'Are you going to let me in,' Sam asked.
'It depends are you going to tell me where you were?'
'I just lost track of time. I'm here now.'
'I've been waiting on you for two hours.' Sam didn't say anything. 'Were you with her? Never mind I don't want to know. Just go.'
'You waited for me to tell me to leave.'
'I waited because I thought we were going to spend some time together. I thought we were both going to try to make this work. Apparently I'm the only one trying.'
'That's not true.'
'I changed my mind. I want to know were you with her?'
'Yes, but it's not what you think.'
'You couldn't possibly know what I'm thinking,' Carly said.
'I know you think it should be easy for me to turn off my feelings. I know you think that I'm somehow being unfair to you by choosing to still hang out with her. I know you think you because you love me I shouldn't love her, but I do,' Sam said looking at Carly.
'I think it's time you left.'
'I'm here now. Why are you pushing me away?'
'Because I have to practically beg you to be here in the first place Sam.' Carly sighed. 'I'm done being one of two. I deserve to be one of one.'
'I know and I'm sorry.'
'It's ok. We can still be friends and work on iCarly but I'm going to need time.'
'Time? Why do we need time I just broke up with Wendy.'
'What,' Carly asked shocked.
'I made that decision today. Wendy didn't take it so well so we talked for awhile. That's why I was late.'
'Why didn't you just tell me this when you arrived?'
'You were too busy being disappointed in me. Now can you let me in I really want to hug and kiss you right now.'
Carly closed the door and removed the chain. When she opened it Sam flew into her arms and kissed her.
