So, this story should be wrapping up soon. Maybe, like, three more chapters. That's our estimate but we'll see.

Chelsea's POV:

Roxy and I managed to take down the dragon while Reece dealt with the Minotaur. I used my whip to clamp the dragon's mouth shut while she grabbed what was inside the package – a crossbow loaded with special arrows that could pierce through metal – and shot the dragon a few times. One of the arrows went through its head and it shut down and collapsed to the ground. I unfurled my whip from around its mouth and it curled back around my wrist. I turned to grin at Roxy but she had a look of horror on her face that made me spin around to see what she was looking at.

The Minotaur was facing Reece, who had one of the beast's horns protruding from his stomach. Blood dripped down it and it was all I could do not to scream. As much as I disliked Reece, even I couldn't argue with the fact that we'd grown closer through the quest and at the very least, we could stand each other. A noise behind me brought me back and I turned in time to see Roxy grab the crossbow and shoot the Minotaur in the head with it. The monster dissolved into a sand-like substance with a scream of agony, and Reece collapsed onto the ground. Roxy and I ran towards him.

"Reece? Reece!" she said frantically. That left me being the level-headed one. Was that really a smart decision?

"Roxs, calm down," I said. "He'll be fine." I rummaged in my bag and pulled out a canteen of nectar, then slowly poured the contents into Reece's mouth. Roxy looked like she wanted to do it, but her hands were shaking and she'd probably spill it. After a few sips, the color started to return to his skin and his eyes fluttered open.

"Ow," was all he said. I rolled my eyes while we helped him stand.

"We'll have to give you some time to rest," I said. "We can't take you on a plane like this."

"No kidding," Reece said. He was mostly leaning on Roxy but I did what I could to help.

"Let's head back to the hotel. I'd say we've earned a break," Roxy said. I couldn't agree more.

Sorry that it's short but I'm tired. And uninspired. And still drowning in feels from Blood of Olympus.
