Hello everyone! I am very sorry for the long wait...busy weeks! Along with summer piano lessons coming to a close and the ever-so-famous school to "look forward to", I've been preparing my body for soccer, which is taking a while considering I'm so used to laying down and eating food ^^||||...anyways, here's a chapter! :D 3 -Kimi

The smell of various breakfast foods wafting from downstairs woke Kuroko up from her slumber. She remembered what happened last night as her face turned a bright red. She inspected her clothes and surroundings - it looked like Kagami just took her socks off, so she sighed in relief and headed downstairs with a cool face.

"Good morning, Kagami-kun," Kuroko greeted, rubbing her eyes.

"A-ah, good morning..." Kagami replied awkwardly. "You can, uh, sit down at the table. Breakfast is almost ready."

Kuroko noticed grocery bags beside the trash can, and assumed Kagami went out for some morning grocery shopping. She decided not to ask about it because she knew his personality enough that more than likely she would not get the response she wanted, but rather a subject change.

Kuroko rested her head in her arms. "Kagami-kun, what time is it?"

Kagami glanced at the clock. "Eh, around 10:30?"

Kuroko continued to rest her head in her arms, contemplating whether or not she should have stayed over. Thoughts kept flowing through her mind in a never-ending cycle, pulling her away from reality. 'Is it too soon to ask things like "I wanna go over to your house"? Does Kagami-kun even want me to be here? Did he actually do something to me while I was sleeping? No, Kagami-kun...wouldn't? No...'

"Kuroko, breakfast is ready-"

"Of course not!" Kuroko shot up, hands placed on the table, leaning forwards. Kagami blinked a few times, standing in shock.

"K-Kuroko...you good?"

Kuroko blushed deeply, sitting back down and nodding, trying to make eye contact with Kagami. She found it harder than usual to do something she used to do so often.

Kagami brought two plates over to the table, both lined with eggs, sausage, and white rice. Kuroko thanked him for the meal and slowly partook in the breakfast in front of her.

The morning passed by very quickly to Kuroko. Before she knew it, she was done eating, watching Kagami wash the dishes in the sink.

"Kagami-kun?"

"Yeah?"

"Where did you put my socks, Kagami-kun?"

Kagami froze before responding. "I, uh, they're washing..."

"Okay, Kagami-kun."

Kagami continued to wash the dishes. "You know, uh, if you want..."

Kuroko stared intently at the back of Kagami's head. "You can wear your tennis shoes back to your house...and when the socks are done washing, I can, uh, bring them over, with the shoes and stuff..."

Kuroko nodded. "Sure, Kagami-kun. Where is the box?"

"U-Upstairs," Kagami replied.

Kuroko walked back up the stairs and into Kagami's room to find the box with her sneakers in them were sitting on the dresser. She took the sneakers out, sat down on the bed, and began untying the laces.

After securely tying her shoes back on, Kuroko headed downstairs and towards the front door. "Goodbye, Kagami-kun," she called. "Y-Yeah," She heard from the kitchen before shutting the door behind her. Kuroko began making her way to her house.

Kagami sat the tea down on the table, wondering where Kuroko had gone. "Kuroko?" he called out. Assuming she went upstairs, he made his way up, keeping a look out for her.

Kagami looked in every other room before opening his own door. He found Kuroko laying across his bed, sleeping soundly. 'Wh-what...do I do in this situation?' Kagami asked himself nervously. 'I think normally, people would...n-no! I...I-I'm not a pervert!'

Kagami noticed that Kuroko's socks were already starting to wrinkle from walking in them for such a long time. He tried to reassure himself in his head. 'I-I'm not doing anything bad...just, washing her socks..."

Kagami slowly removed Kuroko's socks from her feet. 'Just doing the laundry, the laundry...'

