Ace: Happy Easter! There was a double cliffhanger last time and I need to pick up where the two parts left off. Let's start with Pit's part first.

Disclaimer: I do not own Super Smash Bros.

Chapter 11: Seth, Subordinate of My Enemy

Pit

After the bullet got lodged in my shoulder, I tried to hide the pain I was in as looked over my shoulder. My assailant smirked. He reminded me of a Naval officer, except the uniform was red, it had only two badges on it, didn't have any signs that he was from the Navy and to top it all off, he didn't wear a hat. So basically, he was a wanna be Naval Officer.

"Die," he said as he aimed the gun at my face.

"That's positive," I muttered quietly.

His finger pulled the trigger, and I dodged the second bullet by an inch. It lodged itself into one of the screens that proceeded to shut down. He cursed, and kept shooting me, and by some miracle, I dodged the rest of the bullets. He would pause for a few seconds after firing off five bullets, and then proceed to start shooting again. However, the equipment around me was getting destroyed, so I had to move now if I wanted to find Isa and Link.

"Missed," I yelled as his bullet was off by two feet. This one hit the screen where the camera in the Hallway of Smash was.

...

Did I really just let him do that? Dang it, now I feel like an idiot.

"So that's where they are," my assailant muttered.

"Who?" I asked.

"The brats that could lead me to the Power of Smash."

I summoned my bow (with difficulty, due to my injured arm) and aimed at the unknown person. "Don't move, or I'll shoot."

He scoffed. "Like an arrow can stop me." He pointed his gun one last time, and pulled the trigger at my feet. I attempted to dodge the bullet, but it got lodged in my leg. I groaned and collapsed on the floor as the pain spread all over my body. He laughed, and exited the room.

Isa

"Who the heck are you?" I asked the teenager standing behind me. I kept my sword pointed, and Link pulled out the Master Sword.

The teen calmly pulled a gun out of his pocket. "Seth Darkwood, one of Runi de Quinn's lieutenants."

My eyes narrowed. "So you're part of the wanna be ruler's ideals." I scoffed. "Baka, you have no idea what's going to happen to you."

He shot the ground near my feet, causing me to jump back a bit. "Says the chick who is scared of guns. Let me through."

"Chico*, guns are scary if they are used by the wrong people, and if you call me chick again, then I will kill you. Also," I added, "I will not let you pass. You have to kill me first."

"Then die."

"Challenge accepted," I responded

As Seth pulled the trigger, Link grabbed me and yanked me to behind a corner as the bullet whizzed by. Link held his shield up to the side in order to defend us from further attacks and turned to glare at me.

"What the hell is wrong with you? You don't tell people to go kill you!" He hissed. "That's called stupidity!"

"I thought that he was joking and that he wouldn't shoot," I muttered as I looked past Link at Seth, noting every detail I could. Seth was sweating and his stance was off-balanced, and if he was kicked with a roundhouse coming from the side, he'll fall over. His gun seemed to be the type that held six bullets at a time before it needs to be reloaded. From the looks of it, it had maybe three bullets left. But as I analyzed this, Link grabbed me to face him.

"Isa, could you listen to me?"

"Not now," I hissed as Seth fired off two more bullets. Then he stopped for thirty seconds, looking at his gun impatiently. I took a closer look at the gun, and I noticed that the gun was glowing.

His gun must be able to regenerate the bullets if he has one left, Mizineko noted.

Okay then, I thought back as a plan was forming.

As Link looked like he was processing what Neko said (I mean, no one but Neko said anything and he can hear her, which I won't deny, though I don't know why), I grabbed his shield and dashed towards Seth, holding the shield in front of me. Seth shot at the shield four times before he suddenly fell down. I skidded to a stop and looked at the newcomer. It was Pit, who was panting hard... And covered in blood?! No way. I thought they couldn't get cut here... I guess they could, as this isn't a video game…

Link snatched his shield from me as he ran over to Pit. "You okay?" He asked.

Pit shook his head no as he collapsed to his knees. Link caught him before he fell on his face, and Pit kept panting. "It hurts..." He muttered.

"What in the name of Din happened to you?" Link questioned as he examined Pit's shoulder. A bullet was lodged in there, and there was one in his left leg. I shook my head and walked over to Seth, kicking him as I stopped. Baka. He nearly killed Pit, and he needed to pay for that.

