Ace: Sup People!

I made sooooo many mistakes last chapter, but *waves hand impatiently to the side* not important. I'll explain that later.

I was so amazed at the positive comments last chapter. This was amazing! Big shoutout to Swordy McSwordy, DarkX, Typicalptic, cammiemorris7, cammie, and ForestFire5 for your support and reviews!

Chapter 5: Initiations and Why I Dislike Them

Isa

Kirby dropped me off at the Competition Gym. He would have told me where to sit, but Meta Knight called him over for something, so I basically had to figure it out myself. Not that I minded.

I entered, and saw an auditorium packed inside. It was impressive, but not surprising. I mean, they have train tracks that appear out of nowhere. So it shouldn't be a complete shock that they can suddenly make an auditorium fit inside of a competition gym.

On one side, there was a sign saying "SMASHERS", and the other was a platform that was raised. The platform looked like it could hold part of the Titanic. On that platform were three chairs, with two of them occupied. I got a feeling that I was going to sit there.

I jogged over to the platform and jumped on it. I could see the other people on the platform. One was a small girl with blue eyes, long blonde hair, and had on a small white tunic similar to Pit's from Kid Icarus: Uprising. She seemed pleasant enough, but how would I know?

The other person was a boy that looked exactly like Pit, if Pit decided to wear black, dye his hair black and wear contacts that gave him brown eyes. It took me a second, and I realized that it was Dark Pit, Pit's psychotic clone.

(Ow! It's true, Pittoo! Go play the video game and prove me wrong!)

Anyway, I sat on the right side of the girl. She was too busy talking/arguing to Dark Pit. As much as I wanted to talk to her, it's rude to interrupt a conversation. And yeah, it killed me not talking to her.

I kinda zoned out and began to think about the visions Elendia warned me about some time ago, except in greater detail.

Okay, so the boy getting attacked- It could be Red the annoying boy, Ness, Toon Link, or anyone in Smash Manor under the age of 18 that's a human male (didn't mean to be mean like that, but that's the truth). Also, I scream at the attacker, so it would be someone I'm close to, but I'm not on close terms with any of them yet, unless you count Red. But the thing, I-

A fist hit my shoulder. I growled and struck back. Dark Pit hissed, and before either of us could attack, the young girl yelled, "Stop it!"

Dark Pit looked annoyed, but obeyed her command. I listened too, but I continue to look in a different direction. Thanks Pit the Sequel, I lost my train of thought.

(GIVE ME BACK MY PHONE PITTOO! DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING! NOW SHUT UP AND GO AWAY! I'm trying to write.)

Anyhow, I was trying to regain the lost thought when I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was the girl.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, I am," I responded nonchalantly.

"I'm sorry about what happened. You see, we wanted to talk to you-"

"And you were in Lalaland," Dark Pit interjected.

"And we tried to get your attention, but you were in deep thought," the girl continued, "so we kept poking you, but you were unresponsive, so Dark Pit wanted to see if punching you would work."

"It worked a little too well," I responded.

The girl smiled. "My name is Diana. This is Dark Pit," she pointed at Pittoo. Then she turned to me and asked, "What's yours?"

"Isa. Isa Sentōki," I replied.

Diana smiled. "That's a pretty name. And I'm surprised that your last name is 'warrior'. But is Isa your first name?"

"Yep."

"ALL SMASHERS NEED TO BE IN THE COMPETITION GYM! RIGHT NOW!" Master Hand's voice yelled on the intercom.

With that, multiple Smashers entered the room. They went to the seats and sat down in random places. And I mean RANDOM. I swear I saw one person go up to the ceiling, and another sit on a throne on the rows, but realized that it was King Dededededede- I mean, Dedede, so I didn't think too much of it.

(Kirby, why does he have so many syllables in his name? Really? Um, okay...)

Anyway, a group of six people entered the gym. I could barely make out their features. I'm not blind or have horrible eyesight, they were so close together that they looked like a crowd that one can never tell apart. And I was really on high on the platform, and far away from the seats, so of course I couldn't see them.

Diana looked at the group anxiously. "Do you see Pit?"

Dark Pit immediately responded, "No."

Diana glared at him. "Really?"

Dark Pit just looked at her with no emotion on his face.

Diana sighed. I could tell she was really stressed out. But why?

Before I could formulate a good question for her, I saw that Master Hand and Crazy Hand had entered the room. The room, which I realized was full at this point, was so quiet that you could hear a cell phone go off... at a low volume.

Master Hand and Crazy Hand went up to the stage. Crazy Hand looked like he was having a spasm attack, so he went off in a corner. Master Hand floated/stood/I don't know what above the stage.

