I apologize for keeping you all in the dark for a little while, but I was focused on completing another story, and this was put on the back burner yet again.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT! IT MEANS ALOT!

Please remember to review at the end! :)

Caroline fingered the necklace around her neck, and closed her eyes. They had been packing all morning, and she just needed to get away. Klaus and Elijah had gotten into a fight about moving Katherine, and frankly, it was giving her a headache.

She bowed her head, and listened to the water from the river move across the rocks in a smooth pattern, that seemed to calm her nerves. It was rare nowadays for her to feel this calm and peace, even with Klaus, so these moments were extra special for her.

Everything was happening so fast to her. Not that she didn't mind being in love, and happy. It's just that she wasn't sure what to do anymore.

She moved slowly down the shore, taking in the beauty and silence of the moment. The wind blew around her, and she sighed as she lifted her head higher, and closed her eyes.

"Caroline?"

She turned around with a start, and sighed with mild aggravation, but quickly held it in. "Hey, Bonnie." She replied, turning back to the water.

Bonnie smiled, and approached her friend. "I'm sorry to disturb you, but I had to get away from the cottage." She stated, shaking her head.

Caroline smiled, and nodded. "I know." She replied, turning back to the river.

"Klaus says we're going to be leaving in a few minutes." Bonnie returned, after a moment.

"Okay." Caroline replied, nodding her head.

"Are you okay?" Bonnie asked, looking at her friend.

Caroline nodded, and smiled, but it didn't reach her eyes. "I'm fine."

"Caroline," Bonnie scolded, glaring at her.

"I just," She began, shaking her head, before bowing it. "This is just so much." She replied, moving away from the water. "I mean, I love Klaus, don't get me wrong." She replied, turning to look at her friend. "It's just," She paused, turning around to face the trees. "Why is it that when we find each other something or someone tries to tear us apart?" She asked, staring into the trees.

Bonnie sighed, and approached her friend. "Everything comes at a price, Caroline." She answered, softly. "That's part of life, and in the end, is it not worth it?" She asked, smiling.

Caroline sniffed, and nodded. "It is." She replied, gently. "It's just, I remember the pain that I went through when Tyler took me away from Nik, and I don't want to go through that again." She stated, shaking her head.

Bonnie sighed, and remembered the time Caroline mentioned with same hurt and sadness her friend felt. "Neither do I and neither does Klaus." She remarked, firmly.

Caroline nodded her head, and folded her arms over her chest. She was silent for a while, as she finally turned to face her friend. "Does the gypsy book tell of this?" She asked, searching her friend's face. "Because I don't remember reading it anywhere and I don't remember from my death bed." She added, shaking her head.

Bonnie sighed, and nodded. "It did, but not in the book you read." She replied, after a moment. "Because of your love for Klaus and his for you was so strong, your souls were destined to meet again, to prove that your love could last for a thousand years and on." She explained, firmly. "Trials were set in motion the moment each of you was conceived." She continued, nodding.

Caroline groaned, and threw her head backwards. "This sounds like something from tv." She stated, shaking her head, but a smile appeared on her face.

Bonnie returned the smile, and nodded. "It does sound fanciful, but it's true."

Caroline nodded, and frowned. "Why were the rest of you brought back?" She asked, gently, showing that she was just curious.

Bonnie understood her question, and smiled. "Because you needed help, and because we all have found our soul mates as well, though our love is not as strong as you and Klaus'." She replied, with a sad look in her eyes.

"How come?" Caroline asked, shrugging her shoulders.

"Because we did not request the rebirth." Bonnie answered, softly.

Caroline shook her head. "That's confusing." She stated, stepping back.

Bonnie sighed, and glanced into the woods. "When you and Klaus were on your death beds, you vowed to find him again in another life, and then you died together." She explained, as much as she could. "Though we all loved our spouses, we just did believe that we would find each other again, until it happened, because of your love for Klaus." She added, softly.

Caroline nodded, though her mind was still muddled with mild confusion. She turned to the trees, and began to walk slowly into the woods.

"We should be heading back, Caroline." Bonnie called, as Caroline stilled, and slowly turned around.

Caroline nodded, and moved out of the woods. She walked beside Bonnie as they headed towards the cottage, and as she walked she thought of what Bonnie had told her, and at that moment, everything made perfect sense.

Vaughn inhaled deeply, and slowly opened the door. He sighed as he saw her sitting on the floor with her daughter, and he smiled.

Anna was the first one to lift her head. "Galen!" She shouted, as she stood up, and rushed towards him.

