TWD CARL AND SOPHIA CHAPTER 34 FIGHT THE DEAD FEAR THE LIVING
Carl's pov, what the fuck Cristian I screamed at him, Cristian replied I did what I had to do, it had to be done, I yelled u don't know that, Cristian replied, yes I did, and so did u Carl and everyone too I was counting on u man. I looked at Cristian he had blood, all over he's face and shirt from Thomas's face, the blood was everywhere on he's shirt, I looked at Thomas's destroyed head, and I could see he's squished head, and their was blood all over.
suddenly, Andrew, showed up, he was looking at us with wide eyes, then he stared at Thomas's body, and destroyed head, Dad then say let me explain what happened' but Andrew, did't listen to us. He took 4 shots at us 3 of them missed us but, the last, 1 shot Sophia, in the legs, no I screamed, Andrew then started running towards the tombs and went inside, Dad followed him and chased, Andrew. I ran up to Sophia, and said if she was all right' Carol grabbed the medical supplies' that I found and stitched Sophia right up, Carol then said, you'll be alright sweetie but make sure to rest alright, Sophia answered, Carol then said to me, Carl can u make sure she gets plenty of rest' right I answered, I then grabbed Sophia' if she could walk, she answered yea, I just need a little help, I helped her walk letting her lean on my shoulder's when we got to our cell I put her in the lower bed and let her rest. I said to her are u alright' yea she said' bitting her lips cause of the pain' I then said to her' your mom said u need to rest so just close ur eyes and just sleep alright princess' I told her, Sophia answered but Carl im fine don't worry plus I wanna be with u I answered " im not going anywhere im going to check on the other's just call me if u need anything, Sophia then said Carl. I answered "yea Sophia, she replied' Carl plz don't leave me alone here can u lay down with me here, Sophia said looking at me with her beautiful eyes' finally' I lost fine I said kissing her in the forehead and gently getting in the bed with Sophia, she then grabbed my hand and put her head on my shoulder' and soon falling asleep.
THE NEXT DAY
5:00 am
I woke up it was 5:00 in the morning and Sophia' was asleep on my shoulder, I got out of bed really slowly, and gently trying not to wake her up, I then decided to make her something to eat, I went to the cafeteria which the other's cleared out yesterday of the walkers. Anyway I was in the cafteria and went inside the kitchen, and made her some soup, to be honest I didn't know how to do this so I went to Beth's cell and she helped me make the nice hot soup, and Beth then suggested I give her something to drink' I saw that we had orange juice, I asked Beth if that was alright and she said yes that it was' I got a tray and took it to my cell where Sophia was sleeping, when I got their she was awake, she said, I told u to stay with me rubbing her eyes I answered I did' I just woke up' decided to get u something to eat, u want some. Sophia answered yea im starving' I gave her some soup I her a table' well more like a desk, and put the soup and orange juice in their' she asked this looks good' she said yea you'll have to thank Beth for that, Sophia answered ' I will. I then asked Sophia how's ur leg feeling she answered a lot better thanks to mom' I answered ugh I should have done something ' Sophia replied their's nothing u could have done' but i'll be fine don't worry, I Answered I should have knew Andrew was gonna shoot seeing Thomas in the ground like that' I should have fired 1st' Sophia replied' u couldn,t have seen it coming just don't worry i,ll be fine, Carl then said I hope so maybe I can help u get better so i'll do what ever needs to be done, Sophia then asked me to get her some ice I nodded and got some for her and went back to my cell and put it in her leg where the gunshot was. She bit her lips' the coldness was making it even more painful but it would help' after 5 minutes' with the ice on she could handle the pain after eating everything she told be to go back to sleep with I did, I got in gently she kissed me in the cheeks and in a few minutes we both fell asleep. It was 10:45 in the morning I yawned and asked her what is it she asked ' lets go for a walk im bored, I answered when did u wake up she answered' about an hour ago now come on, I replied are u sure ur strong enough to we went on a walk around the prison places we could go to though, we then went outside walked around the field talking , their were barely any walkers around and the one's that were me and Sophia put down' sure enough Sophia was doing greet she was walking normally , it was like she wasn't even shot.
Sophia's pov, well looks like we've both been shot now huh' I asked him, Carl answered " yea but trust me u were lucky getting shot somewhere that wasn't improtant' u don't know how painfull it can be getting shot where I was its just awful its really painful u would cry he told me smiling. I replied dang yea maybe so guess I was lucky huh, Carl answered ' yea u were kissing me in the lips, he then said' heyy guess what ur in the club now he told me " what do u mean I replied, Carl answered " you've been shot and so did me and dad so it looks that ur in our awesome club u get to wear my hat now if u want or do u want something else' really I said exited' Carl said yea . I can't believe it I get wear something awesome that makes Carl look like such a baddass person amazing and I get to wear it, Thanks I said to Carl he answered don't mention it' I then kissed him in the lips and he kissed me back we then layed down on the grass in the middele of the field and held hands together. After a while we got up and went inside the prison everybody was eating Carol looked at Sophia shocked that she was walking,sophia answered mom im alright really don't worry.
