Tanya POV
"I realized that I didn't love him, end of the story," I said.
"Tell me what really happen," Bella looked right at me as she said it. Making me realized she is serious, that she wants to know my history with Edward.
"Alright, can we sit so we can talk comfortably," I said. She nodded, and guided me towards the couch. She took a sit and I sat across from her.
"When I first met him, I thought he was perfect for me and I knew we weren't mates but it didn't matter. For a while I tried to seduce him and he finally accepted me to be his partner,".
"So, wait a minute you had to go after him so he can notice you. I'm sorry Tanya but you are great woman, I don't think you need to convince anyone to be with you. He himself need to realize that you are a great woman," Little one said with a frown as she looked at me.
I wasn't proud of myself of how I let Edward rule my life back then. Sasha had thought me better, that if a man doesn't have any interest in you, then walk away because he doesn't know what he is missing out on.
"I know, it's just that a crazy idea got into my head, he was the prince charming I imagined but then my sisters made me realize that when I was with him I had stopped being myself. I let him decided anything for me, he made act like his shepherd wife and there wasn't any passion in the relationship. In his mind he couldn't accept being intimately involved before marriage, he didn't get succumb to any temptations he had, therefore his still a virgin…" Little one interrupted me again.
"Wait a minute! You mean to tell me that his still a virgin!" Bella was shocked. I nodded at her.
"And you still went on with him, I mean if a guy is 107 years old and a virgin there must be something wrong," she replied shaking her head. She's probably thinking what I was thinking when I was with Edward.
"You don't have to shove it in my face how stupid I was, believe me I know…" I murmured.
"Sorry Tanya, I don't judge you ,people are meant to mistakes but I am glad that you've learned from your mistakes instead," she said calming me down.
"He never made me feel good about myself, he always criticized about something I would think about or that the way I act wasn't very decent. I started to feel like Edward was acting a little like my dad but the difference was he was mentally abusing me," I said sadly remembering the times I let him do that to me.
Little one stood up from her bed with a frown on her face, "Okay, that's it tell me where he is so I can deal with him because nobody, and I say nobody can treat my woman like that! You deserve respect and I am going to teach him what respect is," she said with determination in her eyes.
I had to laugh at the way she was acting sometimes, she's funny when she gets mad, "Little one, calm down. I myself will deal with him later but I mean I don't blame only him but myself as well since I let him treat me that way. I went along with his games even after all that Sasha had taught me," I sighed looking at the ground.
Little one came to sit on the table that was in front of me and she grabbed my hands for her to hold, "Look Tanya, I don't expect you to be perfect even with your age but with Edward didn't have any right to treat you the way that you told me. I could see with the way he acts he thinks he is superior than anyone else but you are way better than him that is why you got the chick not him," Bella said so seriously.
I looked her in her eyes to see only sincerity and love. I smiled at her and brought my lips to her but she pulled back and I pouted. Why did I bite her last time I ask myself.
"No until you finish the story you can't kissed this hot lips until then," she replied. I am glad that her fear to be bitten has ended.
"Okay, so when I realized that I told him that we had to take a break. Which was quite long, 5 years after our break, we met again during a Volturi celebration with Aro and Edward proposed to me…"
[Begin Flashback]
Me and my sister's walked in to the Volturi Castle as the last guest and of course everybody has been waiting for us to arrive but we let them wait to show to them we were also important. We didn't forgive them for killing Sasha but we let them believe we had understood why they killed her. We made think that we easily accepted and there were no hard feelings between us but that was far from it. We didn't want to start a war and Sasha always said to me, keep your friend's close but your enemies closer.
I was wearing a sexy tight red dress and everyone knew us as flirts and that we weren't women who were naive and won't easy fall in to their games.
Edward was the first one who approached me but was glaring at me, "Don't you see their eyes on you, they want you, I can read their minds, here take my jacket," He said as he swiftly took his jacket and shoved it in my direction.
I ignored the jacket and told him, "It's not my fault they're staring, you know how men are and if I want to dress sexy I will," I said walking away and to walk towards Alice.
"Tanya, why can't you act like a woman of your age," Edward hissed as he pulled me back by my arm.
"Look who's talking, your the one who acting like a boy rather than a men everyday and doesn't even know how to treat woman any better," I growled and ripped my arm away from his grip.
"And there is nothing wrong with a woman of our age dressing this way. Many women like to make themselves beautiful and sexy," Alice was behind as she said that to Edward. I turned around greet her and I left Edward by himself. Alice came to walk beside me.
