Clove's Pov

As Cato throws the punch Brutus turns so that I am the one facing the punch but Cato has great control and stops the punch a cm away from my face. Before Brutus can react Cato's other hand comes up and punches Brutus in the nose, I hear a crack and feel liquid drip in my hair. Brutus lets me go and I immediately duck. Brutus's fist comes up but Cato ducks just in time. Brutus growls in frustration and swings again this time hitting Cato in the stomach before Cato has time to dodge. I scream which only results in distracting Cato long enough for Brutus to swing again, his fist connecting with Cato's jaw. I suppress another scream not wanting to distract Cato as he takes another swing his fist connecting with Brutus's eye. I'm getting ready to join the fight and help Cato when someone grabs me by the hair really hard and throws me on the ground. Glimmer crawls on top of me, then proceeds to throw punch after punch at my face. I successfully block most of them and even get a few of them in myself. I'm about to flip us over when Glimmer is lifted off of me. I look up to see Josh holding Glimmer back as she tries to claw her way back to me. I offer him a quick smile getting up. But then Gloss (glimmer's boyfriend and cashmere's twin) rams into josh's side making him release glimmer. I don't get to see much of their fight as glimmer rams into me sending me flying backwards again, my head hits the floor hard but I bounce back up before Glimmer can reach me. It only takes a few hits before Glimmer's down and stays down. I take this time to look around. Cato and Brutus are still deep in a fight, josh and gloss are going at it but josh seems to be winning. It's then that I notice Annie is fighting Cashmere, they seem about evenly challenged, a very drunk Johanna is schooling Enobaria in a fight, Blight and gale are fighting which surprises me because I always thought Blight was one of our friends. Thresh is fighting with Ricky which doesn't surprise me, that fight was coming anyway. Marvel and Peeta are fighting two football jerks from district one that I vaguely remember are part of the blonde bitches but I don't care enough to remember their names. I see the twins from district 4 (Brady and Beth ) who are both relatively small by the way, trying to take on Jackie who was putting up well fighting the two of them by herself, I noticed though that jack was watching from the side lines making sure she didn't need help. When Brady got a good hit in though jack flew over faster than I've ever seen him move and had Brady on the ground. I continued scanning to find Finnick in a fight with Mitchell and Mitchell was winning. I immediately ran over and tackled Mitchell to the ground getting a few punches in before he flipped me easily since he was twice my size. He raised his fist and was about to bring it down when a hand caught his fist and twisted his arm behind his back, so hard and fast that I heard a pop and I knew his shoulder was dislocated I looked up at Finnick. He threw Mitchell aside and held out a hand for me. I took it and he helped me up. I mumbled a thank you and was about to jump into Annie's fight to help her when Principle Snow walked in.

"All of you my office now!" he stated and walked out

All 24 of us were sitting in the cramped waiting room waiting to hear what punishment Principle Snow had come up with. It took 20 minutes before he came out and greeted us all.

"I have never been so disappointed in any students in my entire teaching career. Now I wish I could suspend you all but there are too many of you, I wish I could ban you all from the games but you are all of the top contenders for the positions in the games so I can't do that either so this is what we are going to do. Since all of you are so keen on fighting we are going to host fights that the whole school can watch, you will be fighting the person you originally started fighting in this little fiasco you have all caused. You will fight till one of you can no longer fight and no I don't mean until you concede I mean until one of you is unconscious. Whoever loses the fights loses their eligibility for the games. These fights will take place 2 months from now, until then you are all welcome to spend as much time in the gym preparing for your fights, weapons will not be permitted in the fights because killing each other is not allowed simply because the law has me in charge and I don't need acts of murders on my record of things I've allowed. Also you all have 2 months of detention ever night after classes, a 12 page essay on why violence is wrong and half of you will be picking up garbage around the school all of next week and the other half of you will mop the floors of the school and all the residential buildings once a day all of next week. Understood?" There were various nods around the room.

"Good then you are dismissed"
