She felt the sun beat down on her skin, and she moaned as her pillow began to move underneath her.

"Swan, we have to move."

She groaned, and shook her head, and nuzzled it into his bare chest. "No…" She replied, her voice hoarse from sleep.

His chest moved as he chuckled underneath her. "As much as I would love to stay here in your arms all day long, Swan, we have to return to the cottage." He replied, kissing her head lightly.

She groaned, and moved her right arm around his bare torso, and snuggled closer. "I don't want to move." She growled, shivering when Klaus moved his right hand over her bare back in slow circles.

He chuckled, and slowly moved away from her, causing her to growl, and open her eyes.

"Get back here." She moaned, clutching the blanket over her bare chest as she sat up.

Klaus chuckled as he slipped on his jeans. He turned, and moved to sit down beside her. He lifted his right hand, and brushed her blonde hair off her face, behind her ear, and smiled. "Love…" He whispered, gazing into her eyes.

Caroline's frown disappeared as she leaned forward and placed her lips on his. She smiled against his lips as he groaned and moved to deepen it.

"You are evil." He murmured as he pushed her down on the blanket with her arms wrapping around him.

She giggled against his lips, and shrugged, when he pulled back. "You love me anyway." She replied, watching him smirk, and shake his head as he laughed.

"God knows, I do." He remarked, leaning down to kiss her lips once more. He pulled back, and helped her sit up as he watched her frown.

"You are not fair." She stated, as her hands moved to his chest.

He chuckled lightly, and shook his head. "I am sorry, Swan, but we need to return to the cottage." He replied, watching her move onto his lap in a straddling position as the blanket around her fell to the ground. He groaned, and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Don't you want me?" She asked, moving over his hips with hers with a devilish gleam in her eyes.

Klaus closed his eyes for a moment. "Oh, Swan, you know I do." He groaned out, feeling her fingers move over his skin in tantalizing sweet circles.

Caroline smiled as she saw him weaken. She knew just how to work him to get him to love her again and again. Even though she knew he was right, and that they should return to the cottage. She didn't want too.

Not yet.

Klaus tried to control the urge to push her down into the blanket and encase himself inside her once more, but with every move she made that was getting harder and harder to control.

Shaking his head, he let a low curse escape his lips, and flipped her on the ground, and crushed his lips onto hers.

Caroline moaned, and arched her back, as she felt his left hand running over her breasts. He pulled back, and bent down to kiss her breasts, and moved his tongue gently over each nipple. He smiled against her skin as she moaned and arched her back, making him engulf more of her breasts.

She dropped down to the ground, and moved her hands to his jeans, and smiled devilishly as she unfastened them, and pushed them down, freeing his erection.

Klaus moaned, and lifted his head when her hands began to draw circles around his member, and he stiffened, and felt himself harden at her touch.

He shook his head, and glared at her, but she knew he wasn't serious. She led him to her core, and smiled as he pushed forward, finally giving her what they both wanted.

He groaned as he began to move inside of her, and smirked as he saw her coming undone underneath him.

"Look at me, Swan." He moaned, getting her to open her eyes.

Caroline smiled, and let out a moan as he continued to move within her. "Rogue…" She groaned, arching her back.

He smiled, and bent his head as he kissed her lips until he felt her coming, and he lifted his lips as he cried out her name, and she his.

At that moment, they both knew what they had eight hundred years ago, was nothing compared to this.

As they cried out once more, they felt their souls join as their bodies had, and as they climbed down, they realized what they had now was stronger than before, and with that knowledge, they smiled.

Katherine tossed her head back and forth as the dreams invaded her mind became nightmares. She felt hands on her face, and on her shoulders, trying to arouse her from her slumber. She let out a loud cry, and jerked up, only to wince when the movement pulled on her ribs.

She leaned back, and looked up to see Elijah looking down into her eyes, with concern and worry leaking out of his.

"Elijah…" She whispered, blinking a few times, and swallowing the emotion she was feeling.

Elijah pushed her curly hair from her sweat drenched face, and sat down next to her. "What's wrong, Katerina?" He asked, watching her close her eyes.

She turned her head, and swallowed. "I…I can't." She whispered, brokenly.

