Chapter 11 – Assistance

April 18th, 2014, Victory Avenue, Bucharest, Romania…

Plans were set in motion to take over the capital city of Romania, Bucharest. Because of the massacres created by the Manji Clan and Stella's newly forged minions made by dead bodies, many cities nearby the castle were left as ghost towns. The United Nations answered the call from Romania's government to find the source of this terror. However, thanks to Stella's magic, the UN forces were not able to find these culprits. Most of them were ambushed by the Manji Clan combined with Stella's magic spells.

On this day, the invasion of the capital city took place. Thousands of people took precaution and fled the area, while those who did not heed the warnings from the government were soon slaughtered by the merciless armies of Stella. Yoshimitsu the 17th and Stella both rode their horses into Victory Avenue as they surveyed all of what's left of the city.

Yoshimitsu: "Our boys did good work, don't you agree?"

Stella: "Just wonderful! All of my children's enemies have now received my revenge! This is retribution for their judgment upon me all those years ago!"

Yoshimitsu: "That's not all we've done for you countess. My men have even taken all children in this city who have B negative blood. They shall be apprehended at the Stadium not far from this street."

Stella (grinning): "Splendid Yoshimitsu! My power will grow stronger with each child I consume!"

Yoshimitsu: "Let us make haste to the stadium Stella!"

As the dangerous duo rode off the large street, Zukumimefu stood above one of the commercial buildings out looking Victory Avenue. She was growing more jealous at Yoshimitsu for being pussy whipped by this ancient mummy of a woman. Zuku knew at this point, Stella was too strong to kill by herself. The Manji and the corpse army were so grossly heavy in numbers that it would be impossible for her to cut off the supply of children that Stella fed off from. Finally, Zuku's plan to re-kidnap Kunimitsu's son was already set in motion. Because of her love and affiliation with Yoshimitsu, Zuku continued to remain loyal and rushed toward the stadium.

April 19th, 2014, Kuchinoerabu-jima Island,Ryukyu Islands, Japan…

Nearly a month had passed since the Paladin forces, Raven, and Kunimitsu departed the United States. It was all for saving the life of little Karasu who quickly became a favorite amongst the Paladin crew. However, the threat of Stella and the Manji Clan still remains. Lars felt that everybody needed the proper training in order to deal with whatever would come their way once they initiated their campaign into Romania. Lars overheard the crisis within that country. It was disturbing to see the United Nations struggle in their attempts to apprehend the Manji Clan. He hoped Raven and Kunimitsu could set their differences aside and work together in order for creating a charm to break the Manji's spells. This would be the only way they could find the castle in which Stella made her home. For extra measure, Lars also sent Alisa on a special mission to find Jin Kazama in his home island nearby, Yakushima. Perhaps Alisa could convince Jin or his mother to help out in making extra magical charms to fight off their enemies. Somehow it needed to be done.

Yakushima Island, home of Jun Kazama…

After the Mishima Estate Raid almost 2 years prior, the Kazamas were able to reconcile as a family and return to their old home in Yakushima. They continued to live in seclusion, only interacting with outside people on special occasions. Alisa would be luck for she would detect both life forms of Jun and Jin present at the family house within the forests of Yakushima Island from her GPS. It was easy to spot Jin. He happened to be fishing at the family lake filled with freshwater fish. He wore only some swim trunks and a wife beater. He seemed rather bored, until he heard a loud noise coming from above his head. Alisa eloquently lands on the pier just 10 feet behind Jin's back. Sitting down, he turns around to see Alisa. She was one the last things Jin wanted to see come back. To hide his feelings, Jin turns around casually and continues fishing with his pole.

Alisa: "Hi Jin! I…hope you're not still angry about last time, you know. When you were the Zaibatsu CEO trying to kill yourself and the Mishima bloodline while resurrecting that awful creature Azazel. You used me too and programmed me to kill Lars who I respect very much. He's the reason I'm here. And…"

Jin (annoyed): "Enough! What are you doing here?"

Alisa: "I was getting to that! Anyway, Lars and his friends need your assistance Jin. You're good with your special chi to break spells right. We need some charms to break the spells the Manji Clan set up to trap and kill their opponents. So can you help please?"

