Ace: At this rate, this story is never going to take off, so I am speeding it up a notch. Next chapter will actually take place outside of Smash Manor.

Chapter 15: Mi mala suerte empieza

(My bad luck begins)

Isa

"What the hell, Isa? What was that?" Ike yelled. He was on the ground, and I had my foot on his chest.

I grinned. "It's called a take down, Ike."

Ike sighed. "I know, but that was quick!"

"Exactly."

I sensed something behind me. Picking my foot off of Ike, I aimed and kicked Link square in the stomach. He grunted and was sent flying into the wall. Ike attempted to get up, but I kicked him in the head, causing him to fall again.

Link moaned. "Time."

I helped Ike to his feet and together we walked to the bench with Link following. We grabbed our Gatorades and began to walk towards the backyard, talking along the way.

"Damn," Ike said. "That was intense, Bella."

I whacked him in the head with a frozen Gatorade, but he didn't wince. Link laughed at my frustration.

"Still," Ike continued. "I should know better. You said you were training to be a ninja and knew Tae Kwon Do. Yet Link and I still challenged you to a fight."

I sighed. "It's because I don't look that strong, and I'm as tall as Pit, and he's like a half foot shorter than you guys. It can be quite deceptive."

Link nodded. "How do you know this techniques?"

I thought for a second. "I started Tae Kwon Do when I was eight, I took some Jiu-Jitsu since I was thirteen, and I took Hapkido as elective this past year, along with a martial arts weapons class."

Ike whistled. "Impressive, Bella."

I shot Ike a glare. "I'm Isa!"

He shrugged while Link laughed. "I can only remember you as Isabela or Bella."

I face palmed. "That's nice..."

"Anyhow," Link began. "I'm impressed with your skills. I mean, the hand-to-hand combat ones."

"Yeah, yeah, my sword fighting sucks big time," I responded.

"It doesn't," Ike said. "You just need to work harder. And there have been people who lost in ten seconds. You lost in fifteen seconds."

I rolled my eyes. Ike smacked the back of my head. Link eyed us both. "Something going on between you two?"

By this point, we were outside. Ike and I glanced at each other. Then we turned to Link and dumped our Gatorades on him. Link spat and threw his on us. Angered, I grabbed the hose and hit Link. Unfortunately, it also hit Ike, who retaliated with some nearby water balloons. Link grabbed a water gun and began to squirt us with cold water. This went on for several minutes, and we were all laughing.

"STOP!" Master Hand's voice commanded.

The three of us stopped at once and looked towards the Manor. We all looked at Master Hand in shock and dropped what we were holding.

It was Master Hand, Crazy Hand, Pikachu, and Pichu. All of them were awake. But it was how they looked.

Master Hand now had a human form, with white hair, black eyes, and a white tuxedo with a black tie and white shoes. Crazy Hand looked similar, except his white hair went everywhere, he looked deranged, and wore a lab coat.

Pikachu was also human, with blonde hair and dark eyes. He wore a smile on his face and still had his Pikachu ears on his head (and his human ears were hidden behind his hair- how bizarre), but was also wearing jeans and a Pikachu t-shirt.

Pichu looked like a tiny female Pikachu, except with smaller ears and a Pokémon t-shirt, along with the fact that her hair was kinda long.

Master Hand directed our attention to him. "Yes, I know it's shocking how we are humans. I think it was a side effect of the spell that hit us, and we can return to normal." To demonstrate, Pikachu returned to his Pikachu form and back to human form, grinning like crazy. Pichu went up and gave me a hug, and I got a litte shock, but that's what happens when a Pichu hugs a wet person.

"Spells do weird things," I admitted. "Once, one of my classmates got turned into a rubber duck in the middle of a test due to a spell."

Before Link could ask about that, Master Hand cut in. "Yes, weird stuff can happen. But as of right now, we need to focus on stopping this new threat. We are splitting the Smashers up into multiple teams to deal with this. Please get into more comfortable clothing and come to the main hallway to see what group you are in.

Five minutes later, I walked out of my room with a black jacket, a white shirt, and black jeans. I walked down the stairs and saw everyone talking in small groups. Seeing the papers taped on the wall, I went over to them and began to read the lists:

Warriors- Will go out and defeat this threat. They leave tomorrow.

As I looked through the list, Master Hand came up to see how everyone was doing. He looked at me and saw my annoyed look. "Something wrong?"

"My name is not on the list," I replied.

"It is, Sora."

