I'm back! Anyone at the edge of their seats yet?
"I need to warn Elsa. I need to let her know what's going on out here!" Anna restlessly yanked on her arms in hopes of undoing the binds on her wrists. It was only her hundredth attempt at freeing herself and so far, nothing. Nothing but red bruises on her wrists.
"Anna, relax before you hurt yourself. Elsa is smart, she'll find out what's going on. She has to have noticed by now that you ran away right?" Kristoff would give anything to reach over and hold Anna to relax her, but the tight rope wrapped around his wrists prevented him from doing so.
"Of course she has by now! But what if she decides to just let me die in the cold? I mean, she could let that happen! What if she decides to not care? What if she decides I've been too much of a pain to care? What if-"
"What if she is going crazy thinking about how much danger you could be in right now by yourself in the mountains? Elsa would never not care Anna, you and I both know that. She's your sister. I'm sure she's worried about you." He cut her off and corrected each doubt she had.
"She's probably angry with me." Anna added in after a long pause. Kristoff couldn't stop himself from shaking his head and sighing. It had been a long night with no sleep or food. Along with the fact that Sven was still nowhere to be seen, no doubt he was still sleeping in the cave. That reindeer could sleep for days at the time without waking up.
"Kristoff?" Anna's voice broke into his thoughts before he could think anymore about his buddy. As a response, he turned and looked at her.
"Would you be angry with me?" Anna asked with the most worried and depressed expression he had ever seen.
"I could never be angry with you Anna. Worried and scared to death, yes. Maybe driven crazy, but no. I could never be angry with you." he said with that adorable crooked smile of his.
"I love you." Was all Anna could say to that smile.
"I love you too. We'll get out of this, don't worry." He leaned over and rested his forehead against Anna's. It was the first warmth either of them had felt in days.