Jin (Surprised, looking back at Alisa): "The Manji Clan? Are you serious?"

Alisa: "Dead serious. This is the fate of world Jin, don't you care?"

Jin: "I refuse."

Alisa (Sad.): "What? Ooo, How come?" : (

Jin: "First off, I'm done beating people up. I only use my skills for self defense only now. I could care less about the world's problems. Most people still hate me for the crimes that I have committed. If it wasn't for my mother, I would be in jail at this point in time. Second, the Devil Gene in my body has been removed thanks to my second battle against Ogre back at the void. My ability to make charms will not be as effective without the aid of the Devil Gene. Finally, why would your people need my help to fight the Manji Clan? They are a bunch of clowns."

Alisa (Amazed.): "Wow!"

Jin: "Is that all? Or do I need to shut you down again?"

Alisa (scared): "Huh? You can still do that?"

Jin (gets up and grins.): "Of course I can. After all you were built to serve me."

Alisa: "NO! Please, I'll go away, just don't say it!"

"Jin! Jin!"

Jin was getting tired of his former bodyguard Alisa, who changed her body parts, but was still the same annoying robot he always knew before having his old engineers re-program her to be silent and obey his every word. The voice of his mother could be heard from the path leading to the lake. Jun Kazama in her lavender kimono walked out of the forest ever so peaceful and vibrant. She was curious to see a girl standing in front of her son. It wasn't the girl she knew that Jin was close friends with so she asks Jin about this strange girl standing in between them.

Jun: "Jin, who is this?"

Jin: "Don't worry, she's not human mother."

Alisa: "I don't believe we've formally made acquaintance. My name is Alisa Bosconovitch!" (Extends her hand.)

Jun (Smiles as she shakes Alisa's cold hand.): "So, you are in relation with Dr. Bosconovitch?"

Alisa: "That's right. He's my father."

Jun: "Well now, I see he had quite the imagination creating you."

Alisa: "I tell people all the time that he is my biological father, but because I'm a machine, people don't believe me."

Jun: "It's fine. Excuse me for a moment."

Jun walks past Alisa and intensely stares at her son. Jin forgot to wash clothes at the house, plus Jun noticed he never packed his clothes to leave the island soon. It was all a front by Jin to avoid his inevitable date.

Jun: "Do you realize that you are wasting time right now? I had to care for the horses at the stable this morning so I asked you to finish the laundry, but instead you are fishing. We're you always this careless as a former CEO of the Zaibatsu?"

Jin: "I can do that tonight. Anyway I thought we could eat some fish for dinner, so I'm out here now. Too bad the fish aren't biting for whatever reason."

Jun: "No! You have too much going on right now to just waste time fishing! You know that girl is waiting for you back in China, so why stand her up now Jin?"

Alisa (thinking in her head.): "A girl?"

Jin: "I don't want to go mom, okay!"

Jun (slaps his face.): "Quit being a coward! She's not going to keep waiting for you forever! Or would you rather remain here with me for the rest of your life?"

Jin: "Oww! Fuck that hurts!"

Jun (knees him just under his groin): "That's rude Jin! Those people at the Zaibatsu made you speak like that didn't they?"

Jin (On his knees in pain.): "Forgive me mom, please! It's hard to find work outside of the island, and many people still hate me for what I've done! You have to understand! I'm scared!"

Jun (helps him up.): "I understand more than you know son. I couldn't save your father from his personal problems, but I won't make that mistake again with you. Now hurry up and do as you're told! Your flight leaves tomorrow at noon, so make sure you have everything you need ok?"

Alisa (Jin walks past her embarrassed, her eyes follow him): "Whao!"

Alisa was quite shocked to see the usually calm and collected Jin seem childish and stubborn towards his mother. Jun apologizes to the android for witnessing their personal family talk.

Jun: "I'm sorry you had to see that. He's gotten so hardheaded ever since we've moved back here. I just hope that this girl Xiaoyu can bring the old Jin I know back."

