AN: PREPARE TO BE A TINY BIT SURPRISED!
Please remember to review at the end! :)
The door opened slowly to the small room, and Damon sighed, and turned, gradually. He sighed, and closed his eyes.
It was just before sunrise, and he had yet to fall asleep, and now, he knew there was no way he could sleep now.
"You shouldn't be here." He whispered, stepping closer to his visitor.
The visitor stepped out of the shadows, and gazed at Damon with a sad face. "Neither should you."
He smirked, and shrugged his shoulders. "Well, you know me, never do what I should." He replied, stepping closer.
The visitor smirked, and placed her hand on his face. "Did he hurt you?" She whispered, searching his eyes.
Damon sighed, and brushed her brown hair from her face, lightly. "No more than usual." He whispered, trailing a finger down her face. "Why didn't you tell me about Bonnie?" He asked, after a moment.
She sighed, and bowed her head, dropping her hand. "You know why, Damon." She whispered, faintly.
Damon sighed, and lifted her head with his finger. "And you know that I loved her in another life, but," He paused, searching her eyes. "She's found someone new, and she's happy, and so am I." He added, catching her blue eyes.
She smiled, and nodded. "Are you really?" She whispered, wanting to know the truth.
Damon smiled, and cupped her face, gently. "I am." He whispered, leaning down to kiss her lips, gently.
She smiled against his lips, and touched his face, lightly before he pulled back. "I've missed you." She whispered, searching his eyes.
Damon smiled, and kissed her forehead, lightly. "I missed you." He whispered, placing his forehead on hers. "God, I wanted to kill Tyler when he took you." He stated, shaking his head on hers.
She sighed, and wrapped her right arm around his neck. "There was nothing you could have done." She whispered, trying her best to calm him down.
He pulled back, and stepped away from her. "I could have sent you a message letting you know that he was coming, or taken you somewhere safe." He stated, shaking his head.
She smiled at his devotion, but she knew no matter what, he couldn't have done it. "He would have killed you, Damon, and then where would we be?" She replied, stepping closer to him.
Damon sighed, and bowed his head. His heart pulled in his chest, every time he thought about her being in Tyler's clutches. When he had met her after being recruited by Tyler, he had done everything he could to protect her, even though he knew that it was risky, especially if Tyler found out about his feelings for her.
"Damon," She whispered, approaching him, carefully. "You sent Jean this way, didn't you?" She asked, watching him nod.
"I gave her a hint, as to where the cottage would be located." He replied, slowly turning towards the window in his room, and looked out as the sun began to rise up between the trees. "I didn't know the full location, thanks to you." He added, bowing his head.
She sighed, and moved towards him. "You told me that it was safer if you didn't know, and I agreed with you." She replied, touching his back, softly.
He nodded, but his eyes remained focused on the sunrise. "It doesn't matter now." He replied, finally moving his gaze to hers. "Tyler knows the general area where we are." He began, softly. "He received a message from someone, giving him coordinates." He added, firmly.
She lowered her eyes, and inhaled deeply, before letting it out. "Jean did, before she regained her memories." She replied, sadly.
Damon nodded in understanding, though anger filled his person. "Did she get her memories back?" He asked, through clenched teeth.
She nodded, and smiled. "Anna accomplished that." She replied with remembrance.
He smiled, and turned to look at her, calmly. "So, she remembers." He replied, watching her nod. "That's good." He replied, turning back to the window.
She smiled, as she reached forward to grasp his hand in hers. "You should talk to her."
"Jean?" He asked, though he knew who she was talking about.
"No, Bonnie," She replied, bowing her head.
"I won't cause her pain, especially when I've found you." He added, lowly, shaking his head.
She leaned forward, and tilted her head up to kiss his cheek, softly. "It would give you both closure, Damon." She whispered, pulling back, and headed towards the door.
"Sophie," He called out.
She stopped at the door, and slowly turned around to face him, as he approached her. He didn't say a word, as his hands cupped her face, and his lips crashed on top of hers, in a searing kiss full of promise and love.
Pulling back, he gazed into her eyes, and smiled. "I may have loved her in the past, but you are the one I love now, Sophie." He whispered, stroking her face, gently.