Carl's pov
Later in the after noon, Me and Sophia were helping Hershel get up with the help of Lori, Beth and Maggie, I asked Hershel if he wanted to race he replied give me 2 full days i'll beat ya. I looked at the others on the other side side of the fence their was Daryl, Dad, Cristian and Glenn, suddenly I looked behind, Walkers I yelled the other's paniched, how the fuck did they get in I then noticed the gate was open the 1 that we locked the walkers in, I got my gun and started shooting I shot 5 walker's I yelled for Sophia and the other's to stay close. I asked Sophia if she had her gun she took her's out of her pocket and got ready to shoot, everyone follow me I yell and we went inside the prison, before I went inside I noticed, Beth and Hershel, locked themselves in 1 of the gates. we were inside the prison I told everyone to reload we were going to enter the cells when walker's came from their, Back I yelled and we ran inside the tombs, Sophia said we shouldn't be in here this place wasn't cleared, I replied yea but its much safer then out their' Suddenly Sophia said , wait Carl where's my mom I answered shit I told the other's to follow me I just hope their safe. Maggie then said did anyone see my dad and Beth, I replied yea they locked themselves in 1 of the gates so the walkers couldn't get them they should be safe. We started walking around the tombs we were taking taking the walker's out quietly, Suddenly mom screamed in pain attracting some walkers, I yelled what's wrong I replied are u bite' she replied I think the baby is coming, oh shit I answered, Maggie replied their's no time opening a strong door then led to the laundry room, I pushed the door close several time's but it just would't close till I used my whole body to close it.
I checked if their were any walkers in the laundry room which their wasn't thankfully, Maggie then said to me Carl are u ready to deliver ur baby broker or sister are u ready, I nodded nervously, Maggie then said Sophia I need ur help too u can u help, Sophia nodded confidently. Maggie told Mom to take off her pants and to start delivering the baby and u don't know how disgusting that was seeing my mom like that yuck, mom started pushing and screaming in pain, gosh I don't want Sophia to ever go through that. Thats why I have to make sure she doesn't get pregnant, still who would want to have a baby in this horrible world, Suddenly mom started screaming in pain I looked what was wrong and their was blood on Maggie's hands coming from mom. we helped maggie lay mom down, and mom said in not gonna make it, u have to cut me open, I said i'll go find find a bucket, Maggie then said she doesn't know how to take the baby out of mom with killing her, Mom then said, Carl has a knife, Maggie replied Lori u want, u wont survive, Mom replied then that's the way it has to be im not losing my baby, Maggie replied I can't I wont do it, mom replied Maggie please my baby has to survive' mom then turned to me and said Carl I don't want u to be scared, I hugged mom and cried into her arms, tears flowing through my eyes and I noticed Sophia and Maggie crying too, Mom then said to me " you're gonna be fine You are going to beat this world I know you will you are smart, and you are strong, and you are so brave, and I love you you gotta do what's right, baby promise me you will always do what's right its easy to do the wrong thing in this world so if it feels wrong don't do it, alright. Don't let this world spoil you you're so good, my sweet boy best thing I ever did, I love you, I love you. my sweet, sweet, boy I love you. I replied I will, I love u too , mom then turned to Sophia and said to her' Sophia make sure he doesn't do any wrong decision's make sure he's still him watch after Carl for me, I will Sophia said tearing up, also can u take care of my baby for me please, Sophia nodded and said, don't worry i'll keep it safe, mom then said to Sophia, " Sophia I think u and Carl are perfect for each other, and Sophia reach in my pocket I have a ring, Rick gave to me the day we got married now u can have it, I reached in and handed it to Sophia' and mom continued and said and u can have this nice neckless Rick gave to me the 1st days we started going out, Sophia reached in and took it off her gently, probably didn't want me to be in more pain, " thank u Sophia said , crying. Mom then turned to me and said " goodnight my love, and maggie said' u guys don't have to look if u two don't want to , I stayed silent just stared at mom, Sophia then said, Carl are u sure u want to see this I nodded, but didn't say a word, I then handed my knife to Maggie and she looked at mom and Said " im sorry before she striked the knife right through mom's stomach as mom was screaming in pain at the top of her lungs, I screamed " stop it ur killing her, after mom's stomach was ripped open Maggie said " Carl, Sophia can u two help keep the sack clean I don't want to cut too deep. we eventually pulled the baby out, at 1st I didn't know what to do, seeing that the baby wasn't moving or breathing and eventually started to cry after maggie taped the baby's back I took off my jacket and gave it to Maggie so she could keep it warm. Sophia then said , we better get out of here, Maggie then said, yea that's a good idea, Sophia stood in front of Maggie with her gun out ready to shoot any walker that come's across them. Wait I said " I said we can't just leave her here I pointed to mom she'll turn, Sophia then said, he's right we can't leave her here , we can't let her turn, Maggie replied , I can't do it, I then said please she's my mom, Maggie then said i'll see if their's still walkers outside. Sophia walked up to me and said "are u gonna u know I replied in a sad and low voice " I have to no other choice I can't let her turn, Sophia then said " u want me to do it Carl, I answered no it has to be me, no more kids stuff, everything dies, I then looked at mom and said she's still alive she's gonna die soon though, I pointed the gun at mom and said, im sorry mom, I love u, I then pulled the trigger and put a bullet in her, Sophia was crying heavily now, not out load but she was sniffing, I walked out not caring what if they thought I was a monster for doing it at least not now, as we were exiting the prison, I was opening a door that lead outside, I heard voices outside' sounded like Daryl and dad, " they didn't make it, that doesn't mean the others did. I opened the door and everyone looked at us, dad noticed that mom wasn't with us and I gave him that stair that said, she didn't make it, dad screamed " no no why no no , after falling to the ground and crying.