"Welcome to the initiation of three new Smashers," he began. "Obviously, you know how I am, so let's cut to the chase."

He pointed to the Smashers. "When your group name is called out, I want to stand up."

"Super Mario Bros."

I saw multiple people stand up. After a few seconds, they all sat down.

"The Legend of Zelda."

Five people stood up, and they were all in different sections. Before I could register their faces, they sat down.

"Pokémon."

A LOT of people stood up, and after a while, they sat down.

You wanna know something? I REALLY dislike repeating stuff, so I'm just going to name the groups to save us time. (Shut up, Marth. This is my part, remember?)

"Kirby."

"Sonic the Hedgehog."

"Starfox."

"Metal Gear Solid."

"Yoshi."

"Kid Icarus."

"Fire Emblem."

"Wii Fit."

"Animal Crossing."

"Megaman."

"Metroid."

"F-Zero."

"Ice Climbers."

"Nintendo."

"Earthbound."

"Donkey Kong."

"Pikmin."

"Game and Watch."

"Wario."

"Punch-Out!"

"Is there anyone I didn't call out?" Master Hand asked.

"You-a forgot me," a voice rang out.

"Sorry Dr. Mario. Your name wasn't on the list," Master Hand apologized.

"It's-a okay," Dr. Mario responded from the crowd.

"Now let us introduce our new Smashers."

A screen appeared behind Master Hand. I then realized that our chairs were positioned in such a way that we could see the screen. (Wow. I can't believe I missed that at the time...)

The screen showed a picture of Dark Pit. I wanted to laugh, because the picture looked like he was bored, while the real Dark Pit looked ready to strangle someone. Diana merely smiled.

"This is Dark Pit, an angel from Skyworld. He is a servant of Lady Paluntena and Pit's younger brother," Master Hand began.

Dark Pit shot out of his seat. "Pit is NOT my brother!"

Master Hand turned to him. "According to your registration file, he is your twin."

"I DIDN'T WRITE THAT DOWN!" Dark Pit yelled.

"And he is not my twin!" A voice cried from the stands. I got the feeling that it was Pit who said that.

Diana giggled. "Um, you guys didn't bother finishing the registration forms, so Paluntena and I finished them for you."

Dark Pit glared at her. "Seriously?"

Diana nodded. "I finished Pit's and yours while you busy arguing over vampires and their weaknesses. It's better than having Lady Palutena and Viridi write down stuff."

Dark Pit paled slightly. "Were they going to?"

"Yes."

"Fine," Dark Pit sighed. He proceeded to sit back down. I felt like laughing, but I didn't want to hurt Dark Pit's feelings. I mean, come on. I just met him. There's no way I'm that mean.

(Roy, shut up! I do care for people's feelings!)

Master Hand continued. "This is Diana, another angel of Skyworld and a servant of both Palutena and Viridi, Goddess of Nature." While he was speaking, a picture of Diana smiling appeared on the screen. Diana waved to the crowd.

After that, a picture of me appeared. I was glaring at the camera, as if I was ready to take it apart right there, which I found funny and annoying. I really hate cameras.

"This is Isa Sentōki, a young warrior from Senshi Academy, which is a day's journey from here. And that is all of our Smashers. These are the last ones who are joining this tournament.

Diana

With that comment, the auditorium exploded into an uproar of questions. I turned to Isa and asked, "Why didn't they say anything else about you? It seems like you appeared out of thin air."

Isa shrugged. "My school file is classified, and I only did the basic part of the registration. I didn't fill out my accomplishments, but that's because I hate bragging about my past. And also, there is stuff I want to hide."

"Like what?" I asked.

Isa looked at the crowd. "I didn't say that."

"Oh real-" I began.

At that second Crazy Hand hit a gong and all the noise died down.

Master Hand waited for a second before continuing. "And now we'll watch videos of the new Smashers, starting with Isa."

Isa slumped in her seat and began to stare at the ceiling. I guess she really hates looking at herself on video.

The screen showed a Roman-like arena with people screaming throwing things into the fighting area. A announcer began to scream, "WELCOME TO THE 200th COMPETITION OF SENSHI ACADEMY!"

A guy with dark blue hair entered the arena. He wore a black outfit with a gray belt. He carried an axe in one hand like it was nothing.

Isa stepped out from the other side of the arena. She wore a black outfit like the other guy, but hers had a white dragon on the front.

The Isa beside me was asleep. I wanted to poke her, but I was afraid that she would go nuts. So I let her sleep. It's like they say: Let sleeping Dragons lie, because I did NOT want to deal with any craziness from Isa. And the sad thing is, I just met her, and I could tell that she could act crazy just by looking at her. Is that crazy on my part?