I twitched. "I don't use that. Why did you put Sora down?"

He sighed. "It's your legal name, Sora, so I put it down. "

We stood there for a few seconds

"Do I go to my group now?"

Master Hand shrugged. "You could, but dinner is to be served. Just report to the mess hall."

I nodded and left.

I was looking at my phone when I heard footsteps. "Mind if I sit here?" Dark Pit asked.

"I can't control your actions," I replied as I looked up.

Dark Pit sat down next time me. "I got into a fight with Pit just now, so I was told to cool down. But they didn't tell that idiot to do that..."

I put my phone away. "People can be annoying. I should know." After a few seconds, I asked, "Want to talk about it?"

"No."

I nodded. "I understand."

After a few seconds of eating in silence, Dark Pit asked, "Where are you positioned? I didn't see your name on the list."

"Messenger."

Dark Pit raised an eyebrow, yet he looked unamused. "You're Sora, then?"

I looked at the floor. "Yeah, but don't ever call me that."

"I won't."

I looked back at him. "Why are sitting here? I'm not trying to be rude, but there are other tables."

Dark Pit mused this over in his own way. "Maybe it's because the other tables are people who would ask me about the fight I had, and it's too much of a hassle."

I nodded and finished my dinner. "Anyhow, good luck with the quest."

Dark Pit looked at me with interest. "I would have expected you to be trying to join the quest, Isa. You seem to be the person who wants to be on the front lines."

I shook my head. "Naw, I'm good without fighting that nutcase Runi and his subordinates Spiro and Seth."

"Who's Spiro? And is Runi the leader? How do you know this?"

"I knew Runi when I was younger. I hate his guts now due to the fact that he tried to steal my powers a few years ago, so I'm not eager to see him again."

"What powers?" Dark Pit seemed interested now, so I had no choice but to tell him the truth.

"I controlled illusions. Well, I can still use illusions, but it's minor. When I was younger, I almost drove someone insane with my abilities."

"That's nice," Dark Pit muttered sarcastically.

"If you have to fight Runi," I said quietly so that no one could hear this, "then I would lure him into a maze or someplace where you can hide. You can escape him if you need to replenish or trick him. Runi has a terrible sense of direction. Once, my brother Hiro went camping with him, and Runi got lost in the field. In full daylight."

Dark Pit tried to process this. "You better be joking."

I shook my head. "Ridiculous, but true. Runi gets lost easily, and is horrible at giving directions."

Dark Pit began to think. "Maybe you should you join our group. I mean, you know about the enemy, and you could help us win our fight."

I sighed. "I'm fine with the group I'm in. At least I won't deal with that psychopath." I got up so I could go join Sonic and the rest of my group. "Nice talking to you Dark Pit. Suerte.*"

After briefing with my group, I walked to my room, yawning. I was beyond tired, and was ready to throw myself on my bed.

I entered and grabbed my alarm. I tried to reset the time, but it wouldn't let me. Grabbing a screwdriver, I began to try to change the time.

Ten minutes later, I threw the clock in frustration. I had destroyed an indestructible clock, and my attempt to fix it, I managed to into a Hello Kitty alarm that was worthless. Sighing, I turned the light off and fell asleep.

I woke up with a start. It wasn't because of my dreams. I felt something watching me. Shaking it off as paranoia, I looked to me left-

-And saw Link and Zelda standing behind my bedside in full battle armor.

I began to yell. "Holy-"

Ace: Insert unrepeatable Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and English swearing.

Zelda paled. Link sighed. "You're mouth is dirtier than Ike's!"

I looked away. "What do you want?"

"Master Hand changed his mind. You're coming with us."

"No."

"Please?" Zelda asked.

"No."

Link grinned. "I will tell everyone that you are in love with Marth and you want to marry him."

"Don't!" I yelled. "That's not true!"

"Then get ready."

"How long do I have?"

"Five minutes."

"Gah!" I jumped out of my bed and began to grab stuff randomly in a panic.

Zelda touched my shoulder. "You have an hour. Link just wanted to freak you out."

"It worked," I muttered.

With that, Zelda and Link left me to pack my stuff.

Ace: That was a long chapter. And it was overwhelming. But now the quest will start, and I'm happy about that.

To some of you, finding out that Isa is named Sora is a shock. Some would have known if they read the original story. And some are just confused. It will be mentioned later.

Zelda read Dark Pit's mind and told Master Hand about what Isa knew. So he made Isa join the quest. Isa didn't want to go, but now she has no choice.