Kagami took Kuroko's socks over to the washing machine. He searched the cabinet for a laundry bag to put the socks in. After putting the socks in the machine, he headed down to the couch to sleep - he knew he couldn't sleep in his own bed while Kuroko was asleep unless he wanted to scare the life out of her when she woke up.

He laid down on the couch, trying to find enough comfort to drift off. 'Maybe, if I dream...' he thought. It was easier to fall asleep than he thought.

Kagami found himself opening his door, with Kuroko laying down on the bed. 'Did I not just...do this? I'm just tired, I guess...this is weird...'

He approached Kuroko, slowly pulling her socks off. He looked up to see Kuroko looking back. "K-Kagami-kun..." Kuroko's face was a deep pink. She looked into Kagami's eyes with fear and love.

"K-Kuroko..." Kagami approached Kuroko, crawling over her on his hands and knees. He lifted his left hand to stroke Kuroko's cheek. He reached behind her ear and lightly grabbed Kuroko's head, englufing his fingers in her sky blue hair.

Kuroko brushed her fingertips against the right side of Kagami's chin. She smiled softly, a faint blush painting her cheekbones. "Kagami-kun, you're blushing."

"Sh-Shut up! I..." Kagami averted his gaze, feeling Kuroko's eyes bore a hole in the side of his skull. He looked back at Kuroko, drawing slowly closer to her face. He watched Kuroko slowly close her eyes as her lips parted. Kagami parted his own lips, barely brushing them against Kuroko's lips before his vision went black.

Kagami jolted awake. Wiping the sweat off his brow, he took a few seconds to contemplate. 'I-I just...had a perverted dream! No way!' Kagami glanced at the clock - he hadn't slept but a few hours. 'There's no way I'm falling back asleep now...' Kagami held his head in his hands shamefully.

"Thanks for bringing my socks back, Kagami-kun," Kuroko met Kagami at the door. "You can come in, Kagami-kun."

Kuroko showed Kagami to the living room as she took her shoes and socks to her room. Kagami sighed loudly before Kuroko returned. Kuroko eagerly sat down in the chair opposing Kagami.

"Kagami-kun..."

"Hm?"

"Why...um...nevermind..." Kuroko averted her gaze from Kagami.

Kagami became confused - usually Kuroko did nothing but look straight into his eyes. "What is it, Kuroko?"

Kuroko shuffled nervously in her seat. "Well...does Kagami-kun...like socks?"

"Well...I guess I like wearing them, yeah."

"No, I mean...are they...sexual, Kagami-kun?"

Kagami choked on his breath. "Wh-What?! I - I don't know! Why would I know?! I-I..."

"W-Well, Kagami-kun...nevermind."

"You can't just 'nevermind' after saying something like that! That isn't a topic you just blow off!"

"Well then, Kagami-kun, if you're so inclined, why don't you answer!" Kuroko argued, slightly frustrated.

"Gh!...Well, then..." Kagami could feel his face heat up in frustration and embarrassment. "I...I might! Maybe! I really don't know! It's not like it's happened a lot!"

"...Kagami-kun is a pervert stalker."

"N-No, no! It was just a dream! A dream!"

"A pervert stalker dream."

"Gh, no, it was just a kiss! Nothing else!"

"...So Kagami-kun can kiss me in his dreams, but not in real life," Kuroko joked.

Kagami loomed over Kuroko, faces embarrassingly close. Kuroko's eyes widened in shock.

"K-Kagami-kun..."

Kagami blushed. "D-Don't say it like that, it's like I'm reliving my dream..."

"I can't help what I say, Kagami-kun," Kuroko furrowed her brows.

"S-Sorry, sorry..." Kagami apologized.

Kuroko giggled, looking up into Kagami's eyes. "I love you, Kagami-kun."

"Y-Yeah...me too..."

Kagami slowly drew closer to Kuroko's face, tilting his head slightly. Their lips touched, melting into each other. Kagami could feel Kuroko smile underneath the kiss. "I love you, Kagami-kun," she whispered.
