twd Carl and Sophia chapter 49 Beth's training lessons

The Next Day..

Cristian's pov, we'll I beat Merle at the shooting game and I killed the most zombies well I guess im a better shooter, the guy is pretty good though if were gonna defeat the governor, we need Merle, plus he knows a lot about the governor.

I promised Beth that I would show her how to use a gun, and that's what im gonna, do I took her away from the prison and we went to this place , it was a cabin and just everywhere was grass, a field of grass, no trees nearby, and better yet no walker's.

It,s beautiful isn,t it Beth said to me, I replied " I guess so, Beth then responded " what you don,t think its , i,ve never seen anything like, this. I replied " no I do think its lovely but, its just look Beth after being in a world where the dead starts to get up and walk, and you kill almost everything you see that, you really don,t care what you become, .. you just get used to this world,

Beth looked down and said " oh in a sad tone,I responded " but I know something that is beautiful,.. their was a 5 second silence between us ti,ll I said and that's you. Beth smiled and said " aww really , I replied yea and she kissed me in the lips and I kissed back ti,ll we separated, Beth then said " so you admit your not as hard as you think you are, I stopped to look at her ti,ll I finally said " im only cold when were in danger or if theirs someone I don,t trust, we have to be hard , we can,t show emotions. Beth then said " but you admit you have emotions for me, I stopped and said " we,ll I guess your kinda right their, I held her hand and said " now come on lets teach you how to shoot, Beth nodded and said alright"baby, I said alright awkwardly.

I handed Beth a silence pistol and said to her" lets start with this, and we don,t want to make too much noise, Beth held the silence pistol and said " so what do you want me to shoot, walkers, I replied " nah, not yet. I then had an idea I took out 1 glass of bottle, I put it next to the steps of the cabin house, I told her to shoot, she shot the 1 and missed, shoot , Beth said shoot, " I replied " just keep trying, you,ll get it. Beth shot again this time , she got it and broke the bottle their you go, I told her, I then grabbed 2 more bottles from my backpack and layed them next to the cabin stairs, she fired 2 shot but misses, I told her " aimed the gun a little higher, she did so, and then fired 1 bullet but missed. I the said " move the gun a little more to the left, she moved the gun, fired 2 bullets but missed, I then said " just keep the gun steady and take a deep breath, she did so and finally shot 1 of the bottles, " I said to her, good job Beth now get the other 1, she missed the 1st bullet.

I went up to Beth and grabbed the gun with her hands and put her in a good shooting position, I was behind her while doing, this I could tell, she was smiling, " now just take a deep breath and stay focus on your target. And also for walkers aim for the head, Beth replied " I already know that silly, I replied " yea I just want to make sure,Beth then asked " but what if its a person, I answered " just keep shooting. I moved the gun a little higher and told her, now just focus, and keep the gun steady, Beth replied " alright, anything else you want to tell me professor, she said then giggled, I smiled too, I kissed her in the cheek and Beth blushed ,now shoot it, I told her and she did and hit it I then took out 5 more bottles. I held her and kept the gun steady, and she shot the 1st one, then, I told her to shoot the second 1, Beth kept the gun steady, focusing on the bottle and then shot it, I then said we,ll looks like you don,t need me no more, Beth soon took the other bottles out, I then put 10 bottles in the cabin stairs. Beth was able to shoot all 10 of the bottles easily, she did this for about 15 more minutes ti,ll she was pretty good at shooting. Beth ran up to me and hugged me and said " did you see all of that, I smiled at her and said " yea your 1 he'll of a shot i,ll probably take you with me on the next run", Beth smiled, now lets go inside, Beth smiled, me and Beth already cleaned the cabin out so it was all good.

We went inside the cabin, when we got inside, we relaxed and got settled in, we went upstairs, I told Beth, we'll were gonna be staying here an extra night so just pick what room your gonna sleep in, Beth smiled and said " alright , .. oh and Cristian , I replied yes to her, and Beth said thank you, I replied , no problem it was fun teaching you, as Beth started walking I called for her and asked her if I could see her gun, she showed it to me and I put some more ammo, in it. Beth hugged me and said " thank you, I then went in the bath room and washed my face, and checked the cabinets, I found a box of cookies and some whiskey, I took them and went downstairs.

when I was down stairs I put them in the table's and checked the other cabins and found some orange juice and strawberry some banana, waffles and soda, holy shit I said. I decided to make something with the food I just found, I grabbed a kitchen knife that was in the sink, spilled water over the knife because the sinks don,t work anymore so I had to use my water bottle's water and I washed the knife . Then I started cutting the banana into little pieces same with the strawberry, as I was doing thins I thought, Beth is gonna love this. Minutes later as I was doing this Beth caught ,me which was kinda embarrassing but for her , she told me it was sweet that im doing this for her, I then told her not to ever call me sweet again, " Beth laughed and said alright, then she said " how come I wasn't invited to the party, for making these awesome delicious fruit. I replied " we,ll it was suppose to be a secret for you but.. guess its not a secret anymore, Beth then said " can I help, I replied " yea sure babe.

