Contest Arena

"Hello everyone and welcome to the next match of the second round! To my left is Celestic Town's Lila!"

The audience then roared with applause after hearing Lila's name. Lila decided to take in the applause by waving to them with a smile on her face. "Thank you. Thank you."

But despite the applause, The Black Greninja had his arms crossed and waited for the match to begin.

"To my right is Blackthorn City's Black Greninja!" In response to this announcement, the audience was just as silent as the man in the suit.

After a few minutes of silence, Marian decided to break the silence by spinning the wheel in a counter-clockwise motion. "This match will be a Double Battle. Let the match begin!"

Lila decided to start the match by pulling out two pokeballs from her pocket. "Cherrim, Delcatty. Let's go." She then threw her pokeballs into the air, releasing her Pokémon.

The Black Greninja reached into his suit and pulled out two Luxury Balls. "Gallade and Gardevoir, it's time to begin." He then pressed the two buttons on the Pokeballs and released the two Pokémon onto the field.

After their Pokémon were released, the wheel was replaced with a 5 minute timer and the match began.

"Cherrim, use Sunny Day. Delcatty, use Sing!" Cherrim complied with its trainer's request and created a large Sun behind the cherry Pokémon, transforming it into the flower form. Delcatty then began to sing, mixing in with the solar rays and creating a beautiful array of lights in the sky. The crowd was amazed at the array and began to applaud, but before they could finish… "Moonblast."

Gardevoir launched her Moonblast attack at Lila's attack and shattered it into hundreds of pieces. "Gallade, use Psycho Cut!"

Gallade nodded his head and created large crescent shaped blades in the sky, mixing in with the debris and creating a large moon in the sky with the Psycho Cut attacks transforming into small shooting stars.

As Lila looked on in shock, she took a huge hit in points. "Delcatty, use Iron Tail on Gallade. Cherrim, use Magical Leaf on Gardevoir!"

As both Pokémon complied with its trainer's request, The Black Greninja looked on in silence. That Delcatty must have Cute Charm. It looks like Gardevoir will have to "switch" for its ally.

As Delcatty charged towards the Gallade, Cherrim fired its leaves at Gardevoir.

When both of Lila's Pokemon got close to hitting their opponents, Gallade and Gardevoir swapped positions, surprising Lila. "Gardevoir, use Protect. Gallade, use Poison Jab on the leaves." Both Pokémon complied with their trainer's command as Gardevoir shielded herself from Delcatty's attack, and Gallade managed to avoid taking damage by destroying the leaves with his attack.

As Lila's point total decreased once again, she tried to think of a strategy. So even if I use my Pokemon's abilities it still doesn't work? There has to be a way to beat this guy… "Delcatty, use Shock Wave on Gardevoir. Cherrim, use Solar Beam!"

Delcatty proceeded to use its tail to charge up electricity while Cherrim fired the Solarbeam attack at Gardevoir and Gallade. "Take that!"

A few seconds later, Delcatty fired her attack and combined it with Solarbeam, creating a beautiful combination of Electric and Grass attacks.

In the dust left by the attack, Lila began to smile. "There's no way your Pokemon could survive that combination. Face the power of the Tiger Lily!"

But as the dust cleared, The Black Greninja was left unfazed as Lila's smile turned into a frown. Gallade ended up using Protect on not only himself, but also his partner. "Is that all you got Tiger Lily?"

After a few seconds of silence, The Black Greninja noticed something was off… "Where is your Delcatty?"

As The Black Greninja observed the arena, he had no luck in finding the sly cat, until…

"Iron Tail!"

Delcatty then burst out of the ground and fired his attack at Gallade, shocking The Black Greninja.

"Never underestimate me."

As Delcatty got closer and closer to Gallade, his tail became more and more cloaked in metal. When the attack hit Gallade however…

"Psychic."

Delcatty was then stopped in his tracks by Gardevoir's attack and could not land the attack. Lila looked on in anger. I thought it could work. Fine then, I will have to sacrifice him then. "Cherrim, use Solarbeam!"

Cherrim nodded its head and began to fire the attack at the three Pokemon, creating a huge explosion.

But as Lila waited for the dust to clear, she saw her Delcatty get thrown out of the dust cloud and collide with her Cherrim. As both Pokemon hit the wall, the dust cloud cleared and it was revealed that Gardevoir put up another Protect to shield them from the Solarbeam.

"TIME!"

After hearing Marian's words, the two Coordinators looked at the TV screen.

"This was a clean sweep; the winner is The Black Greninja!"

As the audience looks on with confused looks on their faces, the two Coordinator's return their Pokémon to their pokeballs.

After Lila returned her Pokemon, she let out a sigh before going over to her opponent. "Congratulations on winning your match sir, good luck in the future."

But The Black Greninja proceeded to cross his arms in response. "That was pathetic Lila. At least Zoey and Nando gave me a somewhat challenge in their matches. But you're no challenge for me. Take care." The Black Greninja then proceeded to walk back to the Waiting Room as Lila left the arena.

Waiting Room

After the match concluded, Dawn was shocked. "How did that happen? She got curb stomped by this man!"

Nando let out a sigh before responding. "Like I said before Dawn, this man is ruthless and will crush you without mercy."

Zoey nodded her head. "Nando is right Dawn, he will crush you if you're not careful."

Dawn let out a sigh after hearing her two friends. "I will be careful guys. No need to worry."

But before their conversation could continue, the TV screen displayed the match between Suzy and Solidad…
