Rick POV
I looked down at Vi, who was sleeping on my shoulder, and sighed.
She and Daryl have been having problems lately. Everyone's noticed. They haven't spoken since Terminus. Daryl has mostly been around Carol and I've seen Vi look at them. It reminded me of Lori and I when we first got to the prison, when I always ignored her.
"Rick." I looked up at Sasha, "Bob's missing."
I looked around, noticing that he was, indeed, gone.
"Maybe he's outside. Go look for him." I told her and she nodded.
Once the door closed, I carefully lifted Violet off of me and onto the floor. I covered her in a blanket before grabbing my gun and I stood up. I looked around once more. Daryl and Carol were gone, too.
Vi POV
I woke up when I heard yelling. I sat up and saw Sasha talking to Gabriel.
"Where are our people?!" Sasha asked.
I looked around. Daryl was gone and so was Carol and Bob.
"I don't have anything to do with this." Gabriel answered.
"Why'd you bring us here?" Rick asked.
"Look, please, I-I..."
"You working with someone?" Rick accused.
"I'm alone." Gabriel said. "I'm alone. I was always alone."
"What about back when we were at the food bank, Gabriel. What did you do to her? 'You'll burn for this'? That was for you. Why? What are you gonna burn for, Gabriel?" Rick grabbed Gabriel, "What did you do? What did you do?!"
"I lock the doors at night. I always lock the doors at night, always." Gabriel started crying, "They started coming. The congregation. Atlanta was bombed the night before and they were scared and they were looking for a safe place. It was so early and the doors were still locked. You see, it was my choice. There was so many of them and they were trying to pry the shutters and banging the sides, screaming at me. And so the dead came for them. Woman... children... entire families calling my name as they were torn apart, begging me for mercy, begging me for mercy. Damning me to Hell. I buried their bones. I buried it all. The Lord sent you here to finally punish me." Gabriel went down on his knees, "I'm damned. I was damned before. I always lock the doors. I always lock the doors."
I heard whistling, and Maggie and I walked towards the windows to see what was happening.
"There's someone outside lying in the grass." I said.
Sasha went towards the doors and she, Rick, Tyreese, Tara and Glenn went outside.
"Bob!"
I heard gunshots and Tara and Sasha carried in a one-legged Bob.
"Oh my god." I whispered.
"Mommy?" I turned around and saw Jamie come out of the room.
"Go over to Carl, baby." I told him and he nodded.
We sat by Bob as he woke up, "I was in the graveyard. Somebody knocked me out. I woke up outside this place, it looked like a school. It was that guy, Gareth, and five other ones. They were eating my leg right in front of me. Like it was nothin'. All proud, like they had it all figured out."
"Did they have Daryl and Carol?" Rick asked.
"Gareth said they drove off." Bob answered and I stood up.
I didn't want to hear anymore. He left. With Carol.
I faced Bob as he revealed his walker bite, "It had me at the food bank."
I walked over to Carl and Jamie and sat between them and they both put their heads on my shoudlers.
"There's a sofa in my office." Gabriel said, "I know it's not much, but..."
"Thank you."
Tyreese went to put Bob in the office and Judith began crying. I went into the office to grab her.
"Time for a reality check." Abraham said, "We all need to leave for DC, right now."
"Daryl and Carol are gonna be back." Rick replied. "We're not going anywhere without them."
"I respect that. But there's a clear threat here for Eugene and I need to extract his ass before things get any uglier. So if y'all don't wnat to come, good luck to you. We'll go our separate ways." Abraham responded.
"You leaving on foot?" Rick asked.
"We fixed that damn bus ourselves." Abraham said.
"There are a lot more of us." Rick stated.
"You want to keep it that way? You should come."
"Carol saved your life. We saved your life-"
"I am trying to save yours!" Abraham yelled. "Save everyone's!"
"We're not going anywhere without our people." Rick said.
"Your people took off." Abraham replied.
"They're coming back."
"To what?!" Abraham responded, "Picked over bones?!"
They began to fight and Glenn split them up, "Do you really think that you're going to be any safer leaving right now, in the middle of the night?" Glenn asked Abraham.
"Yeah." He answered.
"What about tomorrow? We need each other for this. We need each other to get to DC. We can get through all of this together." Glenn said.
"I have an idea." Tara spoke up, "If you stay just one more day, I'll go with you to DC. No matter what." She faced Rick, "Okay?"
"Glenn, Maggie, and Princess, too."
My head snapped over to him, what?