Me and Beth were having so much fun cutting the fruit and other stuff too, Beth just kept smiling while doing this, I thought to myself does anything upsets her or breaks her. Anyway me and Beth were making fruit juice, and we used a fruit juice maker, we turned on the emergency power, oddly it was still on. But while making the fruit juice, some of it got on our clothes we just laughed at each other, Beth then asked me " heyy , Cristian how do you know , how to make this, I don,t even know how, I looked down and said" my ex girlfriend, Rachael , she used to always make this, Beth then said to me, were they good, I replied they were the best, at party's she always would make these stuff, Carl loved it, they were amazing.

Beth then asked me sadly" what happened to her, I replied in a sad tone," the 1st few days all of this was happening , she got bite, and I had to be the 1 to put her down. I just had to, Beth smiled and me and sad " im sorry , grabbing my hand, I then quickly changed the subject and said " come on Beth lets continue, we continued making it , when we finished we made some pancakes to go along with the fruit juice.

as we were finishing , Beth accidentally dropped an egg on me, she replied " oh Cristian im so sorry, I replied " oh no its alright babe, I then threw another egg at her,, she drew 1 at me and it started a food fight. We had food all over us when we were done, we laughed in the end, then we finished up and just stared at each other before making out, we then started to clean the place up. Once we were done, Beth said " now this place is perfectly clean, Beth then said " you know if the prison doesn't work out this place won,t be a bad place to stay, I replied " lets just hope that doesn't happen.

We stared at the house, and then outside, Beth then said , this place was really cleaned , when we found it, their were a ton of food here too , I replied " yea its way too clean , after thinking about it for a minute, I said " I think these people died pretty early, when all of this started, Beth then said " yea we,ll at least , they didn,t see all of that ugly stuff we have to see, I nodded in agreement.

I then said to Beth yea, im pretty tired im gonna take a quick nap, Beth smiled and said yea me too then winked at me, we went upstairs and I said " alright i,ll sleep in the room next to the closet, as I was making my way to the room Beth grabbed my arm and said " wait up, I thought we were gonna sleep together, I blushed and she then kissed me in the cheeks and we went to the room Beth picked. Me and Beth layed down on the queen size bed, the next thing Beth did was asked me"Cristian thank for teaching me, she said , I replied " no problem, Beth then said " Cristian.. do you think things we'll go back to the way they used to be before, I replied " to tell you the truth Beth, we've seen a lot of shit out here, and the one's that are still alive aren't very friendly. Plus even if all the walkers just disappear or if someone makes a cure, they could never undo the damage this new world has caused us, the walkers may be taken care of but , people will still be crazy.

Beth then said " What you don't trust people, I replied " cause I don't, most of the good people are gone, and the one's that are still alive .. are dangerous. Like this governor guy, he wants to kill us,.. I mean , who knows when he'll attack us again, this battle will ti'll the last man standing, even if we do win, we'll lose a lot of people, guys like him are ruthless, like that guy Thomas that I killed that tried to rape Sophia, we can't trust people out here , not out here not anymore.

Beth then said " but you trust me, I laughed and said " ya of course I do, Beth then said " but you'll accept that you trust some people.. like you trusted me and my family , you guys didn't even know anything about us but you guys trusted us, I replied " we'll if your dad, wasn't their , Carl might have died that day. Beth then said " but you trust, Carl and Sophia, I replied of course I do their my friends, Beth then continued and said " you also trust, Madison , Daryl, my dad, and Maggie. I replied " oh okay , I trust some of them cause I knew them longer , Beth then asked " what about Merle and Glenn, I replied " Merle is all right by me, but Glenn fuck no, he can't even keep he's fucking mouth shut,.. he could,t even keep the secret about me and Sophia, and I had problems with Carl. Beth replied " what about what about Christa , Omid, Steve and Adam. I replied " we have the same problems taking the governor out, and if we all work together , we have a higher chance of killing him, Christa and Omid know a little about him, and Adam and Steve, have some shooting experience so we could use them.

Beth then looked at me and said " oh yea right , its something else .. come on tell me, I replied " that's the truth im dead serious, Beth then said " come on what is it , I replied " oh ok you got me , the truth is, I trust some people but, im having trouble with that, ever since.. the accident. Beth replied " what accident , I replied " before all of this started , I had problems of trust, I didn't trust people , only myself , trust issues. The only one's I trusted were myself, and Carl , anyway I guess .. this trust issues has made me prepared for this world, more fit, it has taught me not to trust people and to be careful around strangers, so now , im not so friendly to people I don't know.

