Stalkers and love chapter 3

Rebecca's pov

I was currently having lunch with the people who had picked me up and to be honest I was enjoying myself. Kagome's friends were all really nice and funny. Sango and Miroku are quite a pair on minute they would be having a sweet moment and the next Miroku would be on the ground with a hand print on his face due to his "habits." Koga was always flirting with girls and making Ayame his girlfriend mad. She looked at me as if I was a threat when Koga talked to me but luckily for both of us he just said normal stuff like his name and how it was nice to meet me. Last was Sesshomaru, he was gorgeous. It should be illegal to be that attractive; he had long silver hair and amber eyes, along with muscular arms. I was beginning to think this whole stalker thing wasn't so bad until I remembered what had happened when I had been trying to board my plane. I was starring down at my cheeseburger as I was trying to decide how to tell Kagome about it when suddenly Sango started talking to me.

"So Rebecca what clubs are you in?" She asked in a friendly manner and everyone else looked too putting me on the spot. They all looked like they wanted to know more about me and since Sango had already informed me we were all best friends now I guess that was natural.

"I'm in cheerleading like Kagome, and I was in band and choir at my old school I probably won't do them this year except cheer though. I spend most of my time reading books so I don't want to many clubs interrupting my reading time if I'm going to be hanging out with you guys as well." I said and to my surprise a silver head perked up at the mention of books.

"What kind of books do you like?" Sesshomaru asked somewhat startling me since he hadn't spoken to me before. His voice was deeper than Miroku's or Koga's but I had to admit that it suited him very nicely. I was so busy thinking about his voice that I almost forgot his question but luckily I remembered and managed to save myself from embarrassment.

"I like classic books like a Tale of Two Cities, fiction, and historical fiction," I said excited to have someone who seemed as interested in books as me. He seemed to consider that for a moment then nodded his head as if that was an acceptable answer. I thought that since he was quiet the conversation would drop there but he surprised me yet again when he spoke.

"The library has a large classic book section I could show it to you sometime if you would like," He said and I immediately started on my reading plans thinking of how much time I would have without my clubs.

"I would like that," I said with a huge smile on my face. Books always make me feel better. Sesshomaru simply nodded his head and when I turned back to the group they all seemed slightly shocked that we had managed to keep up a conversation. From what Kagome had told me on the drive to the restaurant Sesshomaru was usually cold, aloof, and never really talked unless it was an insult. Sango seemed to shake out of her shock first and decided to start up another conversation, this one was quite interesting.

"So Becca why did you come to Japan?" She asked and I was happy she called me Becca it made me feel like I was fitting in. I was in my happy zone for a second or two before I remembered her question. I sat there for a moment thinking about whether to answer or not but I decided if we were going to be friends I should be open with them.

"My crazy ex boyfriend Jason is stalking me, and by the way Kagome he saw me board the plane he knows I'm Japan," I said waiting for the information to sink in.

"What!" Everyone yelled in surprise. Sesshomaru's eyes widened slightly in surprise but he was not part of the group shout of confusion. Kagome was getting on to me for not mentioning the last part when I first saw her and Sango, Miroku, Koga, and Ayame kept asking questions while Sesshomaru listened to my answers. While all this chaos was going on all I could think was this move might not be so horrible after all.