Elijah sighed. This was not the woman who just last night woke up, and showed her strength by making it. This was a shell of a woman, and he cursed the man who turned her to this. "You're safe, Katerina." He whispered, wiping away her tears.

Katherine nodded, and turned her head back to him. "Hold me, Elijah." She whispered with a cry.

Elijah nodded, and moved to pull her into his arms, securely.

Katherine closed her eyes, and prayed that her nightmare would not come true. That Tyler would not find them, and destroy everything they had hoped for, for the past ten years.

That she would forget the love she had with Elijah, for if Tyler took Caroline away from Klaus, everything would be destroyed, and the love from eight hundred years ago would be ripped from them, and the sad part…they wouldn't remember any of it.

Caroline slipped on her dress, and turned her back, as Klaus slowly pulled the zipper up to secure her dress to her.

"How did you even get this dress off without unzipping it last night, love?" He asked, as he wrapped his arms around her.

She smiled, and leaned into his body, as her head rested on his shoulder. "I had loosened the zipper last night before you came." She replied with a smile.

He chuckled, and kissed her temple. "You, my Swan, are sneaky." He replied, kissing her temple once more.

She giggled, and placed her hands on his resting on his stomach. "I'm just a good planner." She replied, loving the sound of his laughter. "Klaus…" She began after a moment.

"What?" He asked, softly, placing his cheek on her head.

Caroline lowered her eyes, and inhaled deeply. "What would have happened if Tyler had found me before you did?" She asked, fearing the answer.

Klaus inhaled deeply, and closed his eyes for a moment, before opening them, and hating the answer he had to give. "Our love would have been destroyed." He answered, roughly.

Caroline felt tears burn her eyes, and slowly she turned in his arms, to look into his eyes. "I don't believe that." She stated, shaking her head.

Klaus frowned, and turned his head. "It's true, Caroline." He replied, distantly.

She shook her head, and placed her hands on his chest. "I don't believe that the pure love we had and have would be destroyed because of some man who wants revenge." She replied, causing him to turn his head back to her.

He reached up, and grasped her hands on his chest, and gazed into her eyes. "Did you finish the book with our tale inside?" He asked, searching her eyes.

Slowly, she shook her head. "No, I didn't."

He sighed, and bowed his head. "Towards the end of the tale, it states that if our love is ripped from us, or one of us is taken from the other, then our memories will be taken, and our love will be as it never has been." He recalled, brokenly.

Caroline's eyes filled with tears, and she shook her head fervently. "I don't believe it." She stated, clinging to his shirt.

Klaus clenched his jaw, and bowed his head. "I didn't want to believe it either, Swan, but that is what it means. I even asked Bonnie, and she agrees." He replied, lowly.

She shook her head, and pushed away from him. "No, I refuse to accept that what we have can be taken away from us, if Tyler takes me away from you." She ranted, moving away from him, whirled around with her back to him.

Klaus tilted his head to the side, and approached her carefully. "Caroline, there is no other way. That's why you have to be protected, I won't lose you." He stated, roughly.

Caroline tilted her head back, and looked at the blue sky above them. "Bonnie told me something years ago, something that…" She paused, turning to look at him, squarely in the eyes. "I think you need to hear." She stated, taking a step towards him. "Love will find a way." She added, with a fire in her eyes.

Klaus swallowed, and smiled faintly. "Love…"

She shook her head, as she lifted her hands to stop him. "Don't…" She replied, stepping closer to him. "Did you feel what I felt this morning as we made love?" She asked, watching him slowly nod. She smiled, and placed her right hand on her heart as she stopped within a foot from him. "We are connected, Klaus." She stated, removing her hand and placing it on his chest. "I don't care what some stupid book says; you are my true love, my only love, and my soul." She concluded, tears filling her eyes. "Nothing and no one is going to take you away from me." She replied, shaking her head.

Klaus searched her eyes, and felt tears burn his eyes as he listened to her words. "I love you, Swan." He whispered, knowing that was the only words he needed to say at the moment.

She smiled, and nodded. "I love you, Rogue." She whispered, closing the distance between them, and placed her lips on his for brief and passionate kiss, before pulling back to just hold him as tears fell from her eyes.

Klaus sighed as his arms encircled her waist, and he knew that it would take an army to take their love away from them. He felt a memory flash in his mind from when Tyler threatened to take her away from him before.

