10. Kiss

"Son of a batch of Christmas cookies!" Gwen shouted. Duncan heard the clattering in the kitchen. He stood from the couch and made his way to the kitchen where Gwen was cradling her hand to her chest. Duncan raised an eyebrow.

"What happened?"

"I cut myself." Gwen groaned. Duncan took her hand in his to examine her wounded finger. It wasn't deep but neither were paper cuts and they hurt like a bitch. He lifted her hand to his mouth and kissed it gently, before grinning at Gwen's blush before he returned to living room the movie he had paused.
