Hey, everyone!
If you've looked at the dates I've last updated my stories, you might've already guessed it, but it's officially official: All of my unfinished stories are, as of today, cancelled.
Im sorry to all my loyal readers and even to those who are not as loyal and only checked in once, but I realized there's no possible way for me to finish these fics ever. So im just not dragging it on any longer and stopping it here.
That doesn't mean Ill stop writing fanfic, though. Im just going to write it with a different strategy: finish the entire story first, then post a chapter a week. That way you wont get hooked on a story that'll never end and I have more motivation to finish, because if I don't, then nothing gets posted and I do still want feedback.
There'll also be a shift in what fandom im writing for, mostly. Ive discovered Teen Wolf about half a year ago and it's still a fandom I think about almost daily now, so I think its safe to say its here to stay. Ive got a Danny Phantom/Teen Wolf crossover planned and already partly written, and a few other ideas that I might post. Then again I might not, also cause im in my last year of high school so theres a lot of other stuff going on in my life.
Depending on which story you are currently on, I have some leftover fic/ ideas that Ill post below, so youll at least know how it ended so you wont be in suspense forever like you have been for almost a year at least, I think? Man I really don't write enough anymore.
You guys are lucky, with the biggest leftover chapter:
The clock reads 03:09. Both Valerie and Danny are sitting on the edge of the bed again. After the quick inspection an hour ago, they found that all doors except the one that leads to the toilet are locked. In the rightmost corner of the bigger room is a small cabinet standing, but that one is also, you guessed it, locked up.
The adventurous atmosphere that hung in the rooms before has now completely disappeared. Instead, an air of complete utter boredom has taken its place. Valerie still isn't sure if the waffles are poisoned or not. Danny's looking fine, but he doesn't have to stay that way. It's only been an hour after all. In any case, she's not going to chat with him until he at least admits that eating that waffle was a stupid thing to do. The only problem with that is that he is the only other person there, and without any entertainment, there's nothing to do then just sit there in silence.
Danny isn't faring any better. The waffle wasn't poisoned, he's sure, but couldn't Valerie at least speak to him? It's only been two hours and she's already had enough of his company. Why did his kidnapper have to put Valerie there with him? If he were on his own, he probably could just blow the doors to pieces, or phase whatever's in the cabinet out of there, or anything! But with her, he can't do any of that. He just has to sit there besides her feeling useless.
Two sighs sound in relief as the square door opens. They rush over to the opening, anticipating the gifts like children on Christmas. This time, there are a two boxes inside: A box that looks suspiciously like a cereal box, with an envelope stuck to the side addressed to both; and another box, wrapped in clashing red, purple and green wrapping paper, that takes up almost all the other space. Danny is hesitant to take the big box, having seen one just like it too many times in fights with the Box Ghost. He wouldn't know what to do if he turned out to be in it. The boy shuddered. Being stuck here with Valerie was a mild inconvenience, but if the Box Ghost would be there too? That would be hell.
Valerie has no such fears though, and goes straight for the giant cardboard box. She puts her arms around it, preparing herself to pull the heavy object from its spot – and lands hard on her butt when it turns out to be not heavy at all. She groans. "What could be in such a big box, and still be so light?" she asks out loud. Well, she guesses she should be relieved, her shoulders still hurt from swinging that hammer. She dives straight in and starts ripping the wrapping paper to shreds. Underneath it is a normal ordinary brown box. She opens it. Five little green ghosts on a new layer of wrapping paper greet her happily. "Oh come on!"
Danny has grabbed the other box, and is surprised to find that it is indeed a cereal box. He hides his laugh behind his hand when he sees what kind: Fruitloops. Oh, this is gonna be good, he thinks when he takes the letter out of the envelope.
"Alright, you two, getting outta here'll be tricky, but I have faith. Valerie, eat something. You need to keep your strength up. And Danny, I may not know why you're there, but I have a feeling that this has "Fruitloop" written all over it. Even if I'm wrong, can you guys punch the Cheesehead for me when you escape?
