Cordelia wasn't a lesbian. She didn't even consider herself to be bi-sexual, but she'd experimented with other girls. Nothing too serious. A few make out sessions with some groping, but never sex. She'd been looking at Faith more and more these days. She blamed it on Buffy. Her friend going on and on about how great a girlfriend Faith was and she'd only talked about her even more after Buffy had sex with her. Cordelia began taking a closer look at what she'd missed. Faith's stock in the hierarchy at Sunnydale High School raising considerably after she'd gotten together with Buffy. She still chose to hang out with those losers Xander Harris and Willow Rosenberg, but it didn't distract from this vibe of coolness that Faith suddenly gained in Cordelia's eyes. She wanted to get the young woman alone, feel her out, and see where the relationship with Buffy truly stood, but that was difficult to do. At school, Buffy rarely let her girlfriend out of her sight. They were always seemingly together. Cordelia felt it was only a matter of time that Faith would bail after being smoothered, and she could move right in. It wouldn't have been the first time that Cordelia had taken up with one of Buffy's exes. They'd been doing this to one another since they'd become friends during Freshmen year, and there didn't seem to be an end in sight to the rivalry between the two of them.

She was running late to cheerleading practice. Cordelia had forgotten her gym bag in the backseat of her car. A frown graced her features at the flat back tire in the back. "Just great!" She snapped to no one, unaware of Faith pulling into the parking lot a couple of spaces away from her. On her lunch break from work at her parents shop. She promised to watch Buffy practice for a bit. She'd stopped in the drive thru at the Double Meat Palace on the way over, eating her lunch in the car as she drove to the high school. She saw Cordelia, hands on her hips, kick her car's flat tire. Faith couldn't help but laugh to herself. "That's not going to fix it." She spoke up.

"You don't think I know that." She spat out, turning to face whoever was speaking to her. Cordelia immediately softened her expression. The trap had been set, and it wasn't even intentional.

"I could change the tire for you." Faith offered, ignore Cordelia's tone, and trying to be helpful to one of Buffy's friends.

"You'd do that?" She smiled, reaching out to touch Faith's arm.

Faith nodded. "It's no problem. Just pop open the trunk."

"Thanks." She opened the trunk. "I guess working at a car shop, you'd be good at this sort of thing." Cordelia tried to make conversation.

She smiled. "I know a thing or two." She pulled out the spare, but there was no jack to be found or tool to remove the lug nuts. She set the spare against the car. "Let me grab a few things."

"Okay." She replied, watching Faith walk away and return with a few tools. She'd tied her hair back and up. Cordelia didn't think she'd ever seen her look hotter, working on removing the tire with ease. Her arm muscles taught as she worked on changing the flat. "You're good with your hands. Very good." She reached out, gently squeezing Faith's shoulder, feeling her toned shoulder.

Faith paused her actions, momentarily looking up at Cordelia. She wondered if the other girl was flirting with her, but she quickly dismissed the idea. Not thinking that one of Buffy's friends, especially the one her girlfriend seemed to be the closest to would try anything with her. Sure, Cordelia was attractive, but Faith was in a relationship, and she'd never cheat. "Thanks." She awkwardly replied, quickening her pace. Knowing that the more she missed of Buffy's practice, her girlfriend would question her on where she was and what she was doing.

Cordelia continued, enjoying making this young woman who looked so cool visibly blush because of her words. "Buffy's lucky."

"I'm the lucky one." Faith replied.

She smiled to herself. "Oh, yes, a girlfriend like Buffy constantly wanting to be with you. I'm sure that never gets tiring." She sarcastically replied, but her tone was deceptively sweet.

She continued to work, finishing the task at hand without saying another. Aware that something here might be happening on Cordelia's end that she didn't want to participate in. She finished up, standing up to wipe her hands on the pair of old work jeans she was wearing. "You should get this car to a shop, and get a real tire on your car. You don't want to drive on this for too long." She advised the other woman.

Cordelia nodded. "Could I take it to where you work?"

They were more into the restoration game, but would pick up work here or there on other sorts of minor repair jobs. "Sure. Could bring it over after practice. Wouldn't take long to change it for you." She picked up the flat tire and placed it into the trunk, and gave it a good natured pat. "Get rid of this for you as well." She smiled, picking up her tools and headed back over to her car. Cordelia hurriedly followed after her. "What's the address?"