She smiled content for the moment of his promise. Reaching up, she touched his face. "As I love you, Damon." She whispered, kissing his lips once more before pulling away and headed out the door.

She gazed once more at the sleeping man in the bed behind her, and smiled before opening the door. She walked slowly towards the front door, and reached for the knob.
"And just where do you think you're off to at this time of night?"
She stilled, and slowly turned around to find a disheveled Caroline standing a few feet away from her with her arms folded across her chest. "Just going for a little walk." Bonnie replied, motioning to the door.
Caroline shook her head, and stepped closer. "Bullshit, you were going to see him, weren't you?" She asked, lifting a brow.
Bonnie shrugged her shoulders. "I was…I just…"
Caroline shook her head, and lifted her right hand. "Don't bother, Bonnie." She replied, moving towards the living room. "Why do you want to see him?" She asked, sitting down on the couch.
Bonnie sighed, and moved further into the room. "I don't know. Closer, maybe." She answered, sitting on the chair across from Caroline. "I never got to say goodbye to him back then and now…"
"Bonnie, things are different now." Caroline replied, leaning forward. "You have Kol, and he probably has someone too." She added, calmly.
"But what if he doesn't, Caroline?" Bonnie asked, firmly. "What if he never forgot me, and wants to start over?" She asked, moving her head around.
"Bonnie," Caroline began, with a sigh. "That was over eight hundred years ago, and we were different people then." She stated, firmly. "Yes, we have memories of our past life, but we are completely different. If it was meant to be with Damon, then you wouldn't have found Kol or even remembered with him." She reasoned.
Bonnie nodded, and sighed. "Is it wrong for me to want to see him? At least one last time?" She asked, carefully.
Caroline shook her head. "No, it's not, if it's for the right reasons." She answered, standing up. "I better get back to Klaus. He'll worry if he wakes up and I'm not there." She added, with a smile.
Bonnie nodded, and smiled in return. She let out a sigh as Caroline walked away, and closed her eyes. Her mind was already made up.
She needed answers, and he was going to give them to her.

Caroline climbed into the bed next to him, after removing the robe she had slipped on to meet Bonnie, and smiled as he rolled over to pull her to his side. "I thought you were sleeping." She whispered, as he kissed her forehead.
"I woke up when you left." He muttered, sleepily. "Is she going to see him?" He asked, absently.
"Yes." Caroline whispered, snuggling closer to him.
He hummed, and pulled her closer. She smiled and wrapped her left arm around his back, snuggling closer. At the moment, all she could think about was how right this felt, and how much she missed it before she knew what it was. Her mind drifted to the present threat, and fear gripped at her heart. No matter how much faith she had in her love, she always seemed to fear that it could be taken away.
"I won't let you go." He whispered, catching Caroline's mind from the pain she was feeling.
She smiled, and hugged him closer. "I won't let you go, either." She whispered, firmly, before drifting to a deep slumber.

"Are you just going to stand there or are you going to say something?"
Bonnie froze as his voice drifted to her ears as she stood in the doorway of the small cottage where they were keeping him. "Damon," She whispered, watching his back stiffen at the sound of her voice.
"Bonnie," He whispered, turning to face her. "You shouldn't be here." He replied, lowly.
"I wanted to be sure it really was you they had captured." She remarked, stepping further into the room.
He smirked, and bowed his head. "Well, you have your answer." He remarked, catching her green eyes with his blue for a brief moment.
She nodded, and sighed. "You haven't changed." She replied, with a small smile.
He shrugged his shoulders. "Considering that the last time we saw each other was eight hundred years ago, I'll take your word for it." He stated, leaning against the wall beside him.
She shook her head, and folded her arms over her chest. "How have you been?" She asked, bowing her head.
Damon smirked, and turned his head. "Well, I'm working for the man who killed me eight hundred years ago, and the woman I loved back then is in love with someone else, but I can't really complain about that because I found someone, so…" He trailed off, shrugging his shoulders.
She smiled, and lifted her head. "So, you've found someone new." She replied, lightly.
He nodded, and smiled. "I love her." He replied, with a soft voice.
"I'm happy for you, Damon." She replied, nodding.
He smiled, and moved away from the wall. "I'm happy for you too, Bonnie." He paused, stepping towards her. "Kol is a good man." He added, kissing her cheek lightly.
