Chapter 9 – Things Heat Up

March 21st, 2014, Castle of Stella, Carpathian Mountains, Romania…

The Manji Clan returned to Stella's castle with several goods which included food and clothing. They carried enough milk to nurture all of the surviving babies in which Stella kidnapped from the Spetnaz. As the Manji tended to the babies needs, Yoshimitsu the 17th awaited patiently at the upper level of the demolished castle. This used to be Stella's old quarters. The clouds remained thick and foggy throughout the area, making the day appear rather dismal. Yoshimitsu sat there within the hazy fog meditating. He did not know when Stella would return, but whatever it was it must have been important. Finally, the familiar powerful aura could be felt. Then a hot yellow portal opens near the edge of the broken upper floor with the countess coming out of it. Stella was holding a bag in her right hand as she flings it across the floor to where Yoshimitsu was sitting in meditation. A head appears out of the bag as it dripped blood from the neck.

Yoshimitsu: "You have returned."

Stella: "Yes I did, but not until I cut some loose ends first."

Yoshimitsu (looks at the head.): "Who is that?"

Stella: "One of Russia's leaders, the prime minister. The one responsible for taking me out of my castle. Now let's see it the Spetnaz will have anything to say about this!"

Yoshimitsu: "Are you sure about this? You just pitted war against an entire nation."

Stella: "Don't worry, with your soldiers I will make them into one of the strongest warriors in existence."

Yoshimitsu (smiles under the mask): "Yes."

Stella: "We must create a magical barrier so no invaders will step near this place. This will take some time, so I could use the assistance."

Yoshimitsu: "With pleasure countess."

Stella was aware that her killing of the prime minister and others involved in their trespassing of her castle would cause an uproar throughout the country of Russia. In order to prevent an invasion, Stella concentrated her powers to design a magical barrier around her castle. With the Manji's assistance, Stella created some crystals in order to spread them out and increase the sphere of the barrier. In this way, no intruder would dare come near this place unless they wanted to die. Once this task was finished, Stella ordered the Manji to kidnap more children while she begins gaining nourishment from the captured children from the Kirill Base.

Back in USA, Santana Row & Westfield Valley Fair, San Jose, California…

With the newest android body fully mobilized, Alisa couldn't wait to try out some new outfits as she and Lars visited a super regional mall in the city of San Jose. Alisa felt like a celebrity with Lars and his fellow soldiers carrying dozens of bags of different store brands of clothes. Lars wondered if Alisa was ever gonna stop browsing and picking clothes. The money was starting to shrink under his wallet. They never even got a chance to eat yet.

Lars: "Alisa. I think this is more than enough. Our guys don't even have enough arms to carry all of this stuff."

Alisa (disappointed): "Oh. I wanted to go to every store."

Lars: "Me and the guys are getting hungry. Let's put these clothes in the cars and find a restaurant."

Alisa: "Fine."

Once Alisa's clothes were secure inside the cars, Lars and his troops drove across the street to Santana Row, another upscale shopping center which had more exquisite restaurants. Since Lars had a craving for soba, the Paladins dined at a Japanese Bar. All of the soldiers sat along the lower level of the restaurant, while Lars and Alisa eat together at the upper deck second level. Alisa was of course elated throughout the day, getting her new body, and trying out all sorts of clothing. Lars gazed out into the sunset, wondering about the well of Raven and the ladies who accompanied. Alisa then interrupted him once the food was served.

Alisa: "Lars, dinner's here. You haven't said anything since we ordered. Your brain patterns are going all over the place, but you're so quiet."

Lars: "Huh. Oh, yea I'm just thinking."

Alisa: "About what?"

Lars: "I was wondering how the baby was doing, Raven, Kunimitsu, and the fortune teller."

Alisa: "Oh yes, I'm sure they're ok."

Lars: "I haven't heard anything from them so I guess I shouldn't worry." (Eats the soba.) "Tasty."

