Later that night Starscream was jolted awake when he heard banging on the door of his hotel room.

"What is it?" The Seeker asked as he opened the door and found Windblade on the other side.

"Ratchet just called me we need to go to the hospital he said it's an emergency!" She told him.

"No!" Starscream thought as his spark began to race, What if Knock Out had taken a turn for the worst, Or they arrived only to be told the red medic had died, or what if Night Rain had managed to sneak in and do something to red spots car or hired someone else to do it?

The seeker's wings dropped worried about his best friend, And Windblade put a servo on his shoulder having been told about what happened to Knock Out and knew why Starscream was worried.

Then the two called for a ground bridge and went through it to get to the hospital wanting to get there and find out what was going on as soon as possible.

Upon arriving at the hospital Starscream and Windblade wasted no time locating Ratchet to find out what was going on.

"What's the emergency?" Asked Windblade.

"Is Knock Out alright?" Starscream almost screamed the question being all nerves do to everything he had been going through.

"Knock Out's condition hasn't changed but that's not what the emergency is about." Ratchet told the seeker who felt relieved that his friend wasn't dead, His condition hadn't changed but at least he was still alive.

"What happened then?" Starscream questioned.

"Arcee and a vehicon went to your house to look for any more clues to help catch Night Rain and there was a bomb in your living room under the couch the vehicon set on it and unknowingly activated it." Ratchet explained.

"The vehicon was killed instantly and Arcee was blasted into a wall, Fortunately she's going to be fine, There was some serious damage to her legs but nothing that can't be fixed she's mostly just upset that she'll be on bed rest for a few days till we can get her legs repaired." He added.

Then Starscream and Windblade went back to see Arcee and were glad she was ok and Starscream apologized for what happened, But Arcee told him he didn't have to knowing it wasn't his fault that Night Rain was targeting him and that he was the victim in all this.

And they all agreed that Starscream should stay at the hotel since Night Rain was planting explosives in his house now.

"Oh your getting tired I should go now." Arcee told them before going into recharge.

Then Starscream and Windblade looked at each other confused.

"I may have given her some pain killers for her legs a few minutes before you two came back to see her." Said First Aid who had been tending to Arcee.

Then Starscream and Windblade understood why the two wheeler had been acting a bit loopy before going into recharge.

Then upon leaving Arcee's room so she could rest Windblade went to talk to Prowl and Wheeljack who she saw in the hallway.

While Starscream stopped to look at the body of the vehicon and found Steve morning his fallon friend and again Starscream apologized only to be told that it wasn't his fault and no one blamed him for any of it.

But Starscream still felt responsible thinking none of them would be in danger or have gotten hurt if Night Rain wasn't after him for revenge.

Then Starscream went and spoke with Prowl and learned that the explosives had been stolen from Wheeljack who apologized and promised to get better locks, But some good new is the grenade and the bomb were the only two stolen so they might not have to worry about being blown up anymore unless Night Rain was able to get more somehow.

And given everything that was happening everyone decided to start being extra careful, Which Starscream was glad for not wanting anymore of his friends to be harmed by his psychopath stalker.

Windblade agreed to keep staying in the hotel room next to his so she could help him if Night Rain showed up and told Starscream if he needed her at the hotel she would be staying in room 5 and went ahead.

"I'll bridge there later." Starscream told her, And thanked her for basically trying to be his bodyguard but was secretly worried not wanting Night Rain to hurt Windblade if she came after him.

Starscream went back to see Knock Out who was still in the same condition as before, the seeker hated seeing him this way, Starscream had always known Knock Out to be active fun loving and outgoing and was used to seeing him well kept and full of life, Always cracking jokes and wanting to have a good time.

Seeing him now hooked to machines, unresponsive and his frame heavily damaged just felt wrong, The Austin Martin looked like he was knocking on death's door and it broke Starscream's spark not knowing if the bot he had come to see as a brother would survive or if he would have any permanent damage from this.

Then Ratchet came in and he and Starscream started talking both of them felt worried for Knock Out and secretly wanted to make the one's who did this to him pay.

Then Ratchet told Starscream about how he had planned to leave Knock Out in charge of the hospital, And Starscream told him about how he and Knock Out had overheard him and Optimus talking about that and apologized for listening in and told Ratchet about Knock Out's insecurities about it.

Ratchet told him it was alright and that it would be Knock Out's choice if he wanted to be in charge of the hospital or not, and Ratchet and Starscream were both sad that now Knock Out may not survive to make that choice or might be unable to do it, if he had any lasting damage it might make it impossible for him to even be a medic no less run a hospital, Even if he lived what if the choice had already been taken from him?

Then Starscream left to go back to the hotel while Ratchet stayed in Knock Out's room not wanting to leave his son's side.

"Why didn't you tell me you were having all those doubts?" Ratchet said as he gently put his servo on his son's shoulder.

"You may have been a Decepticon once but you've more then made up for anything you did in the past and you're a very skilled medic I mean your my son after all you definitely inherited my skills, And you have you Carrier's confidence and determination she loved to race just like you do and she never gave up when she had her mind set on something." Ratchet told him.

"That's why I know you can beat this and recover and be as good as new, And when you do you can make the choice of if you want to run this hospital or not and whatever choice you make, Whatever you decide to be I'll support you, Because no matter what you decide to be you'll always be my son and I'll always be proud of you." Ratchet finished.

Meanwhile Starscream was on his way down the hallway to use the ground bridge to go back to the hotel.

When he was suddenly grabbed from behind and felt a servo clamp over his mouth before he had a chance to call out for help and was dragged down the hallway as he continued to struggle with whoever had him.

Whoever it was they were too big to be Night Rain, Starscream continued struggling and panicking having been taken completely off guard by the attack.

Then whoever was dragging him slammed his helm against a wall, it didn't render him unconscious but it did leave him dazed then the bot opened a door down one of the hallways in the hospital and tossed the seeker inside before slamming and locking it behind him.

Starscream recovered his senses a few minutes later and jumped up and started trying to open the door but it wouldn't budge and panic set in as he realized he was trapped in a closed space and his seeker claustrophobia started to kick in.
