The next day ..
Sophia's pov " I woke up it was say time, I turned around to see my mother sleeping next to me that's when I remembered what happened last night with Carl. I just hope he's alright , im worried about him, he just lost he's mom and is having nightmares about her, this kind of stuff messes up the mind pretty good.
I went to go get breakfast at the cafeteria, everyone was their we were all having a good time, then I noticed Carl wasn't their. I asked Rick, if he knew where Carl was , he yelled for Carl but no respond came, Rick then said " he must be sleeping , Beth then looked to me and said " don't worry he'll be okay.
After breakfast I went to Carl's cell, we'll our cell, I found him sleeping, he was so peaceful and gentle, sleeping he was adorable, so I decided to let him rest some more. 2 hours later I went to check up on Carl, he needed the rest since, he was so stressful yesterday anyway I went to check up on him. When I got their I found Carl still sleeping , I went to find Rick and asked him what time it is he said it was , 12:00 , I then went back to Carl's cell , " okay he's been sleeping for way too long, he never sleeps this long, I went inside Carl's cell and said " Carl are you awake " he didn't reply. Okay something strange is going on, I put my hand on he's forehead and he didn't notice me, I started shaking him and said " Carl wake, up he didn't answer I tried a second time and said " hey Carl wake up , he didn't respond.
I tried again louder, " Hey Carl come on sleepy wake up, he still wouldn't move or wake up I checked he's heart , and it wasn't beating he's body wasn't moving at all. I was scared, scared of losing him. I shook him again again and said " come on Carl everyone is waiting for you, now come on wake up , no sign of life, I could feel tears in my eye's I shook him again and talked louder really load " Carl please please wake up please, sorry for last night, your right alright , it was your choice I should,t have bothered you, you had to figure your self out on your own, im sorry now please wake up.
When Carl didn't wake I was really scared now , I screamed for the others and they came in running , Rick said if everything was okay , I replied " that something was going on with Carl and he wasn't waking up, Rick tried but no respond from Carl, Hershel then said , let me try " I just sat next to Carl's cell while I waited for Hershel to tell us what was wrong, Hershel came out and had a sad face on him, Rick too, Hershel said " do you guys want the good news or the bad news, I answered " good news " Hershal replied " we'll the good news is that their is a chance of him living. "Now the bad news is,m he's in a coma might be for a couple of days without the right treatment and rest he'll die, now i'll see what kind of medicine we have to help" I then said what caused this , Hershel replied " we'll by the looks of it is having too much stress and can do lots of thing to your mind and body , he's in a lot of stress by losing he's mom or if somebody was giving him a hard time, after everything that's happing.
2 days later..
I have been staying with Carl as he recovers but he still hasn't even moved yet, he has been out cold for 2 days now. When ever I see Carl I picture him as a walker, im afraid of losing him, I don't want him to leave me. Im sitting right next to him holding he's hands and every now and then I start crying on him.
I looked at Carl and started talking to him even though I know he doesn't hear him , I said to him " I remember the 1st time I layed on you. you were the hot popular boy that everyone admired you stood up for everyone, and me I was just the shy new girl who tried to find her away around the school, when I 1st met you, I was afraid that if you found out I liked you , you would never talk to me again. When you reveled your feelings to me you don't know how happy you made me that day, You who everyone wanted to be like, who everyone looked up to was in love with me.
Tears started dripping from my eyes and my voice started cracking " We fought sometimes yea but in the end we always made up and you gave me chances. Even when I cheated on you, I feel so bad I don't deserve you im sorry for everything I've done to hurt you.
I cried into Carl's shirt reminding him of some of the times we had together , and telling him how much I miss him and if he could please wake up. I then heard footsteps behind me I turn around and see Maggie, she says " how is he doing I respond " well he's still unconscious , Maggie responded " hey don't worry he'll be ok, I reply " how can you be so sure, Maggie responds " we'll he's been able to keep you alive hasn't he , so he should be able too keep himself alive too , plus he's 1 tough kid". I look at Maggie then I said " maybe your right, I hope he gets better, I don't want to lose him, Maggie said " don't worry he'll survive now come on go get something to eat your exhausted i'll look after him, I thank her before leaving.
