TWd Carl and Sophia chapter 46 Fighting The Living

Sophia's pov " it was dark outside past midnight, I built a fire to keep me and Carl warm, its getting pretty cold now getting close to winter I got Carl and brought him to the red tent were trying to be as quite as possible not trying to attract walkers but the fire was big , the walkers can probably see it but, we'll just stay quite.

10 Minutes Later..

Carl started moving around I payed attention to see what was going on, he was saying stuff like ,mom.. im sorry.. I didn't .. mean to.. no stop .. stop, then Carl started screaming like he was in pain, and started touching he's head like he was having a really painful headache, I went up to him, and checked to see whats was wrong, he was sweating and he was screaming my guess was nightmares, I then tried to wake him up cause he might attract the walkers , I said " wake up come on wake up, you've slept enough now wake up, come on please Carl wake up , wake up, you can do it. Carl remind the same screaming in pain, I covered he's mouth so he wouldn't yell then I looked into Carl's bookpack which he had found medicine and gave him some antibiotics, and soon he stopped yelling and drifted him back to sleep.

I looked outside, to see if their were walkers coming towards us , luckily no , their were only walkers in the forest but they didn't quite know where the yelling was coming from, I then layed next to Carl and held he's hands saying to him,looks like were alright , they didn't catch on luckily, I wish you'd wake up, I can't do this alone, I need you please wake up, when he didn't respond I said " feel better at least I then layed on top of him and cried into he's shirt being scarred of losing him and I then said to him " please Carl don't leave me, don't leave me in a crazy world like this , please don't leave me , all by myself , I need you please and soon after crying into Carl's shirt and thinking about him I feel asleep.

A Few Minutes later" I then was awoken by the sound of Cars" I thought who could it be , mom Cristian, Adam , or Steve. I peeked outside and saw about 4 huge trucks with stacks of guns and ammo , I then saw a herd of walkers approaching them towards my tent, Carl's yell must have attracted all these walkers. What really surprised me was that those guys started shooting at the herd of about 40 walkers and they managed to kill all of them, these guys are no joke.

The people were dressed really dirty " and had coats on, and big heavy guns a lot of them had bandannas on. I then heard one of them say really load, " the boss said he saw a girl with a boy they look like there' around 17 , 18 maybe, then someone else said " so what do we do the other guy that was talking said we fucking kill them thats what , and if their dead I want to see the fucking bodies. I panicked and thought to my self " oh no their gonna come in their, gonna kill Carl, I have to get them away from here, I held Carl's hands before leaving and said to him " don't worry baby i'll be back just remember I love you. I grabbed my sniper rifle some extra ammo, and my pistol and went the opposite direction from where Carl was so they'd have to turn around to find me, I was in the woods I aimed my sniper at this 1 guy from their group and bang, he dropped down, then some one yelled Luke's been hit, shit , someone else then said " it must be the girl quick everyone else after her, I shot 2 bullets and managed to kill 2 more people , I saw they all moved away from Carl and got in their trucks other's in foot and chased after me, I got the fuck out of their and ran and ran.

after running for a while, I aimed my sniper and shot 1 of the guys I didn't kill him, just really injured him, I then took another shot and hit someone in the heart killing him,, I then took 4 more shots I missed 1 but the other 3 shots were all head shots I then stopped shooting and kept running. I then stopped climbed a really high tree and started reloading my gun then 1 of their trucks was passing through I aimed my gun and shot at the guy driving the truck killing him , making the truck crash. I then jumped and landed on another tree, I then started shooting at more of their people and killed 7 people, I then saw another truck coming my way and a group of about 12 people behind the truck so I threw a grenade at them and when it exploded it completely destroyed the truck and the people in it and killing most of the 12 people behind the truck, I then climbed down and got most of the men's guns like 4 ak 47, 8 shotguns , 12 pistols,5 snipers, 16, assault rifle's 5 grenades, and plenty of ammo. I almost forgot that I had an empty bag in my pocket so I put all the guns and ammo in it, and walked back to Carl.

When I was getting near Carl it was daytime , I was getting tired of walking , I thought I finally lost them when some punk tackled me to the ground and said " got you know bitch, I then took out my knife and stabbed him in the through and letting him die from blood loss, I then started walking again and I saw another 1 from their group, I sneaked up behind him and started stabbing him in the heart multiple times. I decided to let him turn , I then kept walking, when one of their group members spotted me, I quickly threw a rock at him making him drop he's gun, I then ran up to him stabbed him in the shoulders then stabbed him in the ribs , and stabbed him in the stomach 4 times ripping he's stomach open he wanted to scream but I held he's mouth so he didn't scream like I did for Carl I then finished him off, my cutting he's head off, and after seeing he's head with out its body, I realized what I did was horrible, so I decided to put him out of he's misery , so I stabbed him in the head.

