Christian's POV

'What?' I asked again astounded as I felt blood draining from my face.

'You heard me Grey…' She replied smugly as I felt turmoil and anger replace any fear I was having.

'Theodore… Out…' I ordered sternly as I locked eye contact with Elena.

'I'm not going anywhere dad…' He replied.

'Theodore, I'm not going to repeat myself…'

'You can fucking repeat all you want dad… You have a child with another woman that ruined my sister?'

'Theodore… I'm not...'

'I'm 22 dad… you have no say…'

'Theodore I said OUT…' I ordered again.

'Fine… but this isn't over…' He replied as he stormed off.

'Wow… you have a say with your kids there Grey…' Elena mocked.

'Shut up and explain…'

'I think you have never quite paid attention in sex Ed class have you? Let me tell you how this happened Grey…' She started as she moved to the cabinet and poured some scotch in a glass. 'When two people get excited, and I mean sexually, they end up in a bed where they copulate…'

'I know what happens…' I replied losing my patience. 'I don't believe you…'

'You can do a DNA test if you want…'

'Christian…' The prick started as he moved forward to mockingly shake my hand. I acted reckless and in a split second my fist hit his face.

'You bastard! You ruined my daughter… You fucking impregnated my daughter…'

'Christian stop it… stop it!' Elena tried getting me off him.

'CHRISTIAN!' Taylor entered the room and took me of off him. 'Christian this is not going to solve anything.'

'Taylor get your hands off me… I want to kill this prick…'

'Jared, honey, are you ok?' Elena asked him.

'I'll sue you…'

'Yeah… try that… I have proof to send you to jail for life… You corrupted my under-aged daughter… and nobody touches my family without paying.'

'Is that a threat Christian?' Elena asked as she came forward to face me.

'If I were you I would sleep with an open eye from now on…' I replied before I stormed out.

'This is not over Christian…'

'Hell no it's not… Make that two eyes Lincoln…'

Theodore's POV

'Mum…' I tried comforting her from the news.

'Theodore please shut the hell up… I just discovered your father has a son that…' She stopped. 'Look at your sister… that's what's left of her… She's… my baby…' She cried as she looked at her from the glass while Dr. Flynn was assessing her mental stability. 'Theodore, call Gail… Tell her to pack us some stuff… We're not staying home tonight… not until your father comes up with a plausible explanation for… all of this.'

'Mum… I know it's hard but you can't leave him!'

'Oh you know Theodore? Does your wife has a son that you never knew about? Oh… wait… you're not even married yet…' She replied. 'Look, I'm sorry…'

'Mum, he didn't know he had a son… not until we were there…'

'What? Why the hell haven't you said so?'

'…because you bloody didn't give me a minute to!' I replied as Dr. Flynn came out of the room.

'Mrs. Grey… do you have a minute please?'

Anastasia's POV

'Um… yes…' I quickly replied as I dried my tears. 'Teddy, honey, don't leave her side in any second… ok?'

'Yes mum…' He replied as he went straight to her bedside holding her hand gently.

'You know she's a strong girl… She never blinks… just like her father…' I started as we made our way to his office.

'I see that…' He replied as he opened his office and we made ourselves comfortable. '…but it also makes me wonder how you all act in the family…'

'What do you mean?'

'Samantha seems independent, and although she broke down on you and told you everything, she hasn't quite came to terms with everything… there are many things going on that right now she's not able to pinpoint one thing at a time…'

'So what do you suggest?'

'Well, for starters, I'd like her to see me for two sessions per week, and I would like to start her on some medication that will keep her anxiety levels at bay… This has clearly been a very stressful situation on all of you, and I would also like to see you, Christian and Theodore as the three of you…'

'I don't understand… It's Samantha that's been…'

'You're close with each other… whatever happens affects you deeply Anastasia. Dealing with it as a family will make it easier for her to adjust to everything. Now that you know everything, she feels in less of control and she fears that in your eyes she's weak…'

'…but she's not…'

'I know she isn't… you all know she isn't… but she blames herself for all of this… and acting differently around her will only make her feel worse.'

'Christian already went to find justice…'

'You should leave everything to the cops… this is not your fight… it is hers, and the faster you realise that, the faster she can get back on her feet.'

'Jared is Christian's son Flynn.' I spat out.

'What?' He asked. 'I don't understand…'

'He's Elena's son… Elena and Christian… well you know the story doc… apparently she had a kid from Christian…' I replied as the desk phone rang.

'Dr. Flynn's office… Yes… yes… let him in…' He replied. 'Christian's here…' He replied as the door opened. He looked tired but the anger in his eyes was unmistakable. I could only try to understand him, although I was angry with him for having… him…

I kept thinking of what will happen next, on what we were going to do. But I wasn't sure as yet. For now, I was hoping to get my baby back. Samantha was everything to me, and after Grace… Things made more sense on how special family is.

'Ana?' Dr. Flynn took me out of my thoughts whilst Christian's hand squeezed my knee.

'Yeah…' I replied.

'As I was saying to you, Samantha is in a very difficult place right now. Now I know you two are angry, hurt… and are feeling grief… but you need to be strong for her. It's imperative that she understands that you will be there no matter what.'

'We already do that…' Christian replied.