Alisa (only drinking water.): "That's a good thing right?"

Lars: "Well, yea, or it means something is wrong. But I trust Raven to contact me if something does happen."

Alisa: "Lars, thank you for giving me another body and some new clothes."

Lars: "No problem Alisa. It's the least I could do for all that we've been through together."

Alisa: "I'm just so happy today!" (tears up.)

Lars: "That's great, once we stop that vampire from doing whatever, we can have more dinners and adventures together what do you think?"

Alisa: "What do I think? I think that's awesome!"

Lars couldn't help but laugh at Alisa's perky reactions from his promises. As long as the forces of evil were lurking around, in the back of Lars's mind, he felt that Alisa's well being would always be in danger. He vowed to make sure Alisa remained in good condition throughout her life.

Later into the night, Emory Children's Center, Druid Hills, GA…

Karasu's condition was slowly improving thanks to the serum Dr. Al-Sanussi developed to fight off the venom which deteriorated the baby's red blood cells. The baby was still being closely monitored by the doctor's nurses who kept him fed and cleaned. Visitation only lasted 15 minutes per day, because of the likelihood of infections the baby could receive from an unclean person. If things were progressing, Karasu could soon be out of the hospital to reunite with his parents.

Outside the children's hospital…

Kunimitsu was upset that she could not stay with her son while he slept under the breathing machine. For what has been stated earlier to improve the baby's health, she and Raven had to leave the room. In disgust, she dragged herself in her wheelchair and out of the lobby called for another cab to take her back to the hotel. Raven felt it was best to leave her be for the time being. So many things clouded his mind, that even he wanted some space. He ventured out of the campus of Emory University and found himself in the midtown area of Atlanta. Something about the lights, shining out of the various skyscrapers, sort of calmed Raven's mind as he stood above the BB&T building. He could also be nosy and watch various bystanders as they ventured from street to street. That was not necessary tonight though. Suddenly Raven's wristcom buzzed. It was his commanding officer.

Raven: "This is Raven."

CO: "Raven. We never heard back from you since the mission in Siberia ended. How are you holding out?"

Raven: "I'm doing ok, physically. I found out something that I feel I need to share with you."

CO: "What's the matter?"

Raven: "It's me and Kunimitsu. We…have a son."

CO: "Kunimitsu? The kunoichi you partnered with back in Japan?"

Raven: "Yea."

CO: "Wow, Raven…did you just learn about that?"

Raven: "Yes. While on the investigation. His name is Karasu. He was one of the children kidnapped by the Manji Clan for Stella's sacrifice."

CO: "Stella is the name of the vampire legend correct?"

Raven: "Copy that."

CO: "I needed to hear from you sooner about that Raven, because many news outlets have reported a vampire like woman invading the Russian parliament killing the prime minister and many others inside. So this concludes that Stella had been revived. Did you at least find out who set her loose?"

Raven: "I know who it is. Yoshimitsu the 17th. I fought against him but that's when I found Kunimitsu and our son. He was going to kill them had I not set one of his cronies free."

CO (disappointed): "Damn! What a mess!" (After a pause.) "The Spetnaz have gone nuts since the surprise raid. Now a hefty bounty is being place on this Stella for over 700 million US dollars for anyone to turn her in. Russia is threatening to send nukes at random countries all over the planet until Stella is apprehended. So explain to me why are you in the states?"

Raven: "Because after I saved Kunimitsu and the baby, we both discovered that the child was ill. Thanks to another friend, we contacted a doctor here in Atlanta who could save him from death. That's it. When the baby recovers then I will resume my investigation."

CO: "How long do you think your son will recover?"

Raven: "He's getting better by the day. I'm hoping they release him before the end of the week."

CO: "Raven if any more innocence gets killed over this new threat, our agency will be forced to answer to the United Nations for a lack of intelligence and response. We may even have to terminate your contract with us if we're under the hot seat. I'm just letting you know."