The truth is I was taking all my anger on this group , for what was happening to Carl , I was afraid of losing him cause I don't want to be alone, whats the point of surviving if your all alone with no one you care about. I ripped those people apart like not just kill them but I took their guts out and killed them horribly.

Soon I arrived back at the tent where Carl was , I went inside to find Carl , still asleep , I then told him " I managed to draw them away from here, I some how managed to do it, you.. know Carl I killed them .. I killed.. people, it was scary I don't want to do it again I know we have to to survive but still. I then managed to get Carl up, and put he's arm around him and started talking to him even though I was talking to myself , as we were walking, we found the most beautiful thing in the world, a horse. I put Carl in 1st so just in case he falls I can help him or I can prevent him from falling and I got on second and with that , we rode the horse, it was a brown horse, it was amazing.

We rode and rode the horse, ti'll we came to a stopping point, I tied the horse outside a store, the very same store I found the box of cookies , I took Carl in and found a chain and a lock with it, I locked the front door just in case anyone tries to break in, their was a back door entrance so were still good and should be able to escape , I layed Carl on the floor against a wall. I then found some baby food, I got 7 of those for Judith, and some formula too cause we were running out of formula. I then grabbed 12 diapers . I put them all in a bag with everything this is all most too much, I was looking through the stuff and looking for anything useful when I saw the horse get shot then I saw shots being fired at the store, bullets being fired at us.

I grabbed Carl hand and put him in the bathroom and locked the door shut, I then got the store keys luckily their were 2 so, I put 1 inside where Carl was in the bathroom, and 1 with me, and then prepared to have a fight with the living like never before.

I threw a smoke bomb at them, and took cover behind the counter and shot 4 bullets with my rifle, and got 4 kills at them they shot back but missed, I then shot again and shot 2 of them they shot back making holes in the walls and knocking stuff over. I then threw a grenade taking out 7 of them, they shot back but missed , I then switched to a shotgun and took down 4 people , I shot 2 more shots but missed but then reloaded took 3 shots and hit 3 guys in the chest. They then started shooting and started coming inside the store, they managed to get inside the store, I threw another grenade and killed 12 of them, then I reloaded my shot gun and I shot 5 of them straight in the head. They started shooting everything 1 bullet nearly got me, it was just an inch away, but I guess it was luck that it missed I then shot 5 of them, they fired again but missed I then hit 2 of them , then I switched to an ak47 I fired and took out 11 of them I fired again and took out 7, they fired but only hit the broken soda machine, I then fired taking out 10 of them. finally their was only about 16 of them left, I was ready to fire at them when someone hit me from behind and made me drop my gun I quickly took out my machete and stabbed them in the head.

I then decided to take them out 1 by 1 quitely, cause all this noise was starting to attract walkers. I saw 1 of them with a rifle, I quietly, sliced he's neck open killing him, then I found another 1 with an m14, I stabbed him in the back of the head, then their was some guy with a tommy gun, I sneaked up behind him and started stabbing him right in the face multiple times ti'll he was all messed up. Then their was another man with a machine gun, I quietly got behind him and knifed him right in the chest multiple times, I kept doing this ti'll their were only 7 of them left. They then started to panic when they saw their friends , some of them wanted to leave but this big tough guy yelled at them and said " no until we find them, I kept killing them stealthily , I then found another guy with an ak47, I hit him with my pipe that I had in my pocket and started smashing he's head to the floor, till he's head was completely crushed. I then followed this other guy, knifing him in the heart and then cutting he's stomach open killing him, eventually their were 3 off and I could have finished all 3 of them off when. I was about to kill this guy with a pipe when he's other friend found me and shot me in the leg, when all 3 of them found me the guy that shot m3 held me by the arms, I yelled let me go , but he punched me in the face, and I kicked him in the balls, he wanted to kill me but the other guy said " no I then after struggling managed to get get free, took out my gun but slipped, but still had my gun and shot the guy that was holding me, in the head.