She placed the tools into her trunk and slammed the lid shut. "I've got a card." She unlocked the driver's side door, opened the glove compartment and handed her a business card for the shop. "I'll be there when you come in. Just tell them at the front you brought your car in for me to look at and I'll take care of it for you."

"Thanks, Faith." She smiled, genuinely appreciative. Cordelia was surprised that Faith hadn't taken the bait. It'd been so easy in the past with other people Buffy had dated. Faith not going for it made Cordelia even more interested.

"No problem. Could you tell Buffy I'm sorry. I have to get back to the shop. I spent all of my time fixing your tire." She walked over to the driver's side of her car and climbed in."

"I'll let her know." She stepped back, watching Faith back her car up, and peel out of the parking lot.

When the double doors to the gym opened up, Buffy found herself easily distracted. A smile spreading across her face, at who she assumed would be her girlfriend, but it was only Cordelia, casually walking over to the squad, ignoring the coaches' scolding words for being late. "Did you see Faith?"

Cordelia smiled. "Well, it's nice to see you too, Buffy."

"I guess that's a no. She's suppose to watch me." She replied, casting another glance to the double doors. The coach called out a formation, and the girls moved into position.

"I'm surprised you'd let her watch. All these other girls bouncing around." Cordelia pointed out, playing on Buffy's jealousy. "And, she still didn't show up."

Buffy briefly frowned, thinking about her friend's words. Cordelia was right. Why would she invite Faith to watch a bunch of cheerleaders practice in tank tops and shorts. She was just asking for Faith's eye to wander.

"She changed a flat tire for me. We had quite the nice talk." Cordelia smirked, having a bit of fun with Buffy.

"Chase. Summers. Less talking. Pay attention." The coach barked at them.

The rest of practice went badly for Buffy. She couldn't focus. Turning Cordelia's words over and over in her mind. What had her girlfriend and friend talked about? Why hadn't Faith stopped in, even if she could only say a quick hello? Half way into practice Coach Mathews had told Buffy to sit out the rest of practice. She'd gone to the locker, still in her head, and growing more jealous and paranoid by the moment. She knew how Cordelia could be with anyone Buffy dated, she was the same way with whoever Cordelia was dating. They'd take what the other had just for the fun of it. She didn't want to play this time around, but that had never mattered in the past. Cordelia sauntered into the locker room last. Girls changing and showering, but Cordelia and Buffy hanging around, taking their time, and being the only ones left.

"Can you give me a ride home?" Buffy asked.

"Sure." Cordelia smiled, grabbing her bag and they headed for the door, stepping out into the empty gym.

"Stay away from her." Buffy firmly stated.

"Has that warning stopped either one of us before?" Cordelia laughed, stepping outside with Buffy by her side.

It hadn't. It never worked when they'd warn one another to stay away. It only made them pursue the significant other more aggressively.

"I love her." Buffy softly stated. She didn't want this to be a game.

Cordelia didn't break her stride, walking over to her car, and getting in. She waited for Buffy to do the same. Cordelia knew Buffy believed that she was in love, but she doubted it was true. In her observant opinion, Cordelia felt that her friend was just taken with Faith and fixated on her. Love wasn't in the equation because she didn't know if Buffy was capable of being in love more than she was with being in love with the idea of being in love.

Cordelia sat in the waiting room, flipping through an automative magazine that didn't hold any appeal to her. Faith had made good on her word, putting on a new tire wouldn't be an issue, and she'd even gotten her a discount. It wasn't Faith who'd stepped out int the lobby to return her keys, and walk her out to the car, but a guy by the name of J.D. He was good looking, but she had her eye on Faith, and wouldn't be distracted from her goal. J.D. opened the driver's side door for her. "Could you send Faith out?" She sweetly asked.

"I would but she's busy." He apologetically shrugged. It was a lie. For whatever reason, she wouldn't explain to him, Faith didn't want to come out. He didn't get it. J.D. thought this Cordelia chick was hot if high maintenance, but if he had a shot at her he'd go for it. "Aren't I just as good?" He grinned.

She knew when she was being flirted with an under different circumstances she might've gone for it, but Cordelia had a one track mind, and this J.D. person didn't fit into the equation. Cordelia laugh, briefly touching his arm, pretending that she was charmed by him was easy enough. She knew it'd get her what she truly wanted. "I'm sure your girlfriend thinks so."