"Ready? FIGHT!" The announcer on the screen yelled.

Isa and her opponent probably decided to go nuts, because they only thing we saw was two blurs on screen hitting each other constantly. After several minutes of that, The guy was on the ground, with Isa pointing her sword at him.

When ten seconds had passed, the announcer screamed," And the winner is... ISA SENTŌKI!"

The video ended afterwards.

Isa was still asleep.

Master Hand continued talking. "That's all we have for Isa. Now for Dark Pit's video..."

A few more videos appeared, but I didn't pay attention to them. I was too busy looking at Isa, who was still asleep. How does she sleep with this much noise? Can she block out everything around her, even when she is asleep? Lucky girl. Wish I could do that.

After the video of me finished, I elbowed Isa really hard. She woke up and looked around as if she was lost. She looked at me and acted like nothing happened.

Master Hand turned to us. "Did you get the tour from your fellow Smashers?" When we all nodded, he said,"Good. Then we'll direct you to your rooms."

He turned to the other Smashers. "You are all dismissed. You are free to do whatever you want, but for those who are under the age of 18, you have school tomorrow, as do those in college."

A bunch of groans could be heard in the gym. I guess a lot of the Smashers were under the age of 18. Or went to college.

When everyone had left, Master Hand led us out of the gym and directed. Every Smasher had their own room, and they were quite big. All of them had bare walls, and Master Hand promised to let us go shopping for decorations and paint in a nearby city that was built some time ago.

After dropping off Dark Pit in his room, I walked with Isa to our rooms. She was very fun to be with, always saying things to make one laugh or smile, and seemed to be a happy-go-lucky person.

"Do you know what we do here?" I asked Isa.

She thought for a little bit. "Beat up people, do tournaments, and make enemies just by doing something stupid by accident?"

I laughed. "I guess so. That's what my boyfriend told me. He's Pit, a brunette version of Dark Pit."

We stopped in front of Isa's room. I waved goodbye to Isa and went to my own a few rooms away.

Isa

After I entered my room, I felt like screaming and destroying something. My room had a lot of boxes stacked up neatly in the center of my room. That didn't bother me. What bothered me was the writing on them. They all said 'TO ISA-CHAN. FROM SHIRO-KUN.'

Great. My brother packed up my entire room from our house and sent it to Smash Manor. But how did it get here? I'll find out later. Right now, I had to unpack some of the boxes and my suitcase.

I pulled out my pocket watch and looked at it. It read 4:30. Hopefully, I'll unpack everything before dinner.

Pulling out my dagger from my shoe, I went to the center of my room and opened the first box.

Ace: *Reading reviews.* Whoa. Lots of positive feedback. *Shrinks away from death glare.* I promise to not kill any characters- but just out of curiosity, who are your favorite characters? I would like to know, so please state who they are in reviews-I don't want to kill everyone's favorite character(s). There will be-

Isa: *Elbows Ace hard.* DO NOT SPOIL ANY PART, ACE DE TARJETAS!

Ace: Sorry! Just got carried away.

Isa: *Puts on scary face.* You better not do it again.

Ace: *Completely unfazed*. Okay.

Isa: HOW ARE YOU UNFAZED BY MY SCARY FACE?

Ace: Well, we are on a computer, and I am not Marth. Or Link. Or Zelda. Or Pichu. Or Pikachu. Or anyone who gets scared by that.

Isa: Ok. *Frowns a little and walks away.*

Ace: As I mentioned earlier, I did make mistakes last chapter (i.e., Mario's sentence, italicized author notes, etc.) and those will be addressed later because of school.

Update- 12/27

Ace: In case anyone is wondering, I edited this scene so that it made more sense. Dark Pit is less talkative, and the reason the Smashers freaked out is because they thought that more people would be joining this tournament, but they only got 7 people. And another note: Isa, Dark Pit, and Diana couldn't arrive in time for the second initiation with Mega Man, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, and Rosalina and Luma(the first one welcomed back the characters from Melee, but I'll explain that later.), so they had to make a third one for the three of them.

Also, this is not paper. Originally, I wrote paper instead of computer in one of my lines, as I apparently think I'm in a book.

Link: But your nose is often times in a book, Ace.

Ace: That's besides the point Link.

Link: What book were you thinking about?

Ace: *sigh* I guess that's all I have to say for this chapter.

Update-1/27/14

Ace: AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I TOTALLY FORGOT TO MENTION SAMUS! HOW DID I FORGET!? (I fixed it though)

Don't forget to follow/favorite/review!