The party went on and I saw Edward lying through his teeth as he told other men that I was his, that I am perfect for him. I do everything he says like a good woman that I am supposed to be in his eyes. That it took a lot of time for him to be sure that I was perfect for him.
That's when I knew that I am not going to be with him anymore. I decided to later tell him it is over and let this people see that I am nobody's, as I am my own woman.
Marcus came towards me to flirt with me as always he does and Edward comes quickly to my side as he sees Marcus.
"Tanya let's go, I don't want you talking with him," he said, as he grabbed my arm again to pull me.
"Edward, I am not yours anything so let go of me! I am having a conversation with a real man so please go, I am not interested in a boy who cannot satisfy me," I replied, Marcus snickered at the situation.
"Tanya I want you to respect me, remember I am your partner," Edward replied angrily.
"Look, Edward I am done with your bullshit. Do you think I want to be in a relationship with you where there's no passion in it," I said disgusted at him with the way he was behaving.
"Look love, I know and I am sorry and I just thought of the perfect solution," he said taking out a small box from his pocket, please don't tell me its what I think it is.
He took the ring out of the box and put the ring himself on my finger, "From now on you're my fiancée, we will get married in a month. I have everything prepared," he said.
Everybody's attentions were on us now, "No he didn't," I hear Kate say.
"What the hell Edward! You can't just decide for me that I'm going to marry you and if I want to get married with somebody its certainty not for sex but for love," I quickly ripped the ring off from my finger and threw it at him.
"What, isn't this what you wanted? You begged me to take you," he said this to let everyone think that I am a pathetic girl who begged to be with him.
"Yes, because you were the only choice but after seeing what kind of a men you really are, you don't satisfy me and you're always scared to touch me. You can't go further than a kiss after 2 years as partner's you don't know how to treat a woman romantically. You always think you're better than everybody else because you can read minds but you're a piece of shit who always wants to tell me what to do. But listen here kid, I don't feel anything for you and for what I put up with you I will rather be alone forever than be with you!" I shouted at him. I was finally at my boiling point, ready to show him what his against with if he keeps pushing me.
He couldn't say anything he knew what everybody was thinking. They didn't see him as an important men with the power of mind reading but as a pathetic boy. His family was watching with disappointment and the only thing he knew what to do was run like a coward.
[End of flashback]
"After 10 years past, he finally came back to his family as he couldn't face anybody after what happened at the party, Esme had to force him to come back home" I said.
"But did he talk to you again?" Little one asked.
"Yes after 15 years, I also ignored him during those years. Alice basically forced us to tolerate each other," I said.
"Promise me that if I come close to acting like a jackass tell me because I don't think I could face a humiliation like what happened to him," Little one said nervously.
"You are nothing like him little one and he deserved it anyways. Look at what happen in the end everyone knows not to mess with Tanya Denali," I said bluffing.
"Why didn't you tell me this?" she asked with disappointment.
"I was embarrassed. I didn't want you to know of my weakest moment and beside you don't tell me about your other girlfriends," I said.
"This is different Tanya and you know it. I don't expect you to be perfect all the time," she said caressing my cheek softly with her hand and then she kissed me. I pulled her on my lap but then my phone rings
I answered, "What Kate!" I said getting annoyed with the interruption.
"Do you expect us to stay with Edward's head and body the whole day, waiting for you to decide to finally come and deal with him already," Kate said, sounding annoyed as well.
"Alright, I will be there in a minute. I promise," I hanged up on her.
"I have to deal with Edward before the Cullen's come and join the mess as well," I said to Bella holding her closer to me.
She pouted and I laughed, I began to kiss her but my phone ringed again. I looked at the number, it was my sister. They're always so impatient.
"I have to go, I promise I will come by later," I said and gave her a quick kiss. I quickly left and headed towards the house.
I finally met with my sister with the entire Cullen clan present for my bad luck
"That's what happens for running late because someone couldn't control her hormones with her teen girlfriend," of course it was Kate always have to act as though I was doing something wrong. Now I had to deal with the Cullen's.
"Carlisle you cannot make excuses this time, if he did this to someone else they would have killed hi- " Kate interrupted me.
"Like me, if he did that to me he would be just ashes right now," Kate said.
When I began to speak, Irina spoke up.
"Carlisle don't think, because we are friends we are only going to teach him what he needs to learn because if you let him continue with his attitude he will be having problems with other vampires that will have no mercy in killing him,"
"I understand that's why me and Esme, decided we will do everything so his behavior will change," Carlisle said pulling Esme towards him comforting her.