She smiled, and bowed her head. "He is." She replied, stepping back, and nodded. "I'll see you later, Damon." She stated, moving towards the door. "Maybe next time, you can tell me more about your new woman." She added, watching him smile, and dip his head.
"Yeah, next time." He agreed, moving towards his bedroom, as she left him alone in the night.

Light spewed into the room, and landed on Caroline's bare back, warming her skin. She slowly emerged from her slumber, and opened her eyes, focusing on the room around her.
Noticing the space beside her was empty; she sat up, and clutched the sheets around her chest. She looked around, and breathed a sigh of relief when the door opened, and Klaus walked in, carrying a tray of breakfast food with orange juice.
"Such service…" She started, leaning back, as he placed it over her legs. "Should I be worried?" She asked, glaring at him underneath her eyelashes.
He smiled, and shook his head. "Can't a man serve the woman he loves for a morning?" He asked, innocently.
She smiled, and leaned forward, securing the sheet underneath her arms, so she could kiss his lips. "He can." She whispered, kissing his lips once again.
He smiled, and returned her kiss before pulling back. "You better eat." He whispered, motioning to the plate.
She gave a coy smile, and lifted the tray to place it on the small table next to the bed. "I'm not really hungry for food." She replied, scooting forward.
He smiled, and moved to lay her down on her back. "What did you have in mind?" He asked, watching her smile, as she bit her bottom lip.
"Well, I had," She began, pulling his head down so she could whisper in his ear. It got the desired effect as Klaus moaned, and slammed his lips on hers.
She moved her hands over his bare back, and raked her nails over his skin, as her body arched against his.
He moved away from her, slipping off his pants, only to climb underneath the sheet, and on top of her. "Your wish is my command." He whispered, claiming her lips.
She moaned, and moved her hands over his back, thrashing underneath him as much as she could.
Klaus smiled, as his forehead laid on hers, and he slowly pushed forward with his hips. Caroline moaned, lowly, arching her hips upward, wanting the contact as much as she wanted air. "Say it, love." He whispered, pushing forward, but pulled back, torturing her.
She moaned, and dug her fingernails into his shoulders. "Please, Nik, fill me." She whispered, in a strained voice.
He smiled, and slowly pushed forward, until he was buried deep within her, causing them both to moan in satisfaction. "Oh, love." He growled out, pushing forward as much as he could.
She bit her bottom lip, straining not to scream, as she wanted to. "Yes!" She moaned, holding his eyes when hers opened.
He nodded, and began to rock her as much as he could, straining to complete their love. He kissed her lips, lightly, before his body began to surge uncontrollably.
Caroline felt her body tighten around him, and she bit her bottom lip, tasting the sweat from the passion of their lovemaking. She arched her body, and wanted to scream, but she held it in.
"Oh, Caroline!" Klaus growled, chanting her name like a prayer, when her legs wrapped around his waist.
"Klaus!" She panted, moaning, thrashing her head to the side, as his thrusts came faster and harder and deeper.
Klaus couldn't control his body as he continued to thrust deeper inside her, wanting to make this moment last and last for as long as he possibly could.
His hips thrusted deep within her, and he felt her squeeze around him, as her body arched and her face turned to absolute pleasure. Soon, he came undone above her, and thrusted a few more times before his body sang with pleasure, and he collapsed on top of his love.
"Oh my God," Caroline whispered, holding him close to her. "That was amazing." She added, as his head lifted up, and he gazed down into her eyes.
"You are amazing." He whispered, huskily.
She smiled, and ran her fingers over his face. "No, you are." She whispered, bringing his head down to kiss his lips.
He smiled, and lifted his head, nudging her nose with his. "I love you, Swan." He whispered, kissing the tip of her nose.
She smiled, and kissed his cheek. "I love you, Rogue." She whispered, stroking his scruffy face.
He smiled, and kissed her lips once more before moving to the side. "Your breakfast is cold now." He stated, his chest heaving from the passionate lovemaking.
She shrugged, and rolled to her side. "It was the thought that counted, besides what better way to pep up a morning than true love." She whispered, planting her hand on his chest.
He chuckled, and brushed her blonde hair away from her face. "Amen." He whispered, kissing her lips. "We need to get up, love." He remarked, kissing her lips.