"When I get one I'll let you know what she thinks." He chuckled, flattered by her words, unaware of the fact that he was being played.

"Not good enough to get Faith out here though." She moved to slip into her car.

"That's easy. I'll pull her away from her project. Don't go anywhere." He briskly walked away.

Cordelia smirked, leaning against the car. Sometimes it was just too easy.

Faith didn't know what it was that Cordelia had said to J.D., but he wouldn't leave her alone until she went out front and talked to Cordelia. She begrudgingly did so. Dragging her feet along the way, hands slung in the front pocket of her jump suit. She tried to be friendly though. "Did you need anything else?"

"No, just wanted to say thank you again. Nothing wrong with that, right?" She reached out, touching Faith's arm.

She half heartedly smiled. "You're welcome." She moved to hold the driver's side door, wanting to get Cordelia on her way. She hadn't expected the kiss that Cordelia planted on the side of her face. Quickly moving back to avoid her lips lingering there. Cordelia lightly laughed. "I don't bite." She climbed into the car.

"Can't be too sure about that." Faith said to herself, watching Cordelia pull out of the parking lot.

Dawn was sitting in the armchair, watching the television, trying to ignore her older sister's constant talking. She felt sort of bad for Faith, having to listen to Buffy talk all the time.

"What happened?" Buffy asked, staring at Faith sitting next to her.

"Nothing, B. I told you everything that happened. I offered to change her tire, and that's what I did. Told her to come to the shop and I'd put on a new one for her. She came by after practice. I took off the spare, and that's it." Faith tiredly replied. She stated this several times, every time the story stayed the same, but Buffy insisted she tell it again.

She was looking to find fault with Faith's story. There had to be something her girlfriend wasn't tell her. Something that Cordelia had said or done, but Faith's story remained the same. Buffy was growing frustrated.

"You just happened to show up when she had a flat tire?" Buffy disbelievingly asked. Thinking it was possible they were both lying, but she clearly recalled seeing the spare on the car when Cordelia drove her home. It could've been a cover up though. Faith and Cordelia going as far as changing a tire that didn't need to be changed. She knew it was ridiculous, but she didn't care.

"It's called a coincidence." Dawn spoke up, having enough of Faith being questioned. Faith briefly smiled to herself. Dawn was a smart kid. She obviously got it. Why couldn't Buffy?

"I wasn't talking to you." Buffy snapped.

"You don't believe, Faith. Maybe, you'll believe me." She shot back.

That was the problem. Buffy simply didn't believe her. Faith found that to be hurtful. Even though she was keeping that kiss to the side of her face that Cordelia had given her to herself. She didn't want to bring it up, give Buffy a reason to be more possessive, and potentially ruin a friendship over some stupid little kiss. Faith was sure it meant nothing, and she wasn't curious to found out if it meant more. She stood up from the couch, Faith didn't come over there to be interrogated. She just wanted to hangout with her girlfriend, not have to answer the same questions over and over again or be accused of being a liar. "I got to go, B. Dinner soon at casa de Lehane." She explained, trying to be lighthearted for the sake of not fighting.

"You have to go, right now?" Buffy asked, standing up and followed Faith out into the hallway.

"Yeah, but, I'll see you tomorrow." She headed for the front door.

"Well, let me at least give you that present I have for you upstairs." Buffy reached out for Faith's arm to stop her.

"I'll just get it tomorrow at school."

"It's right upstairs. Won't even take a second." She caressed Faith's arm.

"All right." Faith gave in. She was always doing that with Buffy. She followed her upstairs to her bedroom. The moment Buffy shut the door she pounced on Faith, kissing her on the mouth.

"I thought you had a present for me." She pulled out of the kiss.

"I do." She smiled leading Faith over to her bed, and pushed her to sit down. She went for Faith's jeans, quickly undoing them, and pulling out her girlfriend's dick from her underwear. She stroked the shaft, kissing and suck on the head.

"B," Faith shakily whispered, leaning back on her hands.

"Just enjoy it." Buffy softly stated, before slowly moving her mouth down Faith's dick until she reached the base. Nose pressing against Faith's stomach.

She groaned closing her eyes, ignoring the warning bells. She should've taken Buffy to task, but her mouth felt so good wrapped around her dick, and if this was Buffy's way of apologizing who was she to argue with it?