Sophia's pov," oh my gosh I feel so bad for Carl, he just killed he's own mom when she was still breathing, Lori told me to take care of the baby and I will, i'll treat it like its my own for Carl, i'll do what ever I can so he doesn't turn into a phyco, Rick has gone crazy he went inside the tombs and started killing walker's looking for Lori's's body. I was taking care of the new baby Lori had died because of every time I look at it it reminds me of Lori, it was a girl, its name was Judith, the baby was one of the more cutest things i've ever seen in this world u just don't see baby's anymore, it makes me wanna cry, Beth has been helping me take care of Judith since I can't do it alone, I asked her if she can take care of Judith alone without me for a while, im gonna cheek if Carl's alright she said u should check how he's doing poor kid just lost him mom and plus he had to shoot her, I said yea what do u think that does to a person, " " not good Beth replied, yea im worried anyway thanks Beth I said to her before checking on Carl.
Carl are u ok I asked Carl, he answered I just shot my own mom he replied I answered it'll be okay grabbing he's hands and sitting next to him , Carl said we should have killed Andrew and the other prisoner's the moment we saw them, I replied what does that have to do with anything ca.. Carl cut me off and said' it was Andrew who let the walker's in the prison if I killed him then mom and T dog would still be alive, its all my fault everything is like always. I answered its not ur fault none of it is if anything its Andrew and im alright Carl he didn't hurt me, Carl answered but he caused T dog and mom to die, the whole time I was thinking this couldn't be happening , I couldn't lose my mom I thought this place was safe but it wasn't safe enough, we didn't clear the whole prison out if we did, Andrew wouldn't have lured the walkers in here. I was mean to my mom so many times I told her to get off my back, when I went and got some supplies for once I wanted people to appreciate what I did and I yelled at her and now she's and I don't know if she'll ever believe me, I then said to him " look Carl im sorry for everything u lost, for all the pain ur feeling, I would do anything for u to not feel that much sadness but don't do this for to ur self please, im gonna help u through this, my mom might be dead too Daryl said they found her hat but couldn't see the body , Carl said I hope she is so u won't be feeling what I am. Carl then told me Sophia now I really hope u won't get pregnant so u don't have the same fate as mom did, I don't want u to ever go through that, I said ok from now on we'll use protection okay sweetie, kissing Carl in he's right cheek, Carl then broke down and went to the bathroom and broke the minor, he then git a knife and ran out the door, Carl I screamed, he stopped and said leave me alone please I need to be alone, he then continued running out of the prison.
2 weeks later
Carl has been cold not himself, that day he ran off when I was talking to him in our cell about Lori he went to kill some walkers on the fences taking he's anger on all the walkers, I've never seen him like this every time I look at he's eyes their full of pain and anger and hate,he's not talking to nobody including me, well he is talking to me but barely, me and Beth gave Carl some food and something to drink to cheer him up but he just stayed in he's cell for several day not moving just sleeping or in thought, or at least staring at the wall. he eventually started eating, but only when he felt when he was gonna past out, and even for me cause he knows I love him and that I don't want to lose him. 1 Day this woman stood in front of the prison fences, we thought it was a walker till we looked at it carefully and it was holding a cart and not growling she had blood and walker guts all over her, my guess is she was fighting some walker's, soon walkers started attacking her, Carl yelled should we hep her to he's dad we decided to help the woman and we took down some walkers I took out 2 and we let her in, Hershel was treating the woman's wounds, she was black had long hair, she was kinda rude actually, but what caught my attention is that she said somebody took Glenn and Maggie by the guy that shot her, and that her guess is that, they were brought to their camp, my heart sank when she said what she said, the lady said " this camp its more of a town really, it has about 40 survivors, its lead by this prick who calls himself the governor, prince charming type but he has another side of him u would never guess he's done some pretty sick and awful stuff, this town is called woodberry.
A/N HEYS I KNOW THAT I SKIPPED A FEW EPISODES NEARING TO THE MID SEASON FINALE BUT, THE GOVERNOR AND WOODBERRY WON'T REALLY FIT IN THE STORY JUST A LITTLE BUT NOT THAT MUCH AND PLUS IM HEADED SOMETHING EXITED IN A FEW MORE CHAPTERS, ANYWAY HOW WAS UR CHRISTMAS OR UR WEEKEND IF U DON'T CELIBRATE CHRISTMAS OR UR NEW YEARS.
