Jean scoffed. "I do remember." She began, coldly. "I remember my baby being ripped from my arms by Klaus and my supposed family because of my drug habit." She stated, lifting her chin higher. "They had no right to take her. I am her mother, not them, and certainly not you!" She shouted, her eyes going wild.

"Mommy?"

Jean stopped her ranting, and her eyes moved towards the door, and widened. "Anna?" She whispered, watching as the little girl stepped through the door.

Anna glanced at Sophie, and Davina, before focusing on her mom. "Mommy, please listen to them." She pleaded, tears filling her eyes.

Jean glared at the two women, and clenched her teeth. "What have you done to my daughter?!" She shouted, causing Anna to flinch slightly.

Sophie sighed, and lifted her left arm towards the young girl. "We haven't done anything, Jean." She answered, calmly.

Anna sighed, and lifted her chin up, and walked calmly towards her mother. She knew exactly what she had to do.

"Anna?" Sophie began, but the little girl continued towards Jean.

"It's okay, Aunt Sophie." Anna replied, when she got within a foot of her mother. Holding out her hands, she grasped her mother's face, and stared into her eyes. "Remember, mommy."

Jean's eyes widened, and though she tried to fight it, a flood of memories began to pour into her mind. Memories, she never had before, memories of a life that was different and yet happier.

Tears fell down her cheeks, and her heart began to break in her chest. "Oh, God, what have I done?"

Klaus entered their bedroom, and sighed as he saw her standing in front of the window with her blonde hair falling down her back, curling naturally. She was wearing a tank top and blue shorts, with her feet bare.

He inhaled deeply, and sighed slightly with a smile on his face.

Caroline turned her head, and smiled. "Hello, handsome." She replied, turning her body to face him as he walked towards her.

"Hello, beautiful." He returned, closing the distance between them.

Caroline smiled, and placed her hands on his chest. "Where have you been this morning?" She asked, tilting her head to the side.

He smiled, and lifted his right hand to caress her face. "I had to make a few calls, and it took longer than I expected." He replied, stroking her chin with his right thumb.

She pursed her lips, and smiled. "Well, I suppose you're forgiven." She replied, watching him smile wider.

"Oh, well, thank you, Swan." He replied, nodding his head.

She giggled, and leaned into his hand. They were silent for a few moments, before her smiling face faded into a solemn look. "Did you find out anything?" She asked, searching his eyes.

Klaus sighed, and stroked her face once more before dropping it to her waist. "Tyler has disappeared, and no one has any idea where he went." He began, backing away from her to move towards the window.

Caroline followed him, and placed her hands on his shoulders as she placed her head on his back. "You'll find him, Nik." She whispered, rubbing her hands over his shoulders.

He sighed, and slowly nodded. "I wish I had your faith." He whispered, with a broken tone.

She sighed, and moved around him, to gaze up into his eyes. "It's not faith, Klaus." She began, touching his face. "It's love." She replied, stroking his face tenderly.

He smiled, and searched her eyes, as he slowly lowered his head to hers, and placed his forehead on hers. Caroline sighed, and slowly wrapped her arms around his neck, and felt his arms wrap around her waist.

"I love you, Niklaus." She whispered, knowing that he needed to hear it.

Klaus sighed, and lifted his head a fraction to look into his eyes. "I love you, Caroline." He returned, with a slow smile.

Caroline smiled, and leaned her head forward. With a soft tenderness, she placed her lips on his, and sealed their devotion.

They slowly separated, and both smiled as their foreheads touched. "I want to remember everything." She whispered in the silence.

Klaus pulled back, and slowly searched her eyes. "What?" He asked, his brow furrowing in confusion.

She smiled, as her fingers played with the hair at the nape of his neck. "I want to remember every moment from the past, and now, so if something happens then we will have now doubt of the strength of our love." She answered, searching his eyes.

He smiled faintly. "Love…" He trailed off, not really knowing what to say to her request.

She smiled, and dipped her head. "I want to love you into eternity, Niklaus. I want to go down in the dark screaming your name until there are no more lives to live." She declared, feeling her heart strengthen with her words. "I want to stay by your side until it's all said and done. I want to never leave you because I know that if anything ever happens to me or you, I will not survive a single moment without your love in my heart." She paused, tears filling her eyes, and slowly trickling down her face.

He sighed, and inhaled deeply, his eyes filling with tears. "You have no fear of that, Caroline." He whispered, touching her face. "My love will always be with you." He added, searching her eyes. "My heart belongs to you, my beautiful Swan, and always will."

She smiled at his vow, and moved her right hand to his face, and lightly stroked it. "As does mine, my Rogue." She vowed to him, placing her left hand on his chest, over his heart.

At that moment, the sun began to shine through the windows, and covered the lovers in a warm light, as if the spirits supported, and approved this match.

Caroline smiled, and bowed her head, placing it on his chest. "You know, I just remembered something." She whispered, pulling away from him, and moved to leave the room. "Wait here." She replied, before heading out.

Klaus waited, wondering what she could have remembered. He moved his head towards the window, until he heard the door close in the bedroom, and her sigh. He slowly turned his head to look at her, and couldn't resist the smile on his face as she smiled brightly at him.

She walked carefully to him, and held out her hand, as she grasped his right hand with her left, and placed a trinket in his palm. "I believe this belongs to you." She whispered, smiling.

He lowered his gaze, and his eyes widened as he took in the small pendant in his hand. The same pendant he had given her when he proposed to her over eight hundred years ago.