I go in the kitchen and find something to eat, I put together a sandwich and eat it slowly, but as im eating I can't but think about Carl if he's going to be all right, its all my fault, he's like this because of me. Me lying and cheating on him was stressing him out, I was worrying him, he has other problems and the last thing he needs is me being a burden by failing him, I tried to make him forget about he's mother to move forward but maybe it's ok, I should have left him think , to make he's own decisions , im not mad at him for putting a gun to my face.
As I was walking I bumped into Rick he asked me if I can do watch and I agree anything to keep my mid off Carl. as im looking for anything weird, I see something coming out, its too fast to be a walker so it has to be a person, as it got closer I noticed it was a girl and it had blond hair,
as it got closer and closer, it looked familiar , ti'll I recognized the person it was Amy.I ran inside and told everyone that Amy was outside the fence , everyone ran outside, and Merle gave us the " all clear" that it looked like she was alone. As she got closer and closer I saw that Amy had a walker with her, its hands were cut off and its teeth were removed.
Rick yelled " Are you alone, Amy replied " open the gate , Rick then said " I said are you alone, Amy replied Rick, Rick gave me the look that said to open the gate and I opened the gate and let Amy in.
We let her inside the prison, and we all just stared at her shocked that she was alive. I went up to Amy and said to her after the farm we all thought you were dead, Amy then said " no I made it somehow.
Amy then said " where's everybody where's Lori, Rick looked down and then Hershel said " She had a miscarriage, then Amy said " what about Tdog and Shane, Cristian answered her question and said " Tdog sacrificed himself for Carol , walkers got in here and he distracted them buying her enough time to get out. That night at the farm the whole Randal thing was a trap he tried to kill Rick. Amy then said what about Car"l , Rick answered " he's knocked out he's sick but still alive, Amy then said , what about Tony , Madison replied " after the farm we found this house, it over run by walkers and Tony was eaten alive, Amy looked at Madison and said " oh Madison im so sorry.
Amy then said " wow you guys have been through the roof , .. Amy then saw so you guys live here, Cristian then said " your standing right next to our cell blocks, Amy then said " can I have a look, Rick then got in front of Amy and said " I won't allow that, Amy replied " im not an enemy Rick . Rick replied " we had that field courtyard outside unti'll your boyfriend broke through the fences witha truck and shot us up, Amy replied " he said you guys fired first, Rick replied " he's lying , Hershel then said " he killed an inmate who survived in here, Cristian then said " yea we liked him he was a good guy , he was one of us. Amy replied " I didn't know anything about that .. as soon as I found out I came .. I didn't even know you guys were in woodbury until after the shootout !
Glenn then said " that was days ago, Amy replied " I told you, I came as soon as I could . Amy then faced Michonne and said " what have you told them, Michone replied " nothing just the truth. Amy then looked at all of us and said " I don't get it I've lived in Atlanta with you people and now im the odd man out , Glenn replied " he almost killed Michonne and he would of killed us. Amy then pointed to Merle and said " with he's finger in the trigger isn't he the one who kidnapped you , who beat you .. I can not excuse or explain what philip has done , but im here trying to bring us all together .. we have to work this out. Rick then said in a serious voice " theirs nothing to work out , were gonna kill him , I don't know how or when but were gonna kill him , Amy replied " we can settle this , their is room at woodbury for , all you.
Merle laughed and said " you know better then that , Hershal then said " what makes you so sure this man wants to negotiate , did he say that. Amy replied " no, Cristian then said " then why did you come , Amy replied cause he's preparing for war , the people are terrified , they see you guys as killers , their training to attack , Cristian then looked at Amy and said " tell you what next time you see the governor tell him me and Daryl are gonna take he's other eye. Cristian then said " we've taken way too much shit for too long he wants a war he fucking has one . Amy then turned to face Rick and told him " Rick if you don't sit down and try to work this out , I don't know what's gonna happen , he has a whole town , we recently brought another group of 20 people in and we found another group of 4 people, and were getting more and more people by the day , woodbury has about 80 survivors so far.
Amy looked down and said " look at you guys , all of you guys have lost so much already .. you can't stand alone anymore, Rick then said " you want to make this right get us inside, Amy replied no , Rick then said then we got nothing to talk about, Amy screamed " their are innocent people in their, the governor's men just protect them! Rick then left angrily and I said to Amy " this guy is dangerous, we have to kill him sorry Amy and I went to check on Carl.
I went to Carl's cell he was still out cold , I put my hand on he's forehead to see if their was any kind of reaction or if he had a fever he was burning, I got an ice pack and put it on he's head, I then kissed him in the cheeks, and told him to feel better soon.