"What do you want, Caroline?" He asked, his voice cracking slightly.

She blinked back a few tears and gave him a watery smile. "I want to know that if Tyler succeeds in taking me away from you," She paused, as she stroked his face softly. "That you'll come for me." She finished, her eyes dimming slightly.

Klaus groaned as he gathered her up in his arms and crushed his lips onto hers. She moaned at the contact, and threaded her fingers through his hair. He slowly separated their lips, and looked down at her beautiful face.

"Even if the sky fell from the heavens," He began, moving his thumbs over her lips, softly gazing into her eyes. "There is nothing that will keep me from coming for you. I won't let them." He vowed his voice strong and full of promise.

Caroline smiled, and pulled him closer, tears falling down her face. "I love you so much, Nik. So much that it hurts." She whispered through her tears. "It will hurt so much more if I were ever taken away from you." She added, planting her lips on his shoulder.

He sighed, and kissed her shoulder lightly. "I love you too, Caroline, and I promise that I would do everything thing in my power to keep you with me." He whispered, into her ear. "If you were ever taken away from me, I promise I will find you. I will always come for you." He promised once more, holding her tighter to him.

She nodded into his shoulder. "And I will always fight to return to you." She replied, tightening her arms around his shoulders.

"No," He began, pulling back to look into her eyes with a fierce gaze. "Promise me, that you will fight to survive. I need you to stay alive, Swan." He demanded in a strong voice.

She smiled, and touched his face gently with her right hand, as her left hand stroked his hair. "I promise, Klaus." She replied, softly.

~End Flashback~

Caroline felt his trouble soul going back in time, and she smiled. "I know what you're thinking." She whispered, running her fingers through the back of his head.

He swallowed, and tightened his hold. "Do you?" He asked, feeling her pull back to look into his eyes.

"You're thinking about the time you proposed to me." She remarked, watching him smile lightly, before turning serious. "The time you promised to find me." She stated, firmly.

Klaus nodded, and bowed his head. "I kept that promise." He whispered, feeling her hand touch his face.

"Yes, you did, and you will keep this one, Klaus." She stated, strongly. "If I get taken from you, which is always a possibility, promise me that you will come for me."

Klaus smiled, and lifted his right hand to touch her face. "Déjà vu." He whispered, watching her smile.

"That's right." She remarked, smiling for a moment. "Promise me, Niklaus."

He slowly nodded, and stroked her face with his hand. "I promise, Caroline."

She smiled, and sighed lightly, before kissing his lips lightly. "I love you." She whispered, against his lips. "I love you so much it hurts."

He smiled, as he remembered those words from before. "And I love you, Caroline, so much it hurts." He whispered, as their foreheads touched.

As they stood in the center of the clearing, the wind began to blow around, seeming to seal their love for all eternity, and forging their souls as one.

Nothing was going to tear their love apart. No matter what that book or Tyler says.

Jean glared up at the two women, and finally turned her eyes away from them.

"You can continue to give us the silent treatment, Jean, but we are not going anywhere." Sophie remarked, leaning back in her chair.

Jean scowled, and turned her head to look at her. "Why should I say anything to you two?" She demanded, her amber eyes flashing.

Sophie sighed, and leaned forward. "Because you want to see your daughter." She replied, watching Jean's eyes widen.

"What have you done to her?!" Jean shouted, trying to jerk out of her new bonds around her wrists and body.

Davina shook her head. "What have you done to her, Jean?" She asked, causing Jean to stop her movements. "You hurt her more than any of us will ever do." She added, strongly.

"I have never hurt my daughter!" Jean spat out.

Sophie shook her head. "Yes you have, Jean, though you won't admit it." She replied, standing up. "This will go so much better if you remembered." She added, with a hint of sadness.

Jean scoffed. "I do remember." She began, coldly. "I remember my baby being ripped from my arms by Klaus and my supposed family because of my drug habit." She stated, lifting her chin higher. "They had no right to take her. I am her mother, not them, and certainly not you!" She shouted, her eyes going wild.

"Mommy?"

They had been through here. He smiled, as he straightened. Two days old, and he was getting closer than ever.

Taking out his phone, he sent a quick text.

Close to their location. Let you know when I find her.