I tried to run but this other guy grabbed me, I tried to break free but he was just too strong he wouldn't let go, my guess this is the guy that has been giving the rest of these guys orders and he sounds like the guy, then this guy was about to cut me open and rape me touching me all over I refuse to go through that again, . What really surprised me was when a bullet was fired and shot the guy that was going to cut me open and rape me I turned to see who it was and to my surprise it was Carl, he woke up, he steadily aimed he's pistol at the big guy that had me and shot him right in the throat making him bleed out ti,ll he died.

"Asshole Carl said , Carl looked around staring at the cut up bodies and open throats, he then looked at me and said " did you do this, I replied yes , im sorry they were after me and you were knocked out so I had to defend for my self.

Carl replied " wow you took all these guys out all by yourselves you did good, as I was talking I tried so hard to hold back the tears, but it was impossible, when Carl said " so how long was I out, I ran up to him and hugged him and cried onto he's shirt saying " I thought you were really going to die.. I was so.. so scared .. I didn't want to be alone, you weren't breathing and your heart stopped so I thought that you were.. you know. Tears shredded from my eyes , not stopping I just kept crying into he's shirt breathing hard and holding him relief that he was still alive, Carl held me back and said' heyy its okay you did good and i'm alive because of you, I replied " all I did was get supplies and put ice in ur head, I .. I really thought you were dead, I just , just can't believe it . When I released myself from him, I was breathing hard and didn't realise how much tears I had, he's shirt was almost completely soaked in the middle ,

I got red at how much tears I had, I said " oh sorry I didn't know how much I had, I then wiped my tears and said " sorry Carl smiled and said " its all right Sophia I get it, you were taking care of me I saw what you had to do even getting that group away from me, I then asked him , how did you know that, Carl replied " I saw it all in my dreams .

A few tears came out of me but, I just quickly wiped them away, Carl replied its okay to cry if you want to, I replied " no you told me to be strong I have to i'm just glad your not dad, Carl replied " im glad you didn't get yourself killed , you've learned how to protect your self and you got a shitload of supplies , Carl then said " so how long have I been out cold, I replied almost 2 days, its been a day and a half so far. Carl said dang, I then said you know I found a box of cookies but I kinda ate it, Carl laughed and said how many cookies, I replied a lot, I left you some though cause I knew how hungry you would be when u wake up, Carl then smiled again, I then said to Carl, uhh Carl, he replied yea, I then said " can I ask you a question, Carl said yea go ahead what is it, I then said " what was it that made you pass out and in the store get all shaky, Carl replied " I don't want to talk about it right maybe at the prison alright I then nodded Carl then said " now lets get outta here good, thing you found a bunch of supplies this should be enough to last us a year.

I said in a low voice" yea, Carl then said " now lets go, we went outside to see the horse still alive but badly, hurt, Carl said " man, I replied I found it in the woods , you should have seen it when I was riding it, it was so beautiful it still is right , Carl nodded and took out he's knife, I then stopped and said " no let me do it I found him , they followed me here its my fault it got shot it has to be me , I grabbed Carl's knife and stabbed it in the throat, ripping its throat open then in the head killing it,I then stabbed it again but it was still alive then I stabbed it multiple times ti'll it was dead and we moved on,

Carl said to me " Sophia are you okay I replied " ya im alright whats done is done, Carl replied " ya but its just a horse, their aren't many left, I replied ya but it was suffering, but I could never do that to you I even thought you were going to turn , did your dream also told you I brought you to a tent, Carl said yes, you took shelter smart, I replied yea but in their I thought you were gonna, turn, after a few minutes of walking I told Carl " you just got up you sure you don't need rest or help walking Carl replied no im good but I held he,s arm and helped him just in case he falls. Later we made it to the lake and went inside the cave that Adam and Steve were talking about.

Then me and Carl built a fire, it was about 3:00 in the afternoon i'd say, I was with Carl he still looked sick but he was doing a little better, I said to him " your doing better Carl replied im trying, im trying to stay on my feet. I then said we'll your doing great, I put my head on Carl,s shoulder, he looked at me and I looked at him and smiled and said " i'm glad your not dead, Carl replied " i'm not though, I then said yep im still breathing, I then said " I don't want to lose you, I held Carl,s hand and was about to kiss him in the lips. But Carl stopped me I replied " what out of embarrassment, I replied what don't you love me, I went through hell today and you don't love me, Carl then said no I do. its just im sick I don't want to get you sick too Sophia, I smiled and said okay but feel better, Carl then smiled but then coughed throwing up a little I then gave him some water from my bag after I gave him the water and he drank it, he replied thanks, and after a while Carl fell asleep against me while holding my hand.