A fan."
"Hmmm…," he hums to himself. Apparently the people who send them these gifts know just as little as him and Valerie. "Hey, 'fan?'" he whispers with a smile, "I can promise you that I definitely will punch him when I get free." "Oh come on!" Valerie shouts up from the floor. Danny jumps and almost drops the fruitloops. "What's the problem?" he asks, his tone worried. Valerie sounds extremely agitated when she answers: "Well, I'm not sure, but it appears someone just send us a box filled with boxes." Danny looks into the box she is holding right now, and sees a second box sitting inside of it. "Oh." "Yes. Oh. But I do have to unpack them all," she adds, gesturing wildly with her arms, " because who knows, there might still be something useful in it and then we'll miss it! Ouch!" She flexes her shoulders back. She really should be more careful. Danny notices her sudden pained expression. "Valerie, what's wrong?"
"I just forgot that I had hurt my shoulders when we were kidnapped – somehow. But I'm sure it'll go over soon. Now, how are your injuries….." She looks at Danny's face. She was about to say 'your injuries on your face', but now she notices that they were almost already gone. The bruise on left cheek had faded out, and now it's barely visible. The wound running down his neck had closed up and is barely visible against his skin. She looks at the clock again to make sure. How did his wounds heal within two hours, when those kind of injuries normally take at least a day?
Danny looks at her confused. "My injuries?" Then his eyes widen and touches his cheek. "Oh, thoooose injuries! Heh, t-they are almost healed! That's weird! Maybe there wasn't poison in those waffles, b-but some super healing thing, huh?" he stutters, hand behind his neck as usual. Valerie glares at him. Something was really, really off. She had never heard of a drug that could heal wounds that quick, and if it existed, it wasn't one that you could eat, that she's sure of. This is really getting suspicious. First of all, Danny seems to be way calmer than he should be in this situation, then the weird empty papers, and now this? She's starting to suspect that this boy right in front of her, who claims to be Danny, might not be the boy she knows. But it's too early to jump to conclusions. For now this Danny seems not to be a threat. Maybe she's just being superstitious! But the girl decides to keep an eye out for any abnormal behaviour.
Then she remembers that he also took a box. "Fruitloops?" she asks confused, when she makes out what it says. Danny sighs, glad that she apparently buys his lie, and laughs. "Yeah, someone send us a box of cereal." He sits down besides her.
"Why would they do that?"
"Beats me."
"Wasn't there also a letter attached to this box?" Valerie asks, looking around if it maybe fell off.
"Oh yeah," Danny replies. He fishes a piece of paper out of his back pocket and gives it to Valerie. "Here. It was assigned to both of us."
Valerie reads the letter intrigued. This writer seems nice, though she hasn't got the slightest idea who they mean by 'Fruitloop' and 'Cheesehead'. It probably has something to do with the cereal. "Do you know who this 'Fruitloop' is?" she asks her friend. Danny, who saw this question coming, already has an answer prepared. "Oh, he's just a friend of the family," he answers. Hey, it's not a lie, technically. "I don't like him and he doesn't like me. One time I made him out for 'fruitloop' and the name kinda stuck." Valerie looks shocked. "And he would kidnap us both and hold us imprisoned!?" Oh. Danny hadn't thought of that. "I don't know what's up with that too. The writer probably has it wrong," he says, looking away to avoid her eyes. Then his gaze falls on the still opened gate. "Hey, the door hasn't closed," he comments. He stands up and walks over to it.
Woops, kind of a cliffhanger… Sorry about that! There was supposedly another thing in the gate: two t-shirts, if I remember. I wrote this a long time ago
Soo, how would the story continue:
I actually don't know. I was going to have them find the key to the closed door, then find a staircase that goes up 1 level, and have them split up or something. I didn't really think it out that far. The enemy was going to be a mysterious ghost with a keyboard. Not much else was planned out.
Anyway, that's that. Good luck in the rest of your lives, and all that jazz. Bye!