20 Minutes Later..
I went to the kitchen and made my self a little snack then on my way to see mom I bumped into Amy and I said " oh sorry Amy, she replied " its okay Sophia, I then said " so how long are you gonna stay , Amy answered " just until it gets dark. Amy then said " so can I can I see the baby , I answered " sure Beth has it, she's probably in her cell , as we were walking to find Beth I told Amy, you know when Lori died, Carl had to be the one to put her down, he put a bullet in her head, after that he was't the same just colder , he barely even payed any attention to me , its like he had no emotions he's main goal was too survive. Amy then said " oh my gosh, I answered " yea I think he just couldn't take it anymore and passed out..and now he's in a coma.
I looked at Amy and said " its all my fault how could I just let him do it, I should have been the one. Maybe I could have done something, to prevent him from going down that dark road Amy replied and said " hey don't blame yourself it's not your fault, it had to be him to put her down anyone who had to do that, wouldn't be the same. We talked and talked until we finally arrived at Beth's cell, she was singing to Judith, she handed me the baby and I carried her for a bit, ti'll I asked Amy " hey you wanna carry little ass kicker? Amy laughed and said " what little ass kicker that's not her name , I laughed and then said " no that's the nickname Daryl gave her. Amy looked at the baby and then said " so whats her real name " I answered " Judith, Amy then started playing with the baby and said " oh hi Judith your so cute aren't you. Amy then said " so how does Carl act around her, he doesn't hate the baby does he ? I answered " no he loves her, he may not have enough time to interact with Judith here, but he always makes sure someone is taking care of her, Amy smiled and then gave Judith back to Beth and said " let me see Carl, I looked down and said " alright he's out cold though, Amy said " I know I just want to see how bad it is.
We arrived at the cell that both Carl and I share , we went inside and Carl was still unconscious, Amy then said " gosh i'm sorry Sophia , you must be extremely worried , I nodded and said " I am, Amy replied " don't worry he's tough he'll make it through this, I replied " I hope your right, Amy then said " I know he will, .. gosh you guys are so big now, last time I saw you guys , you two were rally short now look at you 2. I smiled and said " yea we were, Amy then said " anyway im gonna talk to Rick see ya , and I replied" see ya.
Amy went to find Rick and I was with Carl hopping he'll wake up soon, I just stared at Carl remembering the good times we had together, I held he's hand and said to him " I love you Carl I have since the moment I layed eyes on you , and I always will, I love you.
You know Amy is here she's alive , turns out she's part of the governors group, please wake up so you can greet her. I went to get Judith and brought her to where Carl was , just looking at Judith reminds me of Carl , and Lori too, but while looking at Judith tears started to drip from my eyes , I then looked at Carl seeing him like this, it hurts me, , I then looked at Judith and then started singing while carrying.
It's unclear now, what we intend

after singing to Judith she fell asleep and I put her in her crib then went back to check on Carl and I sat next to he's bed and I slowly started to fall asleep.
Night time..
I woke up, little did I know that I was sleeping on Carl ,I held he's hand and then kissed him in the lips, I was about to kiss him again when Rick called me, I said to Carl " don't worry i'll be back , promise and I kissed he's hand.
I went to find Rick and the other's and I told them what was happening , Rick said " nothing much Amy's about to go back to woodbury , I then said to Amy , why don't you stay with us , Amy replied " sorry Sophia but I can't those people need me. I looked at Amy and then said " ok I get it you have a responsibility .. just be careful ok, Amy replied " ok, I then hugged Amy in a friend way, and everyone else waved their goodbye, except for Carl who still hasn't woken up. We brought Amy outside and we let her use a cop car, but before driving off Amy said to me " tell Carl hi, for me when he wakes, up I replied " sure thing, Amy then said " don't worry he'll pull through it he's a tough kid,.. you two have really grown , and with that Amy drove back to woodbury.
Amy left and was heading back to woodbury and I went back to check on Carl , " we'll Amy just left I told him. I then just stared at him and said " I wish you'd wake up already, each day your like this, the chances of you being dead are higher and higher, I then grabbed Carl's hand , and we stayed like that for about 2 minuets, ti'll I got in the bed with him and put my hand oh he's cheek and then kissed him on the neck.