He smiled, and picked her up, kissing her cheek, softly. "How's my little Anna?" He asked, looking at her face.

Anna nodded, and motioned to Jean. "She remembers." She replied, nodding her head.

He sighed, and nodded. "I heard." He replied, setting her down, and gazed into Jean's amber eyes.

Anna smiled and slowly made her way out of the cottage, heading towards Sophie and Davina, who were waiting for her outside.

Vaughn looked at the woman he loved from the past, and in the here and now, and waited.

"Galen," Jean whispered, her voice breaking at his name, and she rolled her eyes at the emotion. "I'm sorry." She choked out, shaking her head.

Vaughn smiled, and quickly moved towards her, grasping her head with his right hand, and crushed his lips on hers. He pulled back, and smiled even wider. "That's all you had to say." He whispered, kissing her lips with passion.

Jean moaned, and melded into his body, remembering the many times she felt like this. "Damn you." She muttered, shaking her head.

Vaughn chuckled, knowing why she said that, and pulled back to kiss her cheeks and nose. "It's so good to have you back, Bonnie Jean." He whispered, as she moaned once again.

"Just shut up, and kiss me." She stated, smiling.

He chuckled again, and leaned forward. "As you wish." He whispered his accent alluring and seductive, sending chills down her body, before his lips connected with hers once again.

Caroline sat her suitcase in the apartment they had just moved to, and she looked around. "Okay, explain to me once again why we moved from a very secluded and peaceful cottage in the woods, to a noisy, yet fancy, apartment?" She asked, turning to look at the man who closed and locked the door behind them.

Klaus smiled, and approached her, slowly. "Because, Swan, Tyler knew the cottage was located in the woods, thanks to Jean." He began, lowering his voice to mild anger at the last part. "And we needed a safer place to hide until he makes a mistake." He added, lifting his right hand to touch her face.

She sighed, and leaned into his hand before stepping away. "He could just as easily find us here." She stated, moving towards the window.

Klaus sighed, and slowly walked towards her. "It's where he'll least expect to find us, Caroline." He replied, placing his hands on her upper arms.

She bowed her head, and allowed her body to lean back into his chest. She didn't say a word as she stared out the window, and Klaus knew something was on her mind.

"Talk to me, Swan." He whispered, wrapping his arms around her, as her head leaned back against his shoulder.

"I'm tired of running and always afraid that I'll lose you." She whispered after a moment.

He closed his eyes at the pain he heard in her voice, and he turned her around, so he could gaze into her eyes. "You're not alone in this, Caroline." He replied, holding her eyes. "I'm scared too." He admitted, and watched as her eyes filled with tears. "I almost lost not once, but twice, and it killed me both times. I don't want to try for a third." He stated, strongly.

Caroline nodded, and touched his face with her right hand. "Neither do I." She whispered, shaking her head.

He sighed, and leaned forward as he kissed her lips, and then held her against him, afraid that he might lose her in an instant.

Elijah laid Katherine gently down on the bed, for she was still not up for walking on her own just yet or at least to Elijah's thoughts.

Katherine groaned, and glared up at him. "I could strangle Tyler." She stated, laying her head back against the pillows.

Elijah chuckled, and shook his head. "I believe you'll have to wait in line, Katerina." He stated, tugging the sheets around his love.

She hummed, and caught his hand when he tried to leave. "Stay with me." She requested, catching his brown eyes with hers.

Elijah smiled, and as carefully he would he laid down beside her. He lifted his left arm, and wrapped it around her, sighing when she snuggled against him.

"Do you think they'll survive?" She asked in the silence.

Elijah sighed, and bent his head to kiss the top of hers. "I believe we all will." He replied, as she began to doze off in the arms of the man she loved so.

"Kol, please put that down." Bonnie remarked, unzipping her suitcase.

"I swear, you have eyes in the back of your head." Kol remarked, finishing up the candy bar in his hand.

She turned around, and shook her head. "What am I going to do with you?" She asked, as he licked his fingers.

He smiled, and glanced toward the bed, while wiggling his eyebrows.

She giggled, and lifted her finger, giving him a stern look. "We are not going to make love, Kol Mikaelson." She stated, wiggling her finger at him.

"And why not?" He asked, approaching her like a predator to a prey.

She moved away from him, and backed up against the far wall. "Because, you have chocolate around your mouth, and I don't want it on me." She stated, as he placed his hands on either side of her.

