A/N: HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS! I'm so sorry for not updating. I kinda lost interest and am so busy streaming new animes. (That include the Fate/stay UBW, yes) So I hope this makes up for my absence though I know it isn't enough.
Warnings: This is chapter 9. In case my story interests you, go ahead and read from the very beginning.
Arturia Pendragon hates meetings. Sure, she completely approved of the ones that involve school and clubs but not this. This so-called date.
As she was standing in front of some local chocolate store, she replayed yesterday's events inside her head. She was defeated by Diarmuid, she turned into alter mode and almost killed Gilgamesh.
She sighed. Maybe that's why she agreed to date this conceited bastard; it's because she almost took his life. She was sorry and she's ready to apologize even if it meant slapping her pride. Anything but a date.
Arturia's legs are beginning to feel numb. She checked her wristwatch and it read 6:30 pm.
'That bastard sure is late.' She thought sullenly. Arturia looked ahead and saw that the clouds are giving off a bad vibe; it's going to rain. She tapped her foot and was beginning to lose her patience when, as if on cue with the soft thunder, Gilgamesh appeared before her.
"You do feel lonely when I'm not with you, huh?" He smiled arrogantly.
Arturia only gawked at him. She was speechless. Gilgamesh wore a white leather jacket outlined with fluffy feathers at the top, paired with black pants. He doesn't look gay, though. And as much as Arturia wants to deny it, she just can't. This man is simply irresistible just by his fashion sense.
Gilgamesh raised his right brow and smirked.
"Oh? Like what you're seeing?" He spread his hands for effect, "I look handsome, don't I?"
Arturia remained her composure before scoffing. "Ugh. You're late. And don't misunderstand my reaction; it's just that you look horrible for someone going on a date." She lied through her teeth.
Gilgamesh widened his eyes a little bit before replying. "Ehh. That comes from someone who's so formal." He smirked.
Arturia looked down at her own clothes. She wore a long sleeved polo with a ribbon on the center. And she had a non-pleated palda until just below her knees with black stockings concluding her formal look.
"There's nothing wrong with it." She mumbled.
She looked up and decided not to bother herself with Gilgamesh's comments.
"Whatever," she insisted, "let's get going. I want this to be over as soon as possible."
"Are you in a hurry?"
"If it meant being with you, then yes." Arturia started to walk away towards the heart of the city. But Gilgamesh grabbed her left wrist.
"What now?" She turned, annoyed.
Gilgamesh stepped closer and Arturia refrained herself not to look so intimidated by his towering figure. Then, with a low voice, he said:
"This is a date, Arturia, but my rules. You almost killed me, so you should follow me. Haven't we talked about this yesterday? Hmm?" she could practically smell the stench of his minty breath just above her ears.
Of course, how can she forget? Yesterday, she just took an oath to follow Gilgamesh's every command. Arturia glanced around and saw some people watching them and she starts to feel embarassed. She quickly let go of Gilgamesh's grip.
"Fine." She glowered. Though, more like looked up.
Gilgamesh just stared at her. "And don't you turn all Saber Alter to me. I hate it if that happens."
And for once, Gilgamesh sounded genuine. Arturia just sighed and wondered why he dislikes Alter so much. But they walked together, anyway.

The time went by fast and Arturia was clearly bored. Gilgamesh keeps on insisting to pick a dress and try it on but it's clearly not her thing. Gilgamesh gave up and decided to go to a game station for no particular reason.
But that was when Arturia's spirit lifted up. She's been staring at this weird lion plushie and keeps gawking at it. Gilgamesh decided to play hoops while he observed Arturia's behavior. As soon as he was done, he walked over to her.
"Do you like that ugly thing?" Gil asked.
Arturia widened her eyes and looked away, flushing. "N-no. I just find it..."
She trailed off and Gilgamesh was amused to see this side of her.
"Ok. I'll buy it for you." He casually said. Arturia looked up and ran after Gilgamesh to stop him.
"No! I told you, I d-don't want that." She looked away; embarrassed by her own childish whims.
"But your face says otherwise." He said coldly, "Now let go before making a scene here."
Arturia quickly let go and sat back at the bench, pouting. When Gilgamesh came back, he waved the lion plushie in front of her face.
"Come on. Stop acting like a child. We're going to grab something to eat now." He quickly stuffed the plushie back to its package and threw it softly to Arturia's lap as he starts to walk away.
Arturia just stared at the gift that she just received. She can't believe Gilgamesh just gave it to her just like that. She smiled.
"Maybe he isn't so bad." She thought as she followed him.

The night passed by in a blur. It mostly consists of Gilgamesh being a bipolar and Arturia being a glutton. Before they knew it, they walked together. Arturia was still munching her blueberry muffin when Gilgamesh interrupted.
"Hey, I'll take you home. Where's your house and what street?" Gilgamesh asked boldly.
"Woah. Wait right there. It doesn't mean that I agreed to this date, I also have to point you where my house is." She narrowed her eyes while emphasizing the word date.
Gilgamesh ruffled his golden locks and sighed. "Why is it so hard to be with you? Other girls would literally kill just to be in your position now." He raised his brow, "What's with you?"
Arturia gulped first and wiped the remaining crumbs of her muffin before she spoke.
"That's because I'm different, Gilgamesh. I don't take the bait easily."
And just when he thought Arturia's done, she continued again.
"Yes. You're handsome. But I don't fall for that easily. I have other things to worry about than play with your childish whims." She closed her eyes for effect.
Gilgamesh just frowned. "Ouch. That's harsh. Do you really have to make a speech like that? I just asked for the street where your house is located, y'know."
Arturia scoffed and smiled a little at this and then she suddenly stopped.
"Here's fine."
Gilgamesh stopped. "What?"
"I said it's okay to just drop me off here." She deadpanned.
Gilgamesh was about to protest how dark the street now that night is beginning to close in. But then he remembered his Alter mode and chose not to tell her anyway.
"Are you sure? Then I guess this is goodbye Arturia." He starts walking away but Arturia called out for his name.
"Gilgamesh."
He turned around.
"Thanks for everything tonight. Although I hate to admit it, I enjoyed your company." She said with a smile.
Gilgamesh's eyes widened in shock. Was that…?
"Is the infamous Arturia blushing?" He found the fact amusing that he can't help but smirk.
"—and for this Lion plushie."
He didn't realize that she's still talking so he just waved her off.
"Yeah, yeah. Just don't try to kill me again."
With this, Arturia smiled again and Gilgamesh can't stop the mischievous smirk that's only growing from his face as he turned around.
That little shade on Arturia's cheeks, the genuine smile…
He's jumping to conclusions but can't help to think the only thing that's been running through his mind. He grinned.
"Oh? Is Arturia finally falling for me?"
A/N: This is more like a filler chapter. haha