I then kissed him in the lips no movement from him, I then started to cry I got up and locked the door and put the curtains on so nobody could see us and I took out my knife, and I turned to Carl and said " im sorry, and then kissed him on the lips and then , grabbed my knife steady and was ready to strike Carl the knife got closer and closer to he's head, when I was about to stab him, when Carl coughed .
My eyes widened " holy shit I thought, I tapped Carl and grabbed Carl hand and .. and I felt a small movement from 1 of Carl's fingers, I fell down and a smile showed on my face. I went up to him and said " Carl are you awake get up , wake up, I yelled for Rick and he came running and said " what's happening I replied " Carl he moved , Rick showed a big smile on he's face and then he said " are you serious, yea, I replied. Rick went to get Hershel, and I just stared at Carl thinking is he really gonna make it through this, I was so happy, Hershel and Rick then came in and Hershel took a look at Carl, Hershel asked me " so he moved I replied " first he coughed and then while I was holding he's hand he moved he's fingers.
Hershel was examining Carl's body when Carl moved he's fingers , Hershel then smiled and said " looks like he might be alright after all really, Rick had a smile on he's face and then said to me mind if I can be in here with my son , I smiled and said " sure no problem.
I went outside to do watch on the left guard tower , I was happy Carl was going to be okay, when he wakes up and he's ok were going to have fun, me and him don't really have anyfun we just kiss and do stuff. Im worried about him, though what happened to him , he just went crazy that day , I was lost in my thoughts when someone tapped me breaking me out of my thoughts.
I turn around to see it was my mom , " hi mom" I said " she replies " hi how are you doing sweety , I then reply I um.. i'm .. i'm doing really good, mom raised an eyebrow and said " really are you really doing alright , your boyfriends in bad shape , I looked down and then mom said " aren't you worried about him , I looked down and said " no he's gonna make it I know it. Mom replied " are you sure , anything can happen , I looked down and then , mom said " look Sophia honey your worried about him I know it , if he dies you have to be their for him , that word dies , dies just kept repeating in my head finally I snapped I hugged mom and I admitted to her that I was scarred , mom then said " I know darling just be their for him all right I nodded and I went to see Carl right when Rick left he's cell.
I went to check on Carl when I heard Rick's voice it was coming from Carl's cell so I waited ti'll he finished. When Rick saw me he said , can you give me a couple more minutes, nodded and said yes , I asked him if he would want anything to eat and Rick replied " yes please and for Carl he's gonna be hungry when he wakes up , I smiled and said " yea he will.
I went to the kitchen and made some cookies which took about 15 minutes to make when I finished I went back to the cell and gave the cookies to Rick he took a bite out of one and he said " mm pretty good. Thanks I replied , Rick was about to eat another one when someone said " mm what's that it smells good, we turned around to see it was Carl , he was awake with both of he's eyes open he was barely awake, I went up to him and said " heyy sleepy head your finally awake , Carl responded " yea but im a little bit hungry though, Rick then went to get Hershal.
I just stared at Carl , he was so weak , so miserable and while looking at him I broke down and cried I grabbed he's hand and put my head on he's chest and said " .. I .. I thought you were really going to die .. I was scared .. I thought you weren't gonna make it, Carl then touched my hair and said " don't worry Sophia , im still here " yea I replied, then I said to Carl " Carl im .. im sorry , Carl looked at me and said " for what , I replied " earlier today while you were out , I was going to kill you.. so you wouldn't have to suffer anymore, Carl replied " if it did come down to that you made the right choice , i'll give up my life for you anytime even if its by the hands of my own girl friend Carl joked , I smiled and kissed him on the lips , Carl kissed back , we had to separate when Rick walked in with Hershel and said " all right love birds that's enough Hershel then said " let me take a look at him.
Hershel was checking if Carl was all right or had anything bad, Hershel then asked how are you feeling Carl responded " we'll my head hurts , im tired and im having this images of people I've seen who are already dead, I then asked " like who Carl replied " Rachael , Jim , Shane , mom ,ted, Andrea, Dale and T dog.
Rick then said " don't worry Carl try to get some sleep alright," alright Carl said " I then went up to Carl and kissed him on the cheek and said " yea take care try to get some sleep , yea Carl said , sadly , then I said oh by the way Carl , about that day at night when you pointed your gun at me I forgive you, Carl looked at me and said " i'm sorry , I then said we'll talk about it in the morning all right, all right Carl said .