Beth then said " But you trusted me when we met and we were strangers I replied " yea if Carl never got shot I guess we would never have met. Beth replied " so you admit you do care for other's like me and Carl, I replied ok all right , Carl's my best friend and i'll do anything 2 keep him and Sophia alive. And you Beth I love you, your gorgeous and ur beautiful singing voice helps the group during tough times, Beth smiled and then said " so you admit ur not as tough as you think, are you tough guy. I started to blush , but Beth then said " aww I knew it, I knew it , I knew u had some good in you that you weren't such a bad guy.

I replied " I hide my emotion's cause if I show my feelings then, I let my guard down, and when people let their guard down shit happens. Beth smiled and then said in a sweet ascent looks like your not as tough as you thought you were, I replied " for you, i'd be a sweet boy or a jerk but i'll still be yours Beth giggled and then kissed me in the cheek then in the lips for about 15 seconds.

I then asked " heyy so we're going out now.. , Beth interrupted me and said " of course we are silly, I continued and said " so I want to know more about u we've known each other for about 2 years and a half I don't know what you did before, Beth replied " alright if you want to know more about me i'll tell you. Beth started talking " Nothing special , about me I just went to school like any other kid my age. I went to a public school, it was fun, everyone their was nice and cool, when I first entered high school I had a crush on Jimmy. I wore some of the sexiest clothes, but he still didn't notice me, then a few months later , I was talking to some of the coolest girls ever. Then finally Jimmy started noticing me, and we got to know each other a lot more, and we became actually good friends.

Anyway at home I didn't really do nothing except did what daddy wanted, and helped around the house. Me and Maggie got along okay,we were all happy then, and Daddy was happy for having us, and my step mom was a beautiful woman she was always their for me , when I was having a hard time,and my brother Shawn was overprotective but I still loved him. We were all happy and together no body died we were all 1 big happy family, we were all alive. Ti'll it all started, Me and Jimmy started going out when the walker virus first started and it started airing on the news, during the whole thing Jimmy's parents were killed , so we took him in our house , to protect him and all of us too from the walkers. That was a bad time and scary we lost a lot of people, friends, neighbors , family.

Beth then started to cry, while talking about Jimmy , remembering him , I then said " we'll at least he's not a walker anymore. Beth then replied " yea I know you had to put him down, but he was such a great guy you know, I replied I know what you mean, I answered yea I liked him too, sorry for having to hurt him, Beth smiled and said " its alright im just happy he's in a better place now.

Beth then asked me, what I did before the world went to shit, I answered truthfully and told her my whole story before the walkers started to walk the earth. Beth replied " im sorry for everything you lost, but we can come back from this right, I answered " what come back to the people we were before,.. no.. maybe in the future they'll will be fewer walkers.

But we can never come, back we are who we are now, all we can hope for is to stay alive and to survive as long as we can. Beth replied " I guess so, I then told her to practice reloading her silence pistol that it cold use some work, she does so and while practicing reloading her silence pistol she started to sing, and I soon fell asleep from the sound of her singing.

The Next Day..

I woke up , it was it was morning I spotted Beth sleeping like an angel, I let her sleep some more, and I quietly went downstairs. I just sat in the stairway and waited for Beth to wake up which was like 2 more hours.

" Hey Beth said to me, I replied hey did you sleep good, Beth nods and says sure did, especially with you by my side, I reply that's good anyway, let me see you reload the gun now, she does it real fast I smile and say good. I grabb a sniper rifle from the my bag and handed it to Beth and told her to try to shoot the broken truck's tires outside I told her to look in the scope and carefully aim and to keep the rifle steady. She did but missed the 1st shot then took another shot and hit the truck window, she took another shot and finally hit the tire. I rewarded her by kissing her, Beth then took another shot but missed and just made a bullet hole in the truck, she missed the other 5 shots, I then went up to her and held her arms positioning her and the sniper rifle in a good shooting position.

" Now remember just take a deep breth and hold the gun steady and don't be scared , im here with you, Beth took a deep breath , closed her eyes and pulled the trigger hitting the 2nd tire of the truck. Now try to do it without me, I told Beth" Beth closed her eyes and took a deep breath then pulled the trigger and hit the 3rd tire, then she took another shot and hit the 4th tire in 1 shot. Good job I said to Beth happily , then I took out my knife and went to a tree next to the cabin and marked it , I told Beth to try to shoot the marks I made which was like 6 marks on the tree, she did and she got every mark perfectly in a row without missing.

Then I told Beth to shoot the cabin windows and she did , and hit them perfectly, afterwards she shot other stuff with the sniper rifle and was getting pretty good at shooting with it. Me and Beth then went inside the cabin, and we drank some whisky she didn't want that much though and afterwards I listened to her beautiful voice , then we fell asleep for 1 hour, ti'll we packed up and decided to head back to the prison.

While we were heading back I told Beth to practice killing walkers, she was killing them with her silence pistol and was a monster at it, then as we were getting real close to the prison she started killing the walkers with her sniper rifle easily she was like a pro now, she kept taking them out ti'll we finally reached the prison.