Raven (not pleased): "I will deal with Stella and the Manji Clan by any means necessary. This is personal now. You understand?"

CO: "I do. Contact me once you begin resuming the hunt for that vampire."

Raven: "Understood." (Hangs Up.) "Shit!"

As if things couldn't get any worse. Raven's job as a spy could be in jeopardy for being awol after the Siberian raid and if even more people die by Stella and the Manji Clan. The last thing he wanted to deal with was getting questioned by the boss for his uncharacteristic actions. Things would have been going smoothly had he not bumped into Kunimitsu. Her untimely appearances always seemed to cause unfortunate circumstances forcing Raven to save her rather than complete his objective. At the same time, he shouldn't blame his troubles on her. Raven's biggest regret was impregnating her after he really wanted to please Kunimitsu for her loyalty and perseverance during the last King of Iron Fist Tournament. That mistake was all on him and he knew it. Raven sat down just on the edge of the block over the roof of the BB&T Building, feeling hopeless. Then a voice called from behind.

Zafina: "Raven!"

Raven turns around to see that fortune teller again. He suspected that Zafina tracked him down because she got worried for him. Raven stands up and meets Zafina above the rooftop.

Zafina: "I didn't know where you had run off to so I traced you down. Why are you here of all places?"

Raven: "So I could have a peace of mind. Yet, even out here I get disturbed."

Zafina: "Forgive me for intruding."

Raven: "No. It's not you. My boss contacted me just now. Stella has killed several politicians in Russia, now the country is threatening to nuke random places across the planet until she is captured or dead. If I don't hurry up and do something, my job may be in jeopardy."

Zafina: "Your agency cannot blame you for the release of that vampire. It was all out of your control and not meant to be."

Raven: "Maybe."

Zafina (walks closer and meets him eye to eye.): "No maybe. That is the truth. Fate responded by allowing us to escape with our lives, even though Stella is free from her bondage. We can make a change if we believe in each other and trust our hearts."

Raven (hypnotized by Zafina's deep brown eyes): "What else have you've seen?"

Zafina (seductive): "That I will ease your emotional pain and you will not resist me."

Zafina playfully smooches around his face until their lips connected. She was correct. Raven felt so out of whack, it seemed nobody else wanted to share his frustrations about the things that have happened except for Zafina. She always had a way of easing tensions and giving solid advice. Zafina once again offered her love and body to him, so that he could relieve that tension inside of him. They found themselves laying on the dirty rooftop. Yet a nagging thought occurred in Raven's head. He did this act to Kunimitsu 2 years ago, and she got a baby out of it. Zafina could sense it and predictably asked him.

Zafina: "Is something troubling you ninja?"

Raven: "The last time I did this it tormented someone we both know,"

Zafina (smirked): "Don't you remember? Thanks to this." (Shows off her navel chain just below the belly button.) "I cannot bear children, so you can release anywhere you like."

With that comment, Raven felt much at ease. Their passion made them forget they were now stripped naked laying on a skyscraper rooftop. How Raven had missed the flexible, grappling ovaries Zafina acquired. Likewise, Zafina wanted to share her lust for Raven again for she missed the thrust of the ninja's oblong. Zafina maneuvered her body around Raven like a snake would its meal as she performed various positions. To gain dominance, Raven grabbed Zafina by her waist and started humping in rapid pace standing up. Zafina was about to lose her mind in pleasure, but she was determined to be the aggressor. Zafina playfully use her left hand to massage Raven's nuts as he continued to thrust. She could feel the fluid about to burst out of him.

Raven: "Fuck! Aaaaaaaggggggg!"

Notes: What a busy summer, and busy still. Made some slight changes in this one. Just how will Zafina handle Kunimitsu while Raven is knocked out? Karasu's health is steadily improving through the treatment. And who will be Stella's next prime victim? Keep it locked here folks.
