A/N: Had writer's block for this story, so I started writing some straight up fiction stories. The journey to the eastern coast of Canada might be all in one long chapter (:

Guest - I'm not sure how many chapters this story will have. I kind of like having that feeling, and I don't prewrite. I've always been known to go with the flow :)

Thanks InvaderJohnny for all of your reviews and comments!

-Montreal, Quebec, Canada-

"What was that guy saying?" Sam asked, laughing.

"I don't know, something that made him throw a cake at my face!" Freddie replied, wiping off the last of the leftover cake stuck to his face.

"At least they had good food." Sam shrugged.

"That cheese was horrible!" Freddie objected.

"Well, you're a nub, so your opinion is worthless." Sam said.

"At least I didn't get us banned from that antique store." Freddie said, ignoring his wife's insult.

"You knew I didn't want to go there!" Sam said.

"There was some cool stuff!" Freddie defended.

"It was full of model train shit!" Sam shot back.

"Well, it used to be a model train store, so..." Freddie mumbled.

"They have those?" Sam began to laugh again.

"They did..." Freddie said quickly.

Sam's phone began to vibrate before she could reply. She grimaced at the screen. "Carly...screwed Gibby." Sam informed, slightly disgusted, but still happy for her best friend.

"Gibby got his wish." Freddie shrugged.

...

Sam laughed again as she saw her husband drying off his body. Sam had insulted a maple syrup vendor because of his prices, and the vendor ended up pouring several gallons of it on Freddie. They were in a bathroom, about to return to camp after a day of watching snowboarding. Once Freddie had finished redressing, the Bensons ventured into the crowds again. Instead of joy and excitement like they had heard before the maple syrup incident, all that was heard were shrieks of terror and gasps. Sam and Freddie exchanged glances, wondering what all the commotion was about. Sam Benson led her husband to higher ground, so they could see over the crowds and get a view of the slopes. His mouth dropped open as he surveyed the snowy hills and jumps. Sam's eyes widened. One of the snowboarders had obviously messed up a stunt, misjudged a hill, or had even blacked out. It looked to be a man. Sam could make out a broken neck and at least one broken leg. The surrounding snow around the fallen snowboarder had turned dark red. Paramedics surrounded the accident, and security officers kept spectators and other snowboarders from crowding onto the snow. Freddie recorded some video while Sam took a photo, and the couple left their perch above the chaos.

"Looks like we're gonna make the news...again." Freddie said darkly.

"Relax, I was watching you wash syrup off your nubby body while it happened." Sam said.

"You sure loved my body last night..." Freddie said smugly.

Sam blushed and punched his shoulder.

...

Sam awoke to the smell of bacon and muffins. Sam smiled as she noticed her husband putting a plate of bacon onto the dinette table. She rolled out of bed and immediately sat in the booth.

"The muffins should be ready any minute." Freddie said after they shared a good morning kiss.

"Good boy." Sam replied, munching on the bacon.

The oven dinged, and Freddie removed the tray of muffins.

"Have at it." Freddie said after he removed a few for himself.

Sam obliged, diving into the tray, and eating each muffin in a matter of seconds.

"This place is overrated." Sam declared.

"You're just saying that because they didn't have any Canadian Fatcakes." Freddie smirked.

"I needed some!" Sam defended.

"Well, we still have three more cities to tour, and then we're heading back to Seattle." Freddie replied.

"Can we take it easy on the way back?" Sam asked.

Freddie was not surprised at his wife's request.

"Yeah, we can take another route through Canada back, pick up Carly and Gibby-"

"-Gibby?" Sam repeated in disbelief.

"I can only imagine that Gibby would want to come with Carly to Massachusetts. Same reason we're all coming together. Spencer and Charlotte could even come and fly back. We'll have to find a place to store the RV in Massachusetts, but we'll get to that later." Freddie explained. "We'll all have a place for our 'activities'."

Sam rolled her eyes.

"Hey, I'm gonna need energy for the trip back!" Freddie said.
