Twd Carl and Sophia chapter 45 Protecting Your Self

Sophia's pov " Carl was not feeling so good I was so scared that he was gonna die that he was gonna leave him me, that I was gonna be all alone , who knows if mom and Cristian are dead or not and until they return the only thing I have left in this world is Carl. He was passed out, I gave him water and ice but that didn't work then he later woke up and I was relieved and cried into he's arms, but he sounded really sick and he was sweating, I don't know what's wrong with him but he needs help some medicine and soon or he would die then we ran into 2 strangers males, 1 was name Adam he was dressed in a military outfit he had a redneck accent then their was he's brother Steve who was a doctor for a couple of years then he joined the squat team. He was able to help Carl and gave him some strong antibiotics and they asked if we had a group near by and I think they earned it I mean they might have been able to save Carl's life.

I said to Adam " yea we have a Camp a couple of miles away its a prison it can keep the biters out , Steve then said " whoa sounds like a great deal can we stay , we can help you guys out pull our own weight you guys won't have to baby sit us. Adam then said " chill your horses baby brother " we just met these 2 people , just asking to join them is rude, Adam then said to me if its okay with you guys , we would like to join your group. I opened my mouth and answered he's question and said " yea you guys can join probably if its okay with everyone else at our group but we must warn you guys were in a war with a different group ,we can't guarantee your safety. Adam spoke and said " we'll that doesn't surprise me that the living are trying to get a place as secure as were you guys are now, a prison is 1 of the best places to hold up smart idea. Adam continues and said " while I was in the army in fort benning i've been in a few wars here in their not pretty theirs lots of blood and lost just be prepared to lose people you deeply care about , I looked down Adam paused then continued and said " and i've been in been in 2 groups since this whole thing started me and my brother, we've been fighting the living its not pretty most of them are dead or lost who they were but we can help you guys win this if you guys let us join you guys.

I responded alright , we'll need all the help we can, Adam said all right , now me and my brother were headed to find some fruit or some deer or something we go hunting everyone or a while , Adam then showed me a map and said you and Carl meet us at this lake (Adam pointed to a lake) theirs a cave right next to it you guys can wait for us their . I nodded and said all right and with that Adam and Steve took off, I just hope they don't die I thought , I then went to help Carl.

I asked Carl if he was okay he responded I.. I think so , I went up to me and said " easy now, your body's still weak so if you started feeling weird just tell me okay, he nodded. I helped Carl up and he started walking really really slow, I then asked him hey are you alright , Carl responded " .. im .. fine i'm just tired .. my head hurts and im. feeling dizzy, we then stopped and took a break. Carl then said uhh where are we, I responded were still in the woods just traveling , Carl replied oh thats good, I giggled and laughed , suddenly Carl fell to the floor, I replied come on get up i'll help you, you can lean on me if you want. I held Carl and helped him walk, I then said so back at the store what was it that freaked you out, Carl then started to shake, and he just froze like he was scared, he's whole body was shaking then he said mom , and then he said , Sophia .. be.. careful.. then he fell to the floor, I helped him but he wasn't moving, I yelled Carl get up please come on get up now.. you can do it, please get up, come on wake up, wake up. He wasn't moving I turned him on he's back, he wasn't breathing , I checked he's heart, and.. and it .. stopped moving.

I quickly backed away from Carl , I waited and listen if he was breathing or any signs of life ,I then went up to him again and moved him seeing if he would react or wake up, no reaction from Carl , I then checked he's eyes their were just still, no movement from the eyeballs. Is he dead, I thought but, Steve said that Carl would be fine he can't be dead nope, maybe he's in a coma or something.. but people die from comas, no I refused to believe that my Carl is dead no, he can't be he just can't.

.. After thinking if Carl was dead or not , he might turn but what if he's not I can't shoot him if he's not dead , he'll be fine he just needs he's rest and he'll wake up and be fine. He has to, I then started crying onto Carl and said to him " i'm scared Carl, please don't leave me I don't want to be alone , your one of the few things that I have left in this world so please just don't die on me, Cristian and my mom might be dead so your one of the few things things I have left. Just don't die please, I don't want to be alone, I need you.

After crying and crying , I wiped away my tears and I said to myself " come on Sophia this is no time for crying he's gonna be alright he's gonna make it me and him. I grabbed Carl's wozzie he showed me how to use it before, I put it in my pocket, and then I grabbed my rifle and reloaded it and got ready to protect myself and Carl. I got some ammo and put it in my pocket , I then said " we need to get some food before we start moving again we can't use the food we found, we need it for the prison. I then got up and got ready to look for food and tuned to Carl and said to the unconscious Carl , I can't leave here if walkers find you they'll chew you up, I grabbed him and put he's arms around my neck and was able to move him after a few minutes of walking we found a safe place, I brought him to the sewers but their were 4 walkers, I kicked 1 and another 1 came after it, I stabbed it in the head with my machete , then I stepped on the walkers head that I crushed, and I then sliced a walkers head apart, and then the last walker was coming after me I quickly took out my knife and stabbed it in the eye, then I took my machete and cut all the 4 walkers head into little pieces.

Carl was still passed out , I then came out of the sewers and got our stuffs that I left behind cause I couldn't carry the 2 bags and Carl, luckily they weren't , I then went back to check on Carl. He was still their knocked out, I grabbed the paper towel that Carl had found in the store, and poured some water in it and poured it in he's head , I then started talking to the knocked out Carl but I know he can't hear me it just makes me feel better, anyway I said to him " hope you feel better .. I then got up and said i'll be back, luckily their was only 1 entranced in and out of the sewer and that was on top you could only jump or climb up from in or out of the sewer.