"At 107 years old he still needs a parent to teach him things, unbelievable…" Kate said shaking her head.
"Carlisle he needs to learn the hard way, do you know how many times we told him to change his attitude. We told him to stay away from Bella because she didn't want anything to do with him but he didn't so I agreed with Irina and Kate he will have to learn the hard way," Rose said. She hates him for the way he treats women .He is mentally abusive.
"Yes, I agree with Rose. If somebody messes with my mate I will personally kill him so what Tanya's doing is nothing compared to what others will do," Jasper knew about these things. He was with Maria after all.
Carlisle knew he lost and he couldn't do anything about it.
"Carlisle let them do whatever they want with Edward, I am tired of always having discussion with him because he is always causing problems," Esme replied. She knew that this moment was going to eventually occur. Carlisle didn't say anything.
"I want to make this clear that nobody messes what between my and my mate "I said .Vampires know to respect if I be a humble naive girl who could not defend herself and depreciate herself than many vampire would have take the chance to play with I want to be leader and protect my clan I have to attitude and can defend myself and be fierce woman who know what she wants
"Bring him here Kate," Irina ordered and Kate didn't say anything and quickly did as she was told.
"Are you guys sure you are going to stay here without interfering?" I asked looking at Carlisle specifically, I like the Cullen'a but they like interfering in things that isn't there business.
"I want to know what you are going to do with my son," he said.
"Carlisle just because your here we are not going to go easier with him," Kate said throwing the body on the couch.
"I am leaving, I don't have time for this. His getting what was coming to him as he deserved this a long time a go," Rose said pulling Emmett with her.
"Me too, what he did was not okay he may have almost caused Tanya to loss her mate," Emmett said disappearing with Rose.
"I am going as well, I don't think I could stand watching him being tortured," Alice said and left with Jasper as Esme went with them also.
We put Edwards body back together again, "So Edward what do you have to say before your punishment," I said standing before him on the couch.
"Bella is just with you because you are her mate she pity's you. Do you really think she will just give up the perfect life that she has just to be with a nasty woman like you," he said with venom in his voice.
I let him see that what he said didn't really affect me, "That maybe true but she's still with me," I said with a victory smirk.
"Even when you know something hard is coming to you, you're still an arrogant boy," Kate said sitting in front of Edward with a sweet smile on her face.
"You know we could help him on stop his arrogance," Irina said thoughtfully.
"Yes show him that he's just like everybody else, let him see that he can be weak," Kate said.
"You know when we were together, did you know he hated it the most when people feel pity for him," I said smiling caressing his cheeks like I used to do when we were together.
"Do you know what they do torture vampires? They take every part of their body slowly so they can feel the pain," Irina said taking his fingers off one by one.
"You know Edward for messing with an important person in my life you can say goodbye to some parts of your body for a really long time. I want you to suffer so you remember the torture you got yourself into if you want to mess with things that I care about," I said with venom in my voice.
He was finally started to realize the situation he was in as his face started to become frightened.
"Son it will be okay," Carlisle said.
After two hours of torturing him, we took everything slowly so he could feel it and he was in much more pain with Kate putting his powers on him every time. We took his feet and hands and told Carlisle that he will have his foot after we know for sure that he was not going to cause any problem's in my relationship with Bella.
When Carlisle asked how he was going to hunt, we said it wasn't our business. Carlisle left with Edward's body back to their house.
It was already late at night, me and my sisters were discussing some things for the future, "So when are we going to move in with Bella?" Irina asked.
"I talked to her and I think after senior year," I said.
"You will have to talk to her seriously about it because when she comes with us there is no going back," Kate said.
"I know but I don't want to rush things too much for her. I want her to enjoy her life as a teenager right now," We didn't talk much about changing her and leaving her family. I still have a fear that someday she doesn't want to be a vampire and want to stay with her family instead.
"It is better for you guys to plan your future than to let things later surprise you," Irina was right.
"I'm going to Bella's house, I will be back later," I said preparing my things.
"Talk to her later but first we need to talk," Kate said stopping me.
"Let's talk about you marking her, you know that is a proof that she knows about us," Irina exclaimed I haven't thought about that.
"I haven't thought about that but here in forks, there isn't any vampire beside us and the Cullen's," I was still thinking of going to little one's house.
