Astrid and I were very happy that the news of our marriage was celebrated by everyone on the village. Astrid couldn't hide her smile. She was happy that the village accepted their engagement so open-heartedly.

I could hear them talking about our engagement. I couldn't help but smile when I hear one of them say, "They really are a perfect pair. They are gonna have a happy life together" or "I take one look at them and I know they are gonna have a bright future."

But what made me smile the most was when they would say something about Astrid. They would definitely say something nice. I have never reheard any of the other vikings compliment her. We sat on the usual table with the gang...like usual but this time my dad was there. We were discussing about the wedding. How it was going to be, when will it be held. Before anything, we all agreed to ignore anything that ruff and tuff suggest.

In the middle of the discussion, Gobber came to us with six tankards and a one huge jug. " there you all are! So Hiccup, now that you're engaged and going to get married and all, I think its about time you get drunk! And you all should join em'!" Gobber said. "Uh, I really don't feel like-"" Nonsense! C'mon! I made this mead myself You know." He insisted.

"I don't get what the big deal is! I mean, why not?!" Snotlout blurted. "Thats it Snotlout!" Gobber poured his mead into a tankard and handed it to Snotlout. He raised his tankard of mead. "Snotlout, I really don't think you should-""What harm did mead ever do to people?!" Snotlout cut in. "Oh you have no idea." Astrid muttered.

Snotlout took a sip of the mead. "Actually, its kinda nice." He said before taking another sip. "Oh, wait, I feel, dizzy." He got up and walked clumsily towards the entrance of the hall, constantly bumping into people. "Yeah, my answer's still no." I said. "Well, how bout' the rest of you? Stoick, how bout' you?" Gobber offered. "You know what Gobber, I need you to forge me a new hammer." My dad said. "Certainly!" Gobber replied. "And I have something for you two to blow up." The twins smile widely and got up. "I'm going to need you to study a dragon." Fishlegs look very excited. "Everyone! I have something to show all of you!" My dad turned to face me and winked.

I gave him a smile. Everyone followed my dad outside. Astrid got up and was also heading outside. "Where are you going?" I asked."Your dad wanted to show us something." She answered. "He was just distracting the others to give us some privacy" I said. "Oh. Okay. So, what now?" I got up and walked slowly towards Astrid. I put my arms around Astrid's waist and she put her armss around my neck. We leaned in closer until our lips were only a centimeter apart. We were just about to kiss when Toothless barged in and roared.

Behind him were the hybrids and Stormfly. We both chuckled. "Hey bud." I said as I petted his head. "Wait, when we're married, does that make Stormfly my dragon too?" Stormfly faced. "I guess so but I don't really think that is important." Stormfly nudged me hard, causing me to fall. "Well, it is to me." I got up and petted Stormfly. We took a walk back around the island, hand in hand. When we were passing by Thor's Beach, we saw my dad and everyone else. "I swear to Thor it was right here." We both laughed seeing my dad being stupid.

When we reached my house, we fed our dragons and went to sleep.

Okay so this is it. the new chapter. The ending was kinda simple, I know. I didn't really put that muck brain-power into this chapter. I'm saving it all for the next cause that's when Alvin becomes a threat. So I hope you liked it and I seriously can't wait for Storygirl1997's sequel to How to Raise a Dragon. That story's is the best one I have ever read. YEAH!