"Do we have to?" She moaned, scooting closer to him, trying to keep him there as long as she could.
"Yes, because I have a meeting with some people." He replied, against her lips.
She sighed, pulling back. "About Tyler." She concluded, searching his eyes.
He nodded, and caressed her face. "Now that he knows about the cottage, we need to move to another location, just to be safe." He stated, strongly.
She nodded, and placed her hand on his chest, lightly drawing circles over his skin. "I know." She agreed, knowing this was for the best.
"We can always come back to this cottage after Tyler has been taken care of, Swan." He replied, stroking her face.
She smiled, and moved to lay her head on his shoulder. "I know." Repeating the only words, she could think to say at the moment.
"Swan," He began, but no words would form on his lips.
"Klaus," She began, aligning the side of her body against his. "I trust you, and I know you will do whatever it takes to keep us together and safe." She replied, firmly. "You don't have to explain anything to me. I trust you, and I love you." She added, fervently.
Klaus smiled, and held her close to his side. "I love you, Swan." He whispered, kissing her head, and for the moment, he knew this was what he was fighting for.
"I love you, Rogue." She whispered, softly.

Elijah sat next to her bed, hoping she would open her eyes once again. So much had happened since she had been returned to him, and even though her wounds on the outside had healed, it was the broken ribs that had him concerned.
And the nightmares.
He sighed, as he brushed her dark curls away from her face, willing her to open her chocolate eyes, and look at him.
He longed to see her eyes, and see the light he so many times wondered why it shown just for him. Bowing his head, he inhaled deeply.
"Get that worry off your face, 'Lijah." A gravelly voice replied, in front of him.
He lifted his face to find her smiling at him with those chocolate eyes shining at him. "Oh, Katerina, I can't help, but worry about you." He replied, stroking her face.
She smiled, and grasped his hand with her right. "That's why I love you." She whispered, kissing his hand. "What did I miss?" She asked, smiling at him.
Elijah frowned, and sighed. "Katerina…" He began, but stopped when she glared at him. He knew better than to argue with her. Sighing once again, he gave in. "Vaughn captured Damon lurking around the outside." He began, again, watching her expression turn to understanding.
"I saw him when Tyler was trying to get Sophie and I to talk. He hated being there, helping Tyler." She explained, with a nod of her head.
"I see." Elijah replied, contemplative.
"What else happened?" She asked, getting his mind out of the faze he was in.
"Jean remembered." He stated, firmly.
She smiled, and lowered her eyes. "Anna," She whispered, knowing the only one to get Jean to remember would be her daughter.
Elijah nodded. "That's not all." He replied, after a moment. "Tyler knows where we are." He stated, simply. "We are going to have to move tomorrow." He added, softly.
She nodded in understanding. "Okay," She replied, lightly. "Then I better get ready." She replied, moving to sit up, though her ribs pulled.
"Katerina, you should rest, so you will be." He stated, pushing her gently back down.
"Elijah," She began, but stopped when his lips touched hers.
"Listen to me." He whispered, kissing her lips once again, causing her to groan against his.
"I hate it when you do that." She stated when he pulled back. "Fine, I'll stay in bed until tomorrow." She replied, lifting the sheets around her.
He smiled, and stood up. "I'll go and fix you some lunch. You need your strength." He stated, kissing her forehead before moving to leave the room.
Katherine sighed as the door closed. "Why do I listen to him?" She asked, shaking her head, though she already knew the answer.
She loved him, and people do crazy things when they are in love.

Tyler grinned as he looked at the text on his phone.
Now he would have her, and this time he would not fail. He would personally see to it that Klaus' love was ripped from his hands, as his life will be.
This time he would succeed, and that damn gypsy's tale would end, and life will be as it should be. With him as king, and Caroline as his Queen: forever.
Please be kind!
I hope you all enjoyed it. I couldn't remember if I put what this chapter was going to have in it until after this was written, so some of the things would be in the next chapter!
Since I'm counting this weekend as my birthday weekend, I am planning to update a lot this weekend! As a gift from me to you! Just because I love giving! And since so many of you were so supportive of me during my little personal crisis, it truly is a gift! THANK YOU!
Until Next Time...