"I did that to him!" Seth declared as he got up. Before anyone said anything else, I grabbed the gun nearby him and threw it to Link. He caught a few items and gave me a funny look. And then I realized that I also threw my sword and dagger to him.

Blast. Now I felt like an idiot.

Seth laughed as he reared his fist back to punch me. As he attempted to do that, I moved to the right and kicked him. He roared, and attempted to do it again. It hit my in the shoulder, and I grunted. He threw a haymaker at my face. I blocked it and punched his nose, and as he yelped in pain, I grabbed him and threw him over my back and he slammed into the wall.

"That ought to teach him," I muttered as I helped Pit get up. Link grabbed Pit and made sure Pit was supported before I let go. Link looked at me with interest. "Impressive. Now I want to go a couple rounds with you in a match."

"All right then. When shall we do it?" I asked.

"I'm bleeding to death here," Pit murmured.

"I know that," I muttered. "So-"

Several swords came out of nowhere and pinned Link and Pit to the wall, and all of them missed me. Most of them got their clothing pined, but one got Link in his shoulder, and he grimaced. I whipped around to see Seth giving me a smug look.

"Two down," he said smugly. "One to go."

"You fiend!" I screamed as I held my fists up, ready to fight.

"That's who I am. A fiend."

"If it wasn't for the law, you would be dead now!"

"You can't hit me," he muttered.

I did a forward cartwheel and kicked him square in the face. "Reality says I can because I just did it! What now, idiot?"

He stumbled back. "What the hell? How did you do that?"

"It's called skill, genius."

"Shut up!" He threw a flurry of punches, all of which I blocked or dodged. I leaned back and kicked his chin, hoping that would knock him out. Unfortunately, it failed.

Seth got onto his feet, summoned several daggers, and threw them at me. I ducked, avoiding most of them, but one grazed my cheek and two more cut my left leg. I gritted my teeth and swung around, kicking Seth in the stomach. He double over for a second and got back up. He threw a kick aiming for my legs, and I moved to block it, but he threw it higher than I anticipated, and it hit me square in the chest. I was sent flying backwards and slammed into the wall. I couldn't breathe well, and my body felt pain everywhere.

"Pitiful," Seth murmured as he walked over to me and summoned a barrier, separating me from Link and Pit.

"Isa!" Someone screamed my name, but I couldn't tell if it was Pit or Link due to the barrier interfering with my hearing. I glared at Seth while he pulled a small book out of his pocket.

"Let's see... Shall I kill you, or should I turn you into one of our soldiers? You are quite dangerous, yet you could be a valuable ally..." He muttered as he flipped through the different pages of his book, which was likely full of spells he wrote that he felt were important enough to use. Apparently, this included captured enemies. Figures, since that was what Runi did a few years ago...

"I'll never work for that idiot," I spat as I slowly got up and leaned against the wall painfully. "I would rather get locked in a haunted house, blindfolded, and have only a flashlight as my weapon against the inhabitants in there. I would rather climb Mount Everest alone with little supplies, on the verge of death. I would rather wear a frilly pink dress with frills on it. I would rather be turned into a dog!"

"Shut up," Seth said. "You're distracting me with this nonsense. And I've decided to take you hostage, as you can open the doors ahead." He pointed down the hallway.

I burst into laughter, and quickly had to stop because of the pain. "Like I can open the doors... I am new here you bloody idiot!"

He grabbed my shoulder and held me to the wall. "I, Seth Darkwood, am calling upon the earth to hold this girl in place..." Seth began to whisper as pieces of earth began to wrap itself around my legs, preventing my escape. Growling in frustration, my arm shot out and I began to choke Seth. He stopped mid-spell, and began to claw at my hand.

"You will g-go in-insane," he muttered as an orb of black energy manifested in his left hand. It shot out and hit me in the chest. Screaming, I let go of Seth's neck and fell to the ground, breaking the earth's spell on my legs. My vision began to blur as pain erupted throughout my entire body. As I lost consciousness, I could hear Mizineko screaming my name and I vaguely see Seth pointing his gun at me and laughing...

Ace: Dang, yet another cliffhanger.

Isa: That's evil.

Ace: Well, considering that I am writing the next part, it's not that bad.

Isa: Oh.

Ace: Here are my notes:

Muchacho*= Guy. Normally used to talk to people ("muchachos"). Isa does this often when she meets people (evil or good), but as she knew the Smashers, she just referred to them by their names and didn't call them anything in Spanish... But she will eventually.

Baka= Idiot

This is Ace, signing off for now.