I started walking through the forest looking for more food, on my way I found 2 walker,s I kicked 1 walker to the ground and started slamming its head against the ground until its skull was completely destroyed and the walker wasn't moving then I grabbed the other walker and slammed its head against a tree multiple times destroying its head. I took a deep breath and took a break for about 2 minutes then I kept going. I then found some bushes with some grapes on them they weren't bitten or eaten looks like it wasn't scratched , so I picked them up I picked about 12 up and put them in a plastic bag, I then kept walking ti'll I found an apple tree, luckily i'm good at climbing trees , so I climbed the apple tree and picked them up and put them in the plastic bag with the grapes I picked up about 5 apples, then I walked a little bit more, and found a bush with 4 peaches I picked them up and put them in the bag with the apples and grapes.

As I was walking I found a group of 12, walkers I took my rifle and shot them down, all straight in the head, unfortunately the gun shot alerted the other walkers nearby , so I made a run for it . After running away from the walkers for some time I started getting tired, eventually I lost them and went inside this small supermarket, I found 2 walker in the cash register I quietly stabbed them in the back of the head with my knife. I also found 5 walkers in the back I chopped their heads off with my machete , I then went 2 the bathroom and found a walkers inside I stabbed it in the throat taking its skin off and then stabbed it in the forehead, I then went to the front door and decided to make this quicker and easier I alerted all the walkers that were inside, by hitting the wall as hard as I could with a pipe I found and a total of 7 walkers started coming to me, I got out my machete and started cutting through me, chopping their heads off 1 by 1 eventually I was able to kill them all, I then stabbed all of them in the head with my machete just to make sure their really dead.

After checking the whole store to make sure their aren't any walkers left, which their weren't, I went to look for some food and something, I found some fruit and cereal and peanut butter and also sandwiches, now what really caught my attention was that I found on the counter was a box of chocolate chip cookies, " yumm I said at the thought of this I grabbed the box of chocolate chip cookies, and started eating out of it. After eating and eating almost the entire box ti'll I was sick of it , I got so full that i couldn't eat anymore, I then put it in my bag for later just in case, i then started walking back to Carl.

I managed to get back to Carl , I told him, I managed to get a lot of food pretty good huh, I know that he can't hear me but it just makes me feel better I then said to him I wish you'd wake up , it was getting dark, Adam and Steve are probably at the lake about right now at their hideout. By tomorrow Rick Daryl, and some of the others will probably go looking for us , after thinking about if mom is alive or not or Cristian if they managed to make it out alive or not or where they eaten alive, I fell asleep and went to a deep sleep.

I was with Carl I stood up and he was just standing their, he.. he was a walker he stood up and started walking towards me trying to take a bite out of me, he has died now for, sure, tears started running through my face, I started backing up, and tripped , the now reanimated walker of Carl, grabbed my arms, and then then as i tried to get him away from me, he managed to get a bite out of my shoulders, he then took another bite at my neck then, scratching my arms and then grabbed my stomach and ripped it open and eating the flesh out of me ti'll my stomach was completely gone , I screamed in pain as my own boyfriend started eating me up.

Thats when I woke up, I looked to see Carl still knocked out just laying on the floor, I smiled and was so relieved that Carl wasn't dead, thats when my smile turned into a frowned , when Carl started breathing hard and heavily , he's hand and fingers started to move then, like a walker when its turning, I quickly got away from, him took out my pistol,and aimed it at hi, Carl then started crawling towards me, he has died just like in my dream, it showed me what was going 2 happen , I yelled " stop Carl stop it, you can't be dead you just can't , tears then started flowing through my eyes at my dead boyfriend thats when I gave up and tossed the gun from my hand Carl was a few inches away from me when suddenly I heard him say, Sophia he then turned around on he's back and started coughing and then said i'm still alive.. stay safe your doing good. I then got up and ran to him to see he hasn't died,that he's still just sick very sick, maybe he'll make it through this I thought, I moved him to see if he would wake up and said to him " heyy Carl are you awake if you are give me a sign or say anything. come on you gotta tell me what to do, you gotta get up, come on Carl, I then checked Carl's heart, he was still alive first he's heart stopped then I checked it again and its still pumping, he was breathing now too.

I cried onto him of relief that he was alive , " im glad your still alive, i'll do my best to stay alive, I then wiped my tears and said to him " you'll live I promise you that I won't let you die , you'll be fine and I will too.

Its getting dark we should move, we can't stay in 1 place for too long we have to keep keep moving , Adam and Steve are probably waiting for us at the lake , we'll find someplace else to hold up and spend the night their.

I helped Carl up and started talking to the unconscious Carl and said " put your arm around me, he was asleep so I had to move him. And moved him somewhere else safer, we ran into a few walker but I had to put him down to stop and kill them, we looked for a safe place that should be safe just for the night , we walked and walked when finally we ran into and open grass field and decided to spent the night their, it was a field and had about 4 tents and 2 cars their, I checked it to see if anybody was their and nobody was in the cars or tents so I decided to camp out here for the night, and Carl should be better tomorrow.

A/N HAHAH DID U GUYS ACTUALLY THINK I was gonna kill Carl off no at least I don't plan too at the moment.