"You…how…" He stuttered, lifting his eyes to hers.

She smiled, and shrugged. "My mom gave it to me when I turned eighteen. She told me that it was a symbol of a love that never dies." She replied, smiling wider. "I didn't realize what she meant until my memories returned." She added, watching him lift the pendant level with their faces.

"If memory serves, my love, I gave this to you as an engagement gift." He replied, unfastening the chain, and moved it towards her neck.

Caroline tilted her head to the side, and smirked as her eyes searched his. "What are you saying, Niklaus?" She asked, watching him slip the necklace around her neck, securely.

He smiled, and slowly traced his fingers on her neck, causing her to shiver at the contact. "What do you think I'm saying?" He asked, drawing circles on her collarbone.

She bit her bottom lip, and tried to stay focused, but found it difficult. "Is…is…is it too soon?" She asked, stuttering, and breathless.

He smiled, and shook his head. "We've spent eight hundred years apart, Swan, and granted we've just found each other, but I don't see why not." He whispered, leaning forward.

She smiled, and touched the pendant with her left hand. "Yes." She replied, searching his eyes.

His eyes widened slightly, but smile never left his face. "Yes, what?" He asked, watching her smile, and fiddle with the pendant.

She moved her left hand to his face, and began to slowly stroke it. "Ask first." She whispered, her eyes sparkling with a mischievous glint.

He smirked, and chuckled slightly. Moving his right hand up to her cheek, and gently caressed it. "Marry me." He whispered, holding her eyes.

She smiled, and though she felt a shiver run through her veins, she pursed her lips. "That wasn't a question." She replied, lightly.

Klaus smiled, and rubbed his thumb over her lips. "Will you, Caroline Forbes, my beautiful Swan, do me the honor of becoming my wife once again?" He asked, seductively.

Caroline smiled at his words, and felt tears burn her eyes. "Oh my Rogue, of course I will." She answered, letting the tears fall down her eyes.

With a small squeal of delight, Caroline leapt into his arms, and held him with all the strength she could muster at the moment, tears of joy raining down her face.

"Oh, I love you so much, Caroline." He whispered, holding her close to him.

She nodded, and sighed. "I love you too, so much, Niklaus." She whispered back, holding him just as tightly.

As they held each other, they knew then that whatever they faced, they would face it with, not just each other, but with love.

As the sun once again filled the room, the pendant around Caroline's neck began to glow, and slowly encase them in the stillness of the room, and neither of them noticed, but at that moment their love was sealed, and nothing was going to destroy it or them.

Kol moved his hand over Bonnie's bare back as they lay in their bed, ready for the night to come.

"You've been awfully quiet this afternoon." Bonnie remarked, stroking his bare chest with her right hand.

Kol sighed, and moved his eyes down at her body. "I just have a lot on my mind, gypsy." He whispered, kissing the top of her head.

Bonnie moved to sit up, and turned her head to look down at him. "There's something else bothering you." She replied, studying his voice.

Kol sighed, and lifted his left hand to stroke her face lightly, pushing her brown hair behind her ear. "I just keep thinking that everything seemed so easy, how we found Sophie and Katherine quickly, and how Tyler just let them go so carelessly." He replied, shrugging his shoulders, as his head shook.

Bonnie sighed, and looked down. "You think, Tyler's planning something else, or is going to try something else." She said, meaning it to be a question.

Kol sighed, and slowly nodded. "Yeah, but I'm not sure what, that's what has me perplexed." He replied, closing his eyes, and leaning his head against the backboard of the bed.

Bonnie sighed. "Well, I'm sure that you will figure it out." She replied, encouragingly.

He slowly nodded once more, and gazed into her eyes. "I hope so, before it's too late." He replied, stroking her face.

She nodded, and leaned into his hand. "I hope so too." She whispered, leaning back down, to cuddle into his side.

Jean stood up, and then carefully knelt down in front of her daughter. "Anna, I'm so sorry." She whispered, holding out her arms.

Anna nodded, and leapt into her mother's waiting arms, and cried against her chest. "It's okay, mama, you're back."

Jean nodded, and held her daughter close, as she lifted her eyes to Sophie, and sighed. "Soph." She whispered, letting her daughter go to stand up, and walk over to her friend. "Oh, Sophie." She cried, reaching for her long lost friend.

Sophie nodded, and reached for her, and held Jean as Jean cried out for the crimes she had committed, and for time that had been wasted. "It's okay, you're back, Jeanie." She whispered, stroking her friend's back.

Jean closed her eyes, and slowly pulled back. "I can't believe I turned my back on my family, and on Klaus and Caroline." She whispered, turning away from them, and glancing at her daughter. "Oh, God, what have I done?" She cried, shaking her head.

Sophie shook her head. "It's okay, Jeanie, you didn't remember. You're not at fault." She replied, calmly.

Jean shook her head, and slowly turned around. "You don't understand, Sophie. I gave away the location of the cabin to Tyler, or at least the roundabout location before I came here." She replied, glancing at her daughter.

Sophie turned her gaze to Davina, who nodded, and headed out the door.

This changed everything.

He paused in the small clearing, and smiled as he saw the small cottage with adjacent cottages beside it. He reached for his phone, but paused when he caught sight of movement in one of the windows.

Slowly, he moved to the back of the cottage, and hid carefully in the shadows. Moving his head slightly, he saw two figures in the bed, and his eyes widened. No, it couldn't be.

"Bonnie?"