'…but now more than ever Christian.' He replied. 'Most importantly, and this is directed to you Christian, you should not act as the cop, you should not bring justice. Let the law do that… your job is to be a father and to help her built herself to become strong again.'

'How can I not bring justice? She's… I don't recognise her anymore…' He replied his voice cracking.

'She's still in there… she's only supressed… her emotions caught up to her, and well… this was a break down…'

'So what do you suggest?' Christian replied as we both squeezed each other's hand.

'Well, for starters, as I told Ana, I want to start her on some medication. Diazepam and Atarax. They will help keeping anxiety at bay…'

'I don't want my daughter to get hooked on meds like these…'

'We'll start the dosage slowly and increase and decrease them slowly till she won't need them anymore.' He replied as he signed the SOAP note. 'I understand your fears, but right now it's more dangerous if she doesn't take them. She may have another break down, and things will get worse. She needs to put all her energy in focusing on everything that she needs to sort out and I'll be helping her in that.'

'What about school?' I asked. 'Can she go?'

'I'd like her to take two weeks off for now. It's safer and she'll feel safer at home. But make sure to not let her drown in her sorrows and lock herself in her room. Things may get ugly there.'

'What do you mean by ugly?' Christian asked.

'I'm sure you realise what may happen when someone is miserable and depressed…'

'Oh God… you think?'

'I'm not implying anything Anastasia… I just want to be cautious. Samantha's young… but she's also very mature for her age. She stands up for herself with you Christian, and you don't intimidate her, and she's clinically depressed. She shows clear signs of classical conditioning and I don't want the picture to turn uglier than it already is. It will only break her and you more…'

'So what do you suggest?'

'Make sure to be home at all times, at least one of you. She can't be alone… remove anything from the house that may make her hurt herself, remove any sleeping pills, and any narcotics…'

'What about the drugs?'

'Her system is filled with it…not enough to be an overdose, but it's already a lot, and I'm afraid of the repercussions she may be facing. I've already talked to your mother, we're going to make sure to make her comfortable. She'll be experiencing withdrawal symptoms and they will be painful as hell...'

'How did we not notice about these things? We're her parents… we're close…' Christian reasoned.

'You're close true Christian, but because of that she may also have learned how to hide things, and you simply were too trusty in her to realise it. Instead of focusing on who's fault this is, try to at least invest in seeing how you're going to help her… and most importantly don't cry or get angry in front of her. It will only make her drift further away…'

'Ok…' I replied. 'Christian?' I asked.

'It's a long journey isn't it?'

'Yes… but I'm positive that things will turn for the better.'

'Yeah…'

'Now… I would like to get this straight, you need to be open with me and say everything. Don't hold anything back, no matter how tough the truth is.' Dr. Flynn explained clearly.

'I'm sensing that this is directed to me, isn't it?' Christian replied.

'Christian… don't you think we should talk about it privately first?' I asked him gently.

'We'd better get it out in the open…' He replied. 'I have a son…' He spat out. 'It's Elena's… mine and Elena's…'

'Are you sure?'

'The history makes sense… but I'll be doing a DNA test…'

'Ok…' Dr. Flynn nodded. 'Anastasia, how does that make you feel?'

'It still hasn't hit home as yet… I… just can't understand…' I replied.

'What do you mean?'

'How does a person goes on for years not knowing he has a kid… and most importantly… How come… how did he have to do it to Samantha? She's such a sweet girl…'

'Unfortunately what other people do is not in our control…'

'This is…' Christian replied. 'I will kill the bastard.'

'Christian, these feelings of rage will only increase if you don't accept the fact that this wasn't your fault…'

'How the hell is it not? She begged me to come home… and I left her there for the thought on keeping her safe… only she wasn't even safe there…'

'You've tried to choose the best out of two hard things.'

'…and I chose the wrong one… I should have been a better father…'

'You can be now if that's what you're worried about. Samantha needs you as parents and guidance… she needs to trust in you and she needs to be sure that what she tells you is going to aggravate you or make you angry… unless of course, you want her to sink deeper…'

'No! How can you say that?' Christian jumped. 'I want my daughter back, and if what it takes is to leave everything and fight for my daughter then I'll do it…'

'I'm glad we're on the same page…' Dr. Flynn replied as he wrote something in his file and closed it off. 'I'd like you to come tomorrow with Theodore to discuss things with the three of you on how you're going to handle things amongst you… Are you free at around 5pm?'

'Yes…' We both replied in unison.

'Good. Then I'll see you tomorrow…' He replied as we stood up and shook hands. 'I'll be dropping a visit to Samantha tonight and I'll be talking to her tomorrow, when she's in a better shape…'

'Thank you Dr. Flynn…'

'Anytime…' We replied as we exited the office.

'Who's with Sam?' Christian asked.

'Christian we need to talk…' I replied.

'I know… but right now I need to be with my kid… Can you wait a little longer?'

'Yes…' I replied. 'Theodore offered to stay with her tonight… I think it's best… we need to discuss a lot of things…'

'We will… but I want to assure you that I've never cheated on you…'

'I know… Theodore told me…' I replied as we arrived at our daughter's room.

'She looks… so weak…'

'She is Christian… she is…'

'God…I've never wanted to hear her vibrant shenanigans as much as I want to hear them today…' He replied.

'We will… we have to help get back to her old self first.'

'Yeah…' He replied as he put a brave face before we entered her room.