"Yes but Tanya learn to control your possessive behavior, you don't want her to think you don't trust her. She has enough going that her life is going to change," Irina was too keen on my possessive behaviour but they didn't understand they didn't have a mate.
"I know but it is not easy for me, I am working on it okay," I said sitting on the chair. I wish sometimes that my situation were easier, I could just turn her and let her be with me forever.
"Hey I forget to ask you, why didn't you have sex with the kid?" Kate asked.
"It is not your business and Kate don't talk to her about these things you know how uncomfortable she gets," I scolded Kate. I didn't want Kate to know Bella was a virgin or else she will be teasing her more.
"Well she will have to deal with me and sex is nothing to be embarrassed about, you know I'm just teasing," Kate replied.
"Kate I know it's in your nature to irritate people but please stop it. I want her to feel so much at home as I can when she is here so please," I said.
Before Kate could replied Irina said, "Tanya don't put so much pressure on yourself for this relationship, remember how much you put so much for your relationship to work with Edward,"
"But Bella is nothing like him," how can she compare them.
"What I meant is for you two to have to work with each other so this relationship works, remember the relationship is based on two people," Irina said clarifying herself and I nodded at her.
My telephone rings and it was Bella.
"Hey, how are you?" I asked Bella.
"You told you were coming back," she said with a sleepy voice.
"Yes I know but I needed to deal with a few things first,"
"Okay, I guess we'll talk tomorrow but now its time to sleep for me," she was so cute.
"Alright, sleep well little one. Goodnight," and I hanged up.
Later that night, I was in my room thinking about what Edward said. Why did she accept so easily to give up her life and be with me? I needed an answer so I decided to go to Bella's and I told my sisters. Irina said it was not a good idea but I decided to go anyway, Kate just rolled her eyes.
When I got to the house, I entered via the window in Bella's room. She was snoring like a bear again. I approached her bed to sit on the edge.
"Bella…" I said whispering trying to wake her up.
"Bella..." I said again.
"Mom now's not the time," she said groaning with her eyes still closed.
"I am not your mom Bella, its Tanya wake up I need to ask you something,"
"Kimberly for the love of God, let me sleep there is some food in the refrigerator," Bella said groaning again.
Who the fuck is Kimberly, I began shaking her roughly. How can she mention another woman in her sleep. She opens her eyes and looked to my direction.
"What the hell," she said with her eyes half closed and her hair was messed up.
"Hey, why did you decide so fast to be with me even if I am a vampire is it because you feel pity for me?" I asked with fear for the answer.
"Can I tell you tomorrow, I'm tired," she answered and closed her eyes again.
"No, I want an answer now," I demanded. She ignored me and continued sleeping.
"Who is Kimberly?" I asked. She opens her eyes again and she looks at me with frustration.
"Tanya I am sleeping now, I don't know if you have noticed but I have to sleep so I can wake up with energy for tomorrow," Bella said.
"Just because I'm vampire doesn't mean I don't know much about human's," I said defensively.
She sighs and says, "Tanya I don't mean to offend you okay,"
"Who is Kimberly, you said her name when you were still sleeping,"
"A friend from phoenix that always visit our house, now can I sleep?" She was getting grumpier. What did you expect Tanya, you wake her up in the midle of the night .
"Your breath smells bad," I said that was snarky rematk but at leas that would trigger a reaction
"Unbelievable with this woman…" she murmurs.
"You haven't answered my first question yet," I asked waiting for her to tell me why she accepted so quickly. I thought she would want to distance herself from me when she found out I was a vampire.
She had a frown on her face but when she looked at my worried face her expression softened, "Because something tells me your worth it. Tanya I like you a lot and I would do anything to be with you from the beginning of my dreams I knew that I had to know you. You're are an amazing woman, you deserve the best and I would do anything to make you happy," she replied.
"So it's not because of pity?" I asked again.
"No, Tanya I actually like you. Is it that so hard to believe that you woke me in the middle of the night ," she said.
"Okay sorry, I am going to go," after I was about ready to go she quickly takes my hand.
"If you want to stay" she said. I decided to stay when she offered.
"Was Kimberly pretty?" I asked after a long silent
"Tanya if you stay let me sleep for the love of God," Little one replied.
"What do you want me to do then watch you sleep like Edward did," I said why can't she just have time for me right now.
"No we can enjoy each others presence in silence," she said closing her eyes to go back to sleep.
I could do that. I like her by my side. I felt her warmed hand touch me and she said, "Hold me…" I put my arm around her. This was the relationship with a partner that I wanted all my life