Alisa: "Xiaoyu? You know her; she's a good friend of mine too. I mean, she's in university now right?"

Jun (walking back to the house.): "After the raid, I met Xiaoyu at the hospital while I was being treated for my wounds. Jin was there too, but he was still in his coma. Xiaoyu really wanted to come with us to the island, but her parents soon contacted her and wanted her to attend university for the fall that year. It was a promise she made to them many years before, so she had to honor it. Xiaoyu was very upset about this because it would have been her opportunity to express her real feelings in front of Jin. So we exchanged email addresses in case she could one day talk to Jin. For awhile we didn't hear back from her until about a month ago. She just finished her second year in university, so she asked if she could come visit us. Unfortunately, Jin and I share the computer at the living room. He saw the email first, and told her not to come here."

Alisa (Stunned.): "Really?"

Jun: "Yes. I banned him from the computer for the rest of this month once I found out. I gave her a reply offering forgiveness and to make it up to her. I paid a flight to Hong Kong so Jin will have to see Xiaoyu and her parents."

Alisa: "Ohh. No wonder I haven't heard back from Xiaoyu lately. Poor thing."

Jun: "Yes, she reminds me of myself when I was chasing Kazuya all over the world, stopping him from doing bad things, you know. The difference is Kazuya never really pushed me away. A part of him always enjoyed my company, even when he was plain hard to get most times. Jin however is still at crossroads with himself. I'm doing my best to make him settle down and keep contact with his friends like this Xiaoyu so that he can live happier days. Even with the Devil Gene removed from his body, I don't know if it will be enough to save him from his terrible past."

Alisa: "How sad."

Jun: "Well, since you traveled all this way. What is it that Jin and I can help you with?"

Alisa: "Oh that's right. Well my friend Lars wanted me to come find you guys to see if you can help make charms that will fight of the spells that vampire and the Manji Clan set up back in Europe. It's our only hope of fighting those evildoers mano e mano!"

Jun: "I see. What did Jin say?"

Alisa: "He refused."

Jun: "Not surprised. I still want him to visit Xiaoyu, so I have decided that I will come and assist your friends."

Alisa: "So you'll come with me?"

Jun: "I will."

Alisa (Jumps for joy): "Yay!"

Jun: "We are almost to my house. Just give me another hour to make sure Jin is good and I pack up my things."

Alisa: "Gotcha."

Before Alisa could depart with Jun, Lars gave her a call. Lars asked Alisa to go ahead and meet up with Raven and Kunimitsu at the south end of the neighboring island Kuchinoerabu-jima so Jun could aid them in creating more charms. Jun gave strict instructions for Jin before leaving the house. He needed to call Alisa so that Jun would know he left the island heading for the Okinawan Airport. This way Jun will feel satisfied that Jin did leave.

Later that day, Kuchinoerabu-jima…

Raven and Kunimitsu trained on the south end of this island by themselves, but some days the two would spar and work together creating charms. Kunimitsu did most of the paperwork while Raven used his kuji-in to summon the necessary magic to implant on each charm. Together the couple made about 10 charms per day. In total they were close to 350 charms made.

Little Karasu stayed with his parents during their time training. Sometimes the nurse, named Sharka, would come and watch the little boy as his parent went about training on their own. This way Karasu always had eyes on him. Little did the nurse & Karasu know that other people had their eyes on them too.

Informant (texting): "Zukumimefu. Do you copy?"

Zuku: "Yes. What is your status?"

Informant: "The one called Raven and Kunimitsu are both training on this island. I have also located Karasu."

Zuku: "Excellent. Is he being guarded?"

Informant: "Yes. It is a woman."

Zuku: "Is she armed and loaded?"

Informant: "Only a pistol and an officer's knife. Nothing to be concerned with."

Zuku: "Good this will be easier than I thought. Make sure no one else is coming at their location. Wait until nightfall to get that baby."

Informant: "Copy that."

Notes: Holidays slowing me down, but it did give some time down to setup the plot even more. Find out if Zuku's next plan to kidnap Karasu will succeed. Then we will see how Zafina is progressing before the next fight with Stella and the Manji Clan. Keep it locked here!