He smiled, and bent down to her ear. "It wouldn't stay on there for long, gypsy." He whispered, feeling her shiver against him. "Because you know I would lick it off, slowly," He paused, licking her neck. "Until there was not a drop I hadn't gotten off." He added, sucking on her ear.

Bonnie's eyes rolled, and she bit back a moan as she shifted against the wall. He moved his lips up to hers, and slowly, seductively, kissed them.

Bonnie felt her knees weaken at the taste of him and chocolate combined. She felt her body burn, and she wanted more. Threading her fingers up into his hair, she pressed her body close his, rotating her hips, enticing him as he did her.

"Oh God, Bonnie," Kol muttered, as her tongue licked the remaining chocolate from his face.

"You're delicious." She whispered, pulling back to smile at him. "You should wear chocolate more often." She added, lifting her eye brows.

He chuckled, and nodded. "I bet it would taste better on you." He replied, crushing his lips on hers.

Bonnie shivered, as her body rocked against his, and she felt her body being pressed against the wall, and lifted onto his knee.

She separated as he lifted her short summer dress, she had thought to wear for the trip, and dropped it on the floor. He unclasped her bra from the front, and his eyes turned a dark, stormy brown as he gazed at her breasts with such passion and lust. He leaned forward, and licked her breasts, loving the sound of her mewling, and writhing against him.

He felt her hands trying to remove his shirt, and he pulled back long enough for her to lift the shirt off his body, and dropped it to the floor, before grabbing his head, and kissed his lips.

He pushed forward, but with his jeans and her underwear still on, he didn't get far. They just rocked against each other, trying desperately to join as lovers do.

Bonnie's fingers trailed down his chest, and stopped at his jeans. Blindly, she unfastened his jeans, and pushed as far as they would go. Kol lifted her up in his arms, and laid her down on the bed, knocking the suitcase off, before removing his jeans, watching her eyes focus solely on him.

"I love you." He whispered; as he lay down to kiss her lips, fingering her underwear, slowly pushing it down her legs, until she was bare against him.

"I love you." She returned, caressing his face, pulling him down.

He smiled as his lips moved over hers, and his right hand, palmed her breasts, causing her to moan into his mouth. He moved to straddle her, and lay over her, not pushing forward, instead just loving the feeling of being close to her.

Bonnie had other ideas, as her legs wrapped around his waist, and she lifted her hips to his. "Kol," She begged, and he smirked as he complied and pushed forward, causing them both to moan and cry out.

He started thrusting slowly inside her, but the force of the love he felt, caused him to rock faster inside her.

Bonnie moaned, and clutched at his shoulders, wishing she could get closer to him. Kol felt the same way, as his left hand clutched at the sheets underneath them, and his right traced over her left leg. "Oh, Bonnie, my bewitching gypsy." He cried out, rocking even faster.

She smiled, and tightened her hold on him. "My handsome Prince." She whispered, causing him to smile before they both moaned. "Oh, my love, marry me!" She cried, causing them both to still, and Kol's body rocked. Her eyes widened as she realized what she just said. "Kol," She began, but his lips silenced her.

"Do you mean it, my love?" He asked, his body wanted to finish out the pleasure, but his heart was stopping him.

Bonnie swallowed, and held his eyes. "Yes." She answered, her chest heaving from the passion she was experiencing.

Kol smiled, and nodded. "I thought you would never ask, my love." He whispered, kissing her lips before his body took control once again.

Bonnie arched her back, as he whispered, his answer over and over again, until they both cried out yes, held onto each other until their bodies became limp.

Kol wrapped his arms around her, as she dozed off, and he smiled into the darkness. He was going to marry his gypsy once again, and he couldn't be happier.

For now…

Klaus moved towards the door, and opened it. He looked around the hall, and sighed as his eyes traveled down, and he found a note on the ground.

"Who's at the door?" Caroline called out, stepping out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her, and another towel running through her hair as she dried it.

Klaus shook his head, as he opened the letter, and read the contents. "Nobody." He replied, his back stiffening.

Caroline shook her head, and approached him. Leaning on the side, she read the letter, and felt her world turn on end.

Did you think you could hide her from me?

Please be kind!

I'm planning on updating this story everyday this week with a chapter a day. I've mapped out the chapters, and there are only six to seven chapters left to go! They will be significantly longer than this one was, but at least it will be finished. :)

Next Chapter: Klaus goes to a meeting, and ends up surprised. Katherine remembers something important, and so does Damon. Caroline discusses everything with Stefan and Rebekah, before something tragic happens.

Until Next Time...
