Kuroko woke up the next day in her own bed. After she got home last night (with Kagami), she explained to her parents that she tripped and fell down a steep hill, and Kagami showed up and brought her home. Her parents thanked Kagami as he went his own way. Later that night, Kuroko explained to her parents that she was having a little trouble in school but Kagami helped her and now everything was okay and they could go home. They were resillient, but agreed to return on the promise that they could each buy her something really nice before they left.

Kuroko rinsed her face in her bathroom, placing bandaids over her cuts and heading back to her room to change out of her pajamas. After dressing slightly casually (wearing her basketball jacket over a black t-shirt and basketball shorts), she met her parents at the door, and the three headed out to the shopping mall.

"Tetsuya, you don't have a cellphone yet, do you?" Her dad asked. Kuroko shook her head no.

Kuroko's dad grinned and placed his hand on her head. "Would you like a new cellphone, Tetsuya?"

Kuroko thought before responding. She looked into her father's eyes. "Yes," she said with eminating determination.

Kuroko's father led them to the one electronics store. The bell rang as the entered.

"Pick whichever phone you want, Tetsuya. My treat."

Kuroko looked through the selection many times, unable to decide which phone she wanted. Looking at one particular model brought back flashbacks.

"Kuroko, got a number?" Kagami asked, pulling out his phone.

Kuroko shook her head. "No."

"How do you not have a phone?" he asked.

Kuroko huffed and tunred around in her seat. "Kagami-kun's being a Pervert Bully Stalker again."

"Wh-What?!"

Kuroko brought her parents over to the phone and pointed at it through the glass. "This one," she said.

Her dad called an employee over. Kuroko showed the employee which phone she wanted, and the employee showed them to the register.

"This model has differet colors. Which color do you have in mind? We have red, black, white, yellow, green, pink, purple-"

"Blue?" Kuroko stared intently into the employee's eyes.

"I think we still have some blue left, let me see." The employee headed into the back of the store before shortly returning. He placed two different shades of blue phones on the counter.

"We don't have plain blue, but we have turqiouse, or this really light blue here."

Kuroko pointed to the light blue one. "This one," she said. Her parents smiled. "I'm paying," her dad said.

After setting up her email and covering the basics, Kuroko and her parents left the electronics store and began walking around and windowshopping other buildings.

Window after window, Kuroko looked through one window and immdiately knew it was what she wanted. She tugged on her mom's sleeve.

"That," she said, pointing to the object through the window.

Kuroko's mom approached the window. "This specific one? Are you sure?" she asked.

"Yes. Exactly this one," Kuroko said. Her mom smiled and they walked inside the store.

Kagami yawned as her walked around the neighborhood. 'We haven't had practice in a while,' he thought as he walked past the basketball court. He stopped for a second to stare before walking past.

Kagami heard a soft yip before freezing in place. Kagami slowly turned around, noticing a small dog on the ground behind him. He screamed loudly and jumped over the court fence, falling on his back on the court terf.

"Kagami-kun?" Kuroko called. Kagami looked up to see Kuroko holding a leash with the small dog on the end. He also noticed, somehow, the two had the same eyes.

"Y-You have...a-a-a dog?...?!" Kagami stuttered nervously.

Kuroko picked up her dog and brought him up to the fence. "What's wrong, Kagami-kun?"

Kagami scuttled backwards, breathing rapidly, a look of horror on his face.

"Kagami-kun...is afraid of dogs?" Kuroko asked. Kagami nodded his head with uncertainty. "I would chase Kagami-kun around, but..." Kuroko put her dog down and pulled her phone out of her jacket pocket. "What is your email, Kagami-kun?"

Kagami stood up and approached Kuroko excitedly. He pulled out his phone and handed it to her through the fence. "Here, give me your phone and we''l enter each other's emails."

Kuroko handed Kagami her phone and opened Kagami's phone. "Look, Kuroko, you have the same model as me!"

"What a coincidence."

Kuroko finished putting in her email and they returned each other's phones. Kuroko put her phone in her pocket and looked into Kagami's eyes.

"I'm going to take him back home now."

"O-Okay..." Kagami said. Kuroko walked away towards her house.

'I wanted to tell her...well, I have her number now, so...' Kagami thought to himself.

Kuroko reached her house and let her dog into her backyard. Her cellphone chimed, vibrating in her pocket. She pulled it out and found she had one new message - from Kagami.

'Kagami-kun...'

Kuroko's face became hot as she responded. She proof-read her message before sending.

Kuroko hastily pushed send, anxiously awaiting a response. Her phone chimed shortly after.

'CC: basketballtiger0902

Kuroko held her phone close to her and took a deep breath before heading to her room and changing her outfit.
